assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:WSB University in GdańskWSB University in GdańskFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2015-1-PL01-KA103-014402Funder Contribution: 80,760 EURMobility is currently preceived as a key element of European Union policy in the field of education and training, and one of the priorities of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training. Following in the wake of European policy, WSB wants to improve training programs and skills and new competences of its employees in order to implement new methods and innovative solutions. Education supporting the development of mobility for improving the quality of education and create better employment opportunities for young people is a key point of the strategy of internationalization of the university. An important aspect and goal of the project is to contribute to increased participation in lifelong lives of people of all ages, including those with special needs and disadvantaged groups, regardless of their socio - economic development and the consolidation of the idea of learning throughout life and indication the value of having an impact on social cohesion, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, gender equality and personal fulfillment. In the academic year 2015/2016 WSB University in Gdansk realized 12 interneships mobilities, 16 student mobility for study, 10 teaching Staff visits and 6 employee visits. Students / beneficiaries of the program Erasmus + are the students of almost all faculties offered at WSB, studying at the II or III studies of Ba level and II year on MA level, who met the conditions of participation and positively went through the recruitment process. University employees qualified for trips, come from different organizational units and faculty departments. Project management is based on the fundamental principles of EU projects such policies which the policy of sustainable development, equal opportunities policy, including equality between women and men, partnership policy, innovation policy and transnational cooperation and the policy of good governance. Actions that are taken by the university to share the results of the project is a newsletter for staff and students, is dedicated funpage FB driven by an employee of the International Relations Department, is posting all the information on the project on the official website and extranet. We also organize meetings with students and staff as well as information sessions and exhibitions, eg. Photos of students. We print leaflets and brochures, we also use to transfer audio-visual media and social media. Our target group are students in our universities and prospective students who, thanks to the borrower of information they decide to continue their education at our university. The results are also disseminated to employees but also the business environment, with which we cooperate. The impact of mobility Erasmus + for students is to improve the efficiency of learning, increase employment opportunities and career development, to increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. Participation in the project also translates into increased self-confidence and independence by young people, to improve foreign language skills and increase awareness. As for university staff mobility translates into improved skills related to their professional profile (teaching, training) and a broader understanding of the practices, policies and systems in the field of education, training and youth work in other countries. Placement abroad can often enhance the ability to make changes to modernize its working methods and a better quality of work and activities for the benefit of students. From the point of view of the university, the impact of the mobility of its students and employees mobility project contributes to increase the capacity for action at EU / international level and to improve the management and internationalization strategy, and to strengthen cooperation with foreign partners. Breath of knowledge / know-how in the partner universities in the field of internationalization allows for innovative and improved method of operation for the target groups by providing for example .: more attractive programs for students and trainees as well as improved processes for recognition and validation of competences acquired during study periods abroad

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:WSB University in GdańskWSB University in GdańskFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-PL01-KA107-037693Funder Contribution: 13,875 EURThe end of the Erasmus + KA107, year 2017/2018 project at WSB University in Gdańsk ended with our positive assessment, as the implementation of such activities is an additional element of the internationalization of the university. The university implemented exchange of administrative and teaching staff as well as one student exchange. The project aimed to intensify international cooperation with the partner university of Polessky State University from Belarus. In the context of the exchange of teaching staff and administration, efforts were focused on joint future additional activities between the university, such as joint publications, guest lectures, etc. The exchange of staff improved the quality of teaching and learning, improvedstudent access to internationalization at their home universities and contributed to the growth of their international competencies. The project resulted in:- expanding the scope of cooperation between the WSB in Gdańsk and the partner country- increasing the mobility of employees with the partner country- development of lasting relationships with new partners in a wide range of topics, building a network of contactsinternational- internationalization of the curriculum- better knowledge and exchange of innovative teaching methods.This year, thanks to the received funding for SMS activities, we have completed 1 student arrival. A student completed one semester at full-time studies in the field of Finance and Accounting, successfully completed classes and actively participated in campaigns organized by the Foreign Relations Department.Project assumptions, mobility and budget were implemented in 96,19 %.

Idąc w ślad za polityka europejską, WSB pragnie doskonalić programy kształcenia oraz umiejętności i nowe kompetencje swoich pracowników w celu wdrażania nowych metod i innowacyjnych rozwiązań. Edukacja wspierająca rozwój mobilności dla podnoszenia jakości kształcenia oraz tworzenie lepszych szans na zatrudnienie dla młodych ludzi jest kluczowym punktem strategii umiędzynarodowienia uczelni. Ważnym aspektem i celem projektu jest przyczynianie się do zwiększenia uczestnictwa w uczeniu się przez całe życie osób w każdym wieku, w tym osób o szczególnych potrzebach edukacyjnych oraz grup defaworyzowanych, niezależnie od ich środowiska społeczno-gospodarczego oraz utrwalanie idei uczenia się przez całe życie i wskazanie wartości mających wpływ na spójność społeczną, aktywne obywatelstwo, dialog międzykulturowy, równość kobiet i mężczyzn oraz samorealizację. W roku akademickim2018/2019 WSB w Gdańsku zrealizowała 15 wyjazdów studentów na praktyki, 16 mobilności studentów w celu odbycia studiów za granicą, 12 wyjazdów pracowników dydaktycznych oraz 10 pracowniczych wyjazdów w celu szkoleniowym. Studenci/ beneficjenci programu Erasmus + to studenci wszystkich prawie kierunków oferowanych na WSB, studiujący na roku II bądź III studiów stacjonarnych oraz II roku studiów magisterskich, którzy spełnili warunki uczestnictwa oraz pozytywnie przeszli przez proces rekrutacyjny. Pracownicy uczelni zakwalifikowani do wyjazdów, pochodzą z rożnych komórek organizacyjnych oraz katedr. Zarządzanie projektem opiera się na podstawowych zasadach polityki projektów unijnych takich jakich polityka zrównoważonego rozwoju, polityka równości szans, w tym równości kobiet i mężczyzn, polityka partnerstwa, polityka innowacyjności i współpracy ponadnarodowej oraz polityka dobrego zarządzania. Działania jakie są podejmowane przez uczelnię w celu podzielenia się rezultatami projektu to dedykowany funpage na Facebooku prowadzony przez pracownika Działu Współpracy z Zagranicą, to zamieszczanie wszystkich informacji dotyczących projektu na oficjalnej stronie www oraz w zakładce w wewnętrznym systemie online WSB - Extranecie. Organizujemy też spotkania ze studentami i pracownikami, a także sesje informacyjne oraz wystawy np. zdjęć studentów. Cyklicznie organizujemy spotkania dla nowo zrekrutowanych studentów WSB na temat możliwości wzięcia udziału w programie, a także eventy integracyjne dla studentów przyjeżdżających na naszą uczelnię w ramach programu. Drukujemy ulotki i broszury, używamy również do przekazu media audiowizualne oraz media społecznościowe. Naszą grupą docelową są studenci naszej uczelni oraz potencjalni studenci, którzy dzięki pozyskanym informacjom zdecydują się na kontynuowanie swojej edukacji na naszej uczelni. Rezultaty są również upowszechniane zarówno dla pracowników, jak i środowiska biznesowego, z którym aktywnie współpracujemy. Wpływ mobilności Erasmus + dla studentów to poprawienie wydajności uczenia się, zwiększenie szans zatrudnienia i rozwoju kariery, to zwiększenie poczucia inicjatywy i przedsiębiorczości. Uczestnictwo w projekcie przekłada się również na zwiększenie pewności siebie i usamodzielnienia się przez młodych ludzi, na poprawienie znajomości języka obcego oraz zwiększenie świadomości międzykulturowej i kompetencji w zakresie komunikacji międzykulturowej. Jeżeli chodzi o pracowników uczelni, mobilność przekłada się na poprawienie umiejętności związanych z ich profilem zawodowym (nauczanie, szkolenie) oraz na szersze rozumienie praktyk, polityk i systemów w dziedzinie wychowania, kształcenia i pracy z młodzieżą w innych krajach programu. Odbycie stażu za granicą pozwala często na zwiększenie zdolności do wprowadzania zmian w zakresie unowocześnienia swoich metod pracy oraz na lepszą jakość podejmowanych na rzez studentów działań. Z punktu widzenia uczelni, projekt mobilnościowy przyczynia się do zwiększenia zdolności do działania na poziomie UE/międzynarodowym oraz do usprawnienia zarządzania i strategii internacjonalizacji, a także do wzmocnienie współpracy z partnerami zagranicznymi. Zaczerpnięcie wiedzy know-howz uczelni partnerskich w zakresie umiędzynarodowienia pozwala na innowacyjny i ulepszony sposób działania na rzecz grup docelowych przez zapewnienie np.: większej ilości atrakcyjnych programów dla studentów i praktykantów, a także na ulepszone procesy uznawania i walidacji kompetencji zdobytych podczas okresów nauki za granicą.
