This is a project for higher education student and staff mobility between Programme Countries and Partner Countries. Please consult the website of the organisation to obtain additional details.

The project was undertaken to strengthen the bilateral cooperation with the partner universities in Bosnia & Hercegovina, Israel, Kyrgizistan, Moldova and Serbia. 37 mobilities have been completed and the impact is encouraging. Both student- and teacher mobilities have taken place.The mobilities themselves have been relevant and the evaluations indicate that they have been successful.Almost all planned mobilities have been completed. The fact that not all funding was used, is due to the fact we were not able to recruit enough students and staff from partner universities. The mobilities have strengthened the relationship between USN and the partner universities. The teacher mobilities have established closer relations between academics at USN and the partner universities. Having incoming students in the relevant study programmes have lifted the quality of the study programmes for all students in the programme.The cooperation have led to increased activity with the partner institutions. With one partner university USN has achieved project funding through Erasmus+ Capacity Building. With two other partners funds have strengthened ongoing projects with more mobilities.With all the partners, the main motivation has been shared academic interests and the projects are likely to continue in the long-term.

This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from EU Member States and third countries associated to Erasmus+ to any country in the world. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.

Erasmus+ Mobility project for higher education students and staff at University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) the academic year 2018-2020, going to partner institutions in Programme countries. USN was established as a university on May the 4th 2018, and University College of Southeast Norway (USN) became University of South-Eastern Norway (USN).The objectives of the project were to encourage student mobility for studies and placements, as well as for teaching and staff mobility. In a wider perspective the goals are to offer students a chance to improve their skills-set, employability and cultural and linguistic skills. Exchanges also help build relations at an institutional level with other European partners.USN was awarded 81 grants for studies and placements and 70 grants for teachers and staff training. The result was a mobility of 79 students (12 of these on work placements) and 65 staff members (28 on teaching mobilities and 37 on training mobilities).All in all we consider the project to have had the desired impact.
