    In Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiesti procesul de internationalizare a invatamantului superior are o dinamica continua care lucreaza in scopul internationalizarii curriculei, cresterii numarului de studenti internationali, dezvoltarii profesionale si personale a personalului si a studentilor si nu in ultimul rand, consolidarii vizibilitatii UPG in plan international. O componenta principala a internationalizarii invatamantului din Universitatea Petrol-Gaze Ploiesti este activitatea in cadrul programului Erasmus+. Prioritatea institutionala a fost si este reflectata in obiectivele proiectului si vizeaza din punct de vedere al grupului tinta- studentii, cadrele didactice si personalul nedidactic din UPG Ploiesti. Creerea unor parteneriate intre UPG Ploiesti si companii din Uniunea Europeana a dus, prin dezvoltarea componentei de plasament din cadrul programului Erasmus+, la cresterea insertiei profesionale a studentilor romani pe piata muncii. Durata proiectului a fost de 36 luni desfasurat in perioada 1.06.2018-31.05.2021. Numarul de mobilitati contractate a fost urmatorul: 30 mobilitati plasament SMS-P, 70 mobilitati studiu- SMS-S, 35 mobilitati predare- STA-P, 30 mobilitate formare- STP-P. Numarul de mobilitati realizate a fost urmatorul: 6. mobilitati de tip SMS-P cu o durata totala de12 luni , 24 mobilitati SMS-S cu o durata totala de 92 luni si 3 zile,2 mobilitati predare STA-T cu o durata totala de 10 zile,30 mobilitati formare STT-T cu o durata totala de 172 zile. Din numarul total de studenti 14 au fost femei si 16 barbati, iar dintre cadrele didactice si personalul participant 19 au fost femei si 10 barbati. Din numarul total de mobilitati, 21 de mobilitati de tip staff-training au fost realizate in format virtual. Dezvoltarea continua a compoenentei de internationalizare a UPG Ploiesti a impus acest lucru avand in vedere conditiile sociale care au influentat desfasurarea proiectului. Informarea comunitatii academice si studentesti despre obiectivele programului, locurile disponibile in vederea selectiei s-a facut prin: seminarii de informare realizate la inceputul anului universitar si pe parcursul semestrului, legate de domeniile de studiu, asistenta individuala realizata atat la nivel de facultati cat si institutional, informatii postate in mediul on-line atat pe pagina web a universitatii cat si in presa locala. Selectia grupului tinta s-a facut utilizand criterii de selectie corecte, transparente si coerente. Aceste criterii au inclus: merit academic, experienta din mobilitate anterioara, motivarea, cunoasterea limbii tarii gazda, planul de activitate (pentru doctorat / personal). De obicei studentii selectati au urmat un curs de limba inainte de plecare atat pe platforma suport europeana OLS cat si prin suportul oferit de Departamentul de Limbi Straine din cadrul UPG Ploiesti.Obiectivele masurabile in cadrul proiectului au fost: crearea unor parteneriate intre universitatile si intreprinderile/societatile antreprenoriale/societatile comerciale din Europa care sa duca la dezvoltarea aptitudinilor si cunostintelor viitorilor absolventi. Bursele pe care studentii de la UPG Ploiesti le-au efectuat la universitatile partenere au contribuit la dezvoltarea aptitudinilor si cunostintelor viitorilor absolventi prin integrarea lor in programe de studiu cu traditie. În anumite programe, dacă studenții nu s-au putut înscrie din motive legate de COVID-19, au fost invitați să explice acest lucru într-o cerere viitoare. Studentii au fost evaluati individual pentru a evalua situația pandemiei din țara de origine, capacitatea lor de a călători, disponibilitatea emoțională și experiența cu învățarea online. Atat universitatea de origine cat si universitatile gazda au contribuit substantial la sustinerea proiectului si la derularea acestuia in cele mai bune conditii.

    In Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, the process of internationalization of higher education has a continuous dynamism that works in order to internationalize the curriculum, increase the number of international students, the professional and personal development of the didactic and non-academic academic staff and the students and last but not least, strengthening the PGU Ploiesti international visibility. The access to education outside the applicant's home country has recently increased for some countries, but in the same time has created many barriers for others. Thus, for certain specializations within the Erasmus Plus Program, it is already known from whose countries will be a higher demand.A major component of the higher education internationalization at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti is the exchanges with non-EU countries within the Erasmus Plus program: Azerbaijan. Belarus, China (People's Republic of), Lebanon, Russian Federation, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, United States. . The institutional priority has been reflected in the objectives and targets of the project from the perspective of the target group - the students, the teachers and the non-teaching staff from PGU of Ploiesti. The PGU Ploiesti partners involved in the project were the following: Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan. The project took place at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti. The duration of the project was 26 months between June 1st, 2017 and July 31st, 2019. The number of contracted mobilities allocated to countries was as follows: China: 4 mobilities STA-T INCOMING si 3 STT-T INCOMING; Liban: 4 mobilities STT-T ( incoming ), 1 mobilities STA-T ( outgoing); SUA-2 mobilities STA-T si 1 STT-T ( incoming ), 1 mobility SMST-T ( outgoing); Russian Federation : 9 students- (2 incoming si 7 outgoing ); 6 mobilities STA-T ( incoming ), Tunisia : 1 mobility outgoing STT-T, Turkmenistan: 5 mobilities STA-T incoming, 6 mobilities STT-T (incoming), Belarus 10 mobilities incoming STT-T, Azerbaijan 10 mobilities STT-T incoming si 4mobilities STT-T outgoing.The mobilities was realized based on the inter-institutional agreements between the origin organization (the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti and the host organization). The higher education institutions from the Erasmus + Partner countries have joined to the ECHE principles. The informing of the academic and student community for the selection process was made by: informing seminars carried out at the beginning of the academic year and also during the semester, related to the fields of study, individual assistance both at faculty and institutional level, information posted in on-line environment both on the university web site and in the local press. The target group selection was made using legal, transparent and consistent criteria selection. These criteria included: the academic performance, the experience of previous mobility, motivation, knowledge of the host country language, activity plan (for Ph.D / staff). The Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti has consistently collaborated with host institutions by helping to obtain travel visas for the selected scholars and also in the accommodation insurance specific for study and placement. The selected students knew both the host country and the English language and did not attend to a language course before leaving. The institutional priority was reflected in the objectives of the project and aimed, from the target group point of view to increasing the professional insertion of the students into the labor market by acquiring professional knowledge. The measurable objectives of the project were the following: to create partnerships between universities that will lead to the curriculum development and implicitly, the skills and knowledge of future graduates.

    The process of internationalization of higher education in Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti has anongoing dynamism that works for the purpose of internationalization of curricula, increasing the number ofinternational students, the professional and personal development of staff and students, but also forstrengthening the international visibility of Petroleum-Gas University. The Erasmus+ program represents amain component of the internationalization of higher education in Petroleum-Gas University. The funding main component of the internationalization of higher education in Petroleum-Gas University. The funding obtained within this program enabled the carrying out of mobilities both with the member countries of theprogram and with the partner countries. The institutional priority has been and continues to be reflected inthe objectives of the project and it targets students, teachers and the non-teaching staff from the university.The establishment of partnerships between Petroleum-Gas University and several companies from theEuropean Union has led, through the Erasmus+ placement component, to increasing the professionalinsertion of Romanian students into the labor market. The partners involved in this program wereSt. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria, ANOTATO EKPAIDEYTIKO IDRIMA PEIRAIA TECHNOLOGIKOY TOMEA, Rethymno Mare Hotels, PANEPISTIMIO DYTIKIS ATTIKIS, Pamukkale Universitesi, YILDIZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, Aberta University, Portugalia, UCLM Spania. The project took place within Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti during a period of 24 months, between01.06.2017-31.05.2019. The number of contracted mobilities was as follows: 15 placement mobilitiesSMS-P, 50 study mobilities SMS-S, 15. teaching mobilities STA-T, 10 training mobility STA-T. The number ofcompleted mobilities was: 7 SMP-P mobilities with an total of 14 months and 1 day, 14 SMS-Smobilities with an total of 48 months and 5 days, 13 STA-T mobilities with a total of 61 days, 3 STA-T mobilities with an total of 113 days. The placement of students from Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti into renowned programs at the partneruniversities contributed to the development of skills and knowledge of our future graduates.The informing of students and the academic community regarding the process of selection was madethrough: information seminars concerning the study fields at the beginning and throughout the academicyear, individual assistance both from the faculties and the institution, online information that was posted onthe university's web page and in the local media.The selection process of the target group was made through fair, transparent and consistent criteria whichincluded: academic achievements, previous mobility experience, personal motivation, linguistics abilitiessuitable for the host country, activity plans ( for Phd/ staff). Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti was inpermanent contact with the host institutions and helped the scholarship beneficiaries in all the problemsrelated to travel visas, accommodation and all the necessary documents for the placement.Before their mobility, the selected students attended a language course offered by the European platformOLS and they have also received support within the Department of Foreign Languages from Petroleum-GasUniversity of Ploiesti.The main priority of the institution, reflected in the project's objectives, was to help the Romanian studentsacquire professional knowledge at an European level, in order to increase their opportunities on the labormarket. The measurable objectives of the project were: the establishment of partnerships between theUniversity and companies/ entrepreneurial societies from Europe that would help the future graduates toimprove their skills and knowledge, the integration of students into well-knows program from the partneruniversities(e.g. the student scholarships at the Castilla La Mancha etc.), thedevelopment of team spirit and working capacities of the Erasmus+ students as a result of their involvementin different local projects.

    The project was performed in Petroleum-Gas of Ploiesti. The project lasted 16 months during the period 1.06.2014-30.09.2015. The mobilities proposed number performed was: 13 mobilities SMS (Student mobility for studies between Programme Countries) with an average term of 5 months, 1 SMP(Student mobility for traineeships between Programme Countries) mobility , 13 mobilities STA (Staff mobility for teaching between Programme Countries) with a 5-days, one type STT (Staff mobility for training between Programme Countries) mobility. Mobile number achieved was 11 mobilities SMS with total duration of 52 months, 25 extradays , 1 SMP (Student mobility for traineeships between Programme Countries) mobility, 11 STA mobilities with a total duration of 60 days; one type STT mobility with a duration of 6 days. The partners involved were: Rouen University (F ROUEN01) MONT AIGNAN CEDEX France, Ljubliana Univeristy (SI LJUBLJAN01) SLOVENIA, Vigo University (E VIGO01) VIGO PONTEVEDRA, Spain, Castilla-La Mancha University (E CIUDA-RO01), CIUDAD REAL, Spain, Pamukkale University (TRDENIZLI01), Denizli Turkey, WIM BOSMAN NL s?Heerenberg Netherlands. Staff mobility grants for Erasmus mobility are provided as teaching activities. Students during the development mobilities had subsequently recognized courses and laboratories in the country through the Diploma Supplement. During mobilities they were effectively operated the educational resources.The project objectives were divided in two directions: Specific objectives for placement students mobility and also specific objectives for university staff involved in teaching and training activity for the students. The teaching and trainig mobility objectives lead to intensification of cooperation at European level, implementing through common actions new teaching methods, the develop of common directions research, thus improving the quality of teaching and in the same time stimulating teacher training in language learning. The cooperation with partners universities lead to an extend of implementing quality standards, Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti offering assistance to one of the partner as Turkey, in application of quality standards of higher education.The compatibility of project objectives reported at students mobility was between studied disciplines in the mobility period and their personal development needs. Concentrated on improving language skills and performances through develop of initiative spirit and adapting of European requirements through their better learning. The intership placement allowed a increasing of labor quality and also the activities during the period of study.During the program, three phases will be observed: before the mobility, during the mobility and after mobility.The first step in the project will be the selection of the participants. The information for the selection will be made by information seminars made on the beginning of the academic year and also during the semester, seminars about study domains and individual assistance achieved both at faculties and institutional. The host institution will use the personal mobility for forming a group which establish for the students of partner institution the selection criteria for the mobility. The criteria include: academic performance, previous experience mobility, motivation and knowledge of culture and language of the host institution and also the activity plan (Phd, staff). In case of equivalence, the preference will be applied on the students coming from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds.The host institution supports the students selected with visa application, travel, accommodation and insurance problems. The selected students will follow a language course before the mobility. It was used the most efficient work methods in order to required a large range of cognitive and practice activities to design creative solutions for abstract issues. Within the placement mobility have been developed high specialized skills from a certain work or study field as base for an original research and also for the competences from different domains. The academic staff was motivated in professional development direction, in achieving efficient collaborations through scientific cooperation realized by the end of mobility period. Mentoring and tutoring was classic and also virtual through the on-line communications.The Erasmus project was an improvement tool of university management and also of quality development in Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti.Based on experience in the project were developed new strategies to continue the project by using good practices exchanges and also new teaching methods adapted to the European requirements. The continuation of collaborations initiated in the project lead to increasing of bilateral agreement number and also of international visibility of Petroleum and Gas University of Ploiesti.
