    The project “CL.au.DI.A. - Antillean Digital Culture: Young artists are trained and promote digital culture in the Caribbean” is a capacity building project in VET in the Caribbean region, with a consortium made up of ARCS Culture Solidali (Italy – coordinator), D' Antilles et D'Ailleurs (Martinique, France), Asociación Hermanos Saíz (Cuba), Centro Nacional para la Superación de la Cultura (Cuba), Universidad de Ciencias Informáticas (Cuba), Ecole Supérieure d'Infotronique d'Haïti (Haiti) and Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association (Dominica). The main objective of the project is to build capacities and promote the strategic development and internationalization of: a) the consortium and their staff, b) young artists, c) VET trainers; d) people pertaining to vulnerable communities; e) VET training sector in the field of art, culture and technology. In order to do so, the following activities and products are foreseen: - the development of a VET training program in Digital Culture adapted to the characteristics of the Caribbean region (includes: study plan, guide and training program for teachers, training materials - online course version and handbook version in PDF -, frameworks for multilevel evaluation and accreditation, and guidance for VET institutions for the integration of the course in their regular programs- local and transnational training activities for youth, artists, VET teachers and people from vulnerable communities- start-up of 40 ventures and/or projects related to Digital Culture- 2 local multiplier events and an international conference- the launch of the Antillean Digital Culture Network (CL.au.Di.A Network).Capacity building is envisaged in:- 24 people from the staff of partner organizations- 80 teachers- 40 young artists- 100 key organizations for the vocational training sector in the field of art, culture and technology- 800 people from vulnerable communities.More than 100,000 people will be informed about CL.au.DI.A.
