It cooperates with international partnersin research and education and promotes the exchange of students and professors and university teachers and employees.Under this Erasmus Third country project the ""Hochschule""/University Applied Sciences has carried out about 85% of the granted mobilities successfully andaccording to the contractually required directives of the EU.Primarily the students have benefitted with around 20 incoming and outgoing mobilities, besides also 4 university teachers and 4 employees with Staff Mobilities. The internationalization of the university itself has been enhanced by the Erasmus activities carried out. In particular, there have been also manyincoming staff and teachers who have enriched the international landscape at the university.Mobilities between Germany and Morocco have been hampered due to Visa delays for incoming students and at the end also due to Covid-19 restrictions, otherwise alle mobilities would have been realised.A fast and reliable communication with all members of the university, as well as with the university partners abroad is possible.via a Senate committee, foreign representatives in the various departments and the Academic International Office, as well as the Erasmus institutional Co-ordinator,Especially the mobilities with Jordan have led to a considerable increase of departments involved at both universities."

Staff mobility, the mobility of teachers as well as the mobility of students were carried out from all sides. In general, the mobilities carried out were positively received and well organised by the participants and the organisations involved. The necessary formalities such as visa, accommodation as well as academic preparation/accompaniment worked well and enabled smooth and academically integrated exchanges. Points of criticism of the participants regarding accommodation and academic support in Morocco are taken up and are dealt with during further activities, or addressed in advance. On the occasion of the personnel mobilities carried out, further exchange options were discussed and already introduced in some areas (e.g. electrical engineering with the German Jordanian University). The experiences of the mobile students will be used to better prepare and carry out future exchanges on all sides involved. They have contributed to mutual understanding and not insignificantly also to improved education.
