"<< Background >>The development of the project is based on the school's Victoria internationalisation strategy for 2019-2024, which aims to ensure quality education, the competitiveness of learners in the labour market. The school has been participating in ERASMUS projects since 2014 and has provided many school students with opportunities to familiarise themselves with the European labour market, its requirements and peculiarities, to complement practical skills and competences, to deepen knowledge of foreign languages, to improve communication skills and to develop other knowledge and competences such as dealing with stress situations. Participation in ERASMS projects also promotes the popularity of vocational training at national level and not only at a specific school. Also in Victoria, one of the reasons for enrolling students is the possibility to participate in ERASMS mobility. ERASMS projects promote student learning and reduce the risks of early school leaving. Participation also encourages students to study professional subjects more closely in order to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that are valuable for participation in the project and for working with practitioners. The project also enables teachers to acquire new knowledge and experience, familiarise themselves with the culture of partner countries.<< Objectives >>The project had several objectives; to improve and increase the practical knowledge of students in the chosen profession, to improve their cultural understanding, self-assessment, knowledge of foreign languages and motivation to learn by implementing work-based training and internships in foreign enterprises, thus promoting the understanding of students about the European labour market and its requirements and peculiarities. Participation in projects would help students develop a number of knowledge, skills and competences, including soft skills, which are an integral part of the profession standards. In the digital age, and especially after THE COVID-19 pandemic, a growing number of young people lack communication skills, the ability to be flexible in adapting to different working and living conditions, dealing with stressors and challenges and working for the team. Participation in projects is an excellent way to develop these skills, which will make learners and school graduates more competitive in the future. As regards school staff, the aim of the project was to provide training for staff and educators abroad, to improve the quality of teaching through international experience gained.<< Implementation >>During the project, the school implemented almost all planned activities:1. 4 school students underwent long-term practice as part of the ERASMS PRO program in Malaga, Spain. Host organisation is TRIBEKA TRAINING LAB S.L.U.2. 30 students were able to participate in work-based training in Schkeuditz, Germany (8 people, host organisation is VITALIS Betreuungsgesellshaft fur Modellprojekte mbH.) and practice in Barcellona POZZO di Gotto, Italy (12 people, host organisation is Associazione Artistica Culturale ""A Rocca""), Malaga, Spain (6 people, host organisation is TRIBEKA TRAINING LAB S.L.U.) and Tenerife, Spain (4 people, host organisation is Formacion Europea, Practica, Molividad).3. 2 teachers took part in the teachers' mobility to Italy. Host organisation is Associazione Artistica Culturale ""A Rocca"".All students were provided with internships in the professions they chose. The internships were also counted as annual internships under the curriculum, which enabled students not only to fulfill the required part of their internship within learning programme but also to gain international experience.<< Results >>Overall, the results of the project can be assessed as positive, as demonstrated by the level of student satisfaction. According to the feedback, students gained practical experience in the profession, as well as developed no less important in future work communication skills - knowledge of a foreign language, dealing with problems and stress situations, working with unknown people, working in the team. The growing popularity of the project among students can also be seen as a positive outcome. After the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning, students showed little interest for participating in mobility abroad. Participants in this project shared their experiences with group members after the mobilities during a meeting organized by program directors and in the new 2022 project, the number of interested persons and candidates to the first mobilities increased.Among lecturers, interest in participating in the project also increased - lecturers ask the school administration questions about opportunities for participation, which had not been observed before."
