This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from EU Member States and third countries associated to Erasmus+ to any country in the world. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.

Sustainable Horizon Alliance will contribute to an inclusive society, supporting researchers/academics deeply thinking, respecting nature, practical problem-solving professionals, adapting to new challenges. We are six young HEIs, open to innovation, located in small cities within EU periphery, from South Extreme (Faro-Pt, Huelva-Es), Central (Zlìn-Cz, Ludwigshafen-De), Eastern (Timisoara-Ro) to North (Lahti-Fi) carried out activities of co-production with relevant economic regional impact. The complementary strength in sustainability scientific fields aiming at inclusive institutional transformation and providing a platform as preferential partners collaborating with surrounding ecosystems. The goals are to support the Alliance created in 2019 and in especially the Widening Countries HEIs (UAlg, BUAS UTB) to, within the network and with the best practices, define road maps to effectively implement inclusive approaches to open science policies, gender balance plans, careers management, researcher’s societal links. Our sustainability research approach will be anchors on traditional sciences (environmental, socioeconomics) but with strong interdisciplinarity innovation based on Artificial Intelligence, allowing Entrepreneurship and Employability to impact regional ecosystems. The Alliance will rely on a creative governance model with a balanced top-down and bottom-up approach with the academic/researcher clusters (Science & Technology, Health, Socio-Economics), the leadership (Rectors& Directors), to an effective institutional change that will achieve balance between careers and life, to foster a variety of joint research projects based on excellence and trustful collaboration to allow International competitiveness. Using our HEIs geographic proximity, historic, cultural and linguistic links, we aim to project the Alliance outside Europe (eg. Africa & South America) offering Distance learning PhD supporting locally at global level sustainability and a Healthy Planet.

Program Erasmus+ je hlavní součástí portfolia mobilitních programů Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně (UTB). Pro naši univerzitu je realizace kvalitních mobilit studentů a zaměstnanců základním předpokladem pro rozvoj internacionalizace, což je i v souladu s několika body Plánu realizace Strategického záměru UTB pro rok 2018 a 2019. Program Erasmus+ pomáhá tyto body z velké míry naplňovat. Erasmus+ KA103 patřil i v uplynulém období za nejdůležitější mobilitní program. Realizovalo se skrze něj cca 60% všech studentských mobilit UTB do zahraničí. Program nám umožnil zrealizovat celkem 262 mobilit (37 SMP; 143 SMS; 68 STA; 14 STT), což s tolerancí 10% odpovídá původnímu plánu. UTB eviduje každoročně se zvyšující zájem o mobility mimo programové země, což má negativní následky pro samotný program Erasmus+. Nicméně i tak se stále daří udržovat velký zájem o výjezdy v rámci tohoto porgramu. Mezinárodní oddělení klade velký důraz na propagaci mobilit. Pro vyjíždějící studenty a zaměstnance je k dispozici web xchange.utb.cz, kde je možné podat recenzi o absolvované mobilitě. Ve spolupráci se studentskou organizací Buddy System Zlín pořádáme mnoho doprovodných aktivit, které slouží k propagaci mobilit, integraci zahraničních studentů a zvyšování povědomí o internacionalizaci na UTB. V projektovém období se nám podařilo zrealizovat International Week, International Festival, Country Presentations a aktivity v rámci Social Erasmus. Pravidelně pořádáme meetingy pro zájemce o výjezd a to jak na centrální, tak i fakultní úrovni. Kvalita mobilit, spokojenost účastníků a jejich zkušenosti jsou pro nás zásadní a tak máme radost z výsledků, které nabízí MT - 93,66% SMS; 89% SMP; 100% STA; 100% STT účastníků bylo spokojeno se zkušenostmi z mobility, u přijíždějících pak 97% SMS; 100% STA a 94 % STT účastníků bylo spokojeno se zkušenostmi z mobility. Na zlepšování kvality mobilit a zkušeností účastníků se chceme zaměřit i do budoucna.
