    Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (hereafter - LSMU) is a participant of the Erasmus+ project in the Programme Country, which has been granted the Extended Erasmus University Charter, giving the right to organize the Erasmus exchange activities. LSMU is the managing institution in the Erasmus project with the Partner Countries, which recpect the Erasmus Policies and Erasmus Charter principles and quality requirements for organizing and management of mobility activities. The Erasmus activities have been carried out by LSMU with the higher education institutions of the Partner Countries, approved by the Grant Agreement, with which the inter-institutional cooperation agreements have been signed.The main objectives of the project are:• to encourage the mobility of students, lecturers and other staff;• to promote cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and business enterprises, hospitals;• to ensure the quality of higher education, guarantee transparency of studies and academic recognition.Taking into account the received funding, during the project, LSMU implemented mobility activities with 9 higher education institutions in 7 Partner Countries. The following mobility activities were performed:• 8 student mobilities for studies from Partner Countries to LSMU;• 8 staff mobilities for teaching from Partner Countries to LSMU;• 3 staff mobilities for training from Partner Countries to LSMU;• 6 staff mobilities for teaching from LSMU to Partner Countries;• 1 staff mobility for training from LSMU to Partner Country.The Erasmus + program not only promotes academic mobility and cooperation with foreign partners but also increases the internationalization, attractiveness of universities, helps shape a more modern, more dynamic environment in the participating universities.

    The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (hereafter - LSMU) is a participant of the Erasmus+ programme, which has been granted the Extended Erasmus University Charter, giving the right to organize the Erasmus exchange. Erasmus mobility is organized in accordance with the Erasmus policies and Erasmus University Charter requirements.Objectives of the project are as follows:• To encourage mobility of students, teachers and other staff;• To promote cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and enterprises, hospitals;• To ensure the quality of higher education and to guarantee transparency and academic recognition of studies.The following activities were carried out during the project:• exchange studies at foreign institutions of higher education;• traineeships at foreign universities / companies;• teaching at foreign institutions of higher education;• participation at trainings of foreign universities / companies.The following activities were undertaken during the project:• 68 student mobilities for studies;• 99 student and graduate mobilities for traineeship;• 60 staff mobilities for teaching;• 32 staff mobilities for training.Erasmus+ is the main mobility programme for LSMU teachers and students that is not only enhancing academic mobility and cooperation with international partners but also fostering the development of internationalisation, making LSMU more attractive and helping to shape the modern, dynamic environment within the university.
