SystR will propose a groundbreaking approach to feed the science-policy nexus with innovative solutions to address systemic risks (interconnection between multiple sectors and stakeholders and resulting cascading climate impacts). This approach will accelerate transformative adaptation and avoid maladaptation by breaking silos, harmonising multiple scales of governance and tailoring solutions to local needs and strengths with Smart Specialisation Strategies. SystR will deliver a set of innovative results that will collectively strengthen the systemic resilience of the 6 multi-scale regions and communities involved and have a long lasting impact: 1. An Adaptation Support tool targeting the process of systemic adaptation based on the P2R project Regional Resilience Journey 2. A Community Empowerment framework for actively mobilising a diversity of actors across the value chain into the development and testing of transformative solutions, fit to address local climate and aggravating systemic vulnerabilities and risks 3. Novel systemic Governance schemes to improve cooperation at multiple scales 4. Coherent Financial roadmaps to determine how to finance identified resilience solutions and strategies 5. Design, with the support of the digital Visualisation tools, and implement Integrated Ecosystem of Resilience Solutions, integrating the cross sectorial enabling and systemic physical solutions including NBS 6. Accelerate the uptake of its results for critical mass creation, through the Upscaling toolbox and the One Stop Shop, the SystR’s results aggregator. Overall, while pursuing close collaboration with the Climate Adaptation Mission, SystR will demonstrate systemic resilience in three contexts most representative of Europe: coastal in Guadeloupe-France, rural in Bystrica-Slovakia and urban in Rome-Italy, which will be twinned with replication sites of similar challenges, Galicia, Strasbourg and Egaleo, respectively.

This project is based on the meeting of people who have focused their development and transmission work on body percussion in their respective countries.Transmitting to all audiences, to all ages is the motto of all partners, with the common ambition to value the power of rhythm to connect humans and everything without instrument with body language.Joining together to discuss our respective environments in the face of the teaching of music and percussion, the artistic approach that this generates, are the basic principles of the project. Thus, artistic companies very involved in the teaching of body percussion, a conservatory very involved in the question of new practices of teaching music and teacher training, European actors teaching body percussion or having developed new ones. techniques of learning by body percussion and festivalorganizers , come together to create the conditions for a sustainable partnership and based on a true shared statement. The idea is to bring together European cultures, both Ottoman and Iberian (Greece, Turkey, Spain, France) and to associate the artistic and pedagogical experiences of the partners and to try to answer this question will be our adage and the genesis of the project: What is the transmission of rhythm by the body in Europe in the 21st century? The 20th century brought together the musical cultures of the world in contemporary music, what do we do with this heritage? We will have 3 transnationals to work on this topic, we will start in Greece from 10 to 16 October 2019 with participation in the International Body Percussion Music Festival of Athens from 10-13 October to then make our first transnational meeting from 14-16 October 2019 .The second will take place in Istanbul in February 2020The third in June 2020 in BarcelonaThe last meeting will be held in La Rochelle in France in October 2020 with the widest possible opening to the institutions ...... Internships, master-classes, exchanges to transmit the results of this first exchange of 16 months. The last two meetings will be an opportunity to get into the concrete by conducting learning activities for a small group of 1 to 3 learners per partner. This will involve sharing everyone's practices in parallel workshops at transnational meetings. This first year is dedicated to the constitution of a partnership of actors and European operators sensitive to this work, to associate institutional partners who will follow the meetings (teacher of the Paris Conservatoire, Conservatoire de LA ROCHELLE and advisors pedagogical education of music education for France and others that each partner will wish to involve) while practicing with a group of learners during the last two meetings.
