Partners of the consortium are Hacettepe University, Başkent University, Turkish Physiotherapy Association, Occupational Therapy Association, Neurodevelopmental Therapists Associations, Child Development and Trainers Association, Cochlear Implant Association, Hacettepe University Undergraduate and Graduate Alumni Association, Cleft Lip and Palate Association, Audiology, Speech and Voice Specialist Association. The consortium’s aim is to enable the international mobility of 100 students and 25 staff for a period of 2 to 12 months across Europe. Each partner of the consortium has contributed to all steps of the project with shared responsibilities. The duration of the project was 24 months. With its expertise on international projects, Hacettepe University has assumed the role of coordinator in this consortium project. This consortium has contributed to strengthening the cooperation between higher education institutions and business world. Owing to the mobility under this project, the participants have been able improve their chances for employability on grounds of the experience they obtained, they have also had a chance to improve their skills pertaining to foreign language, inter-personal communication, inter-cultural learning and self-confidence. This consortium has helped its participants to gain relevant experience and improve their skills, and hence prepared them for professional work. This consortium has contributed to the improvement of the cooperation between academia and business professionals at the level of Europe. During the project, evaluation processes have been realised by the participants and partner institutions to reach and follow the quality management in the consortium. All partner higher education institutions have done their best to ensure the recognition of the mobilities of the participants, and hence these processes have been completed successfully.

Ithas become one of the universities in Turkey that reached to the highest numbers of mobility and to the largest budget used for the program by sending students andstaff within the framework of Erasmus Study and Student Placement Mobility and teaching and training mobility. All the Erasmus+ activities in our university areimplemented by the EU Office in cooperation with the Rectorate and at the same time the quality of the Erasmus activities is ensured with an Academic AdvisoryCommittee including academicians and vice rectors. Approximately 230 Erasmus department and faculty coordinators from the various departments, graduate schools,conservatory and faculties are actively participating in all of the studies.In 2014-2015 academic year, 388 students benefited from the Erasmus student mobility in Hacettepe University. With the agreements signed since 2014, there are 551bilateral Erasmus agreements in total for the mobility of outgoing and incoming students and staff. The interest of the students has been increasing for Erasmus eachacademic year. While 34 students applied to the program in 2004, this number reached to 1165 in 2014-2015 academic year.With the regular meetings and presentations held both in departments and general in the university, with the introduction of Student Placement Program, it is aimed toincrease the awareness of academicians about the program. Our university has been sending students abroad through Leonardo da Vinci Program since 2004 andthrough LLP Student Placement Program since 2007-2013. 44 students from Hacettepe University benefited from student placement program in 2014-2015 academicyear.Our office has arranged regular presentations for the development of the program for years and prepared the students to the process with the Orientation Trainingswhich has been selected as a model for good implementation of the program, thus aimed the full recognition of the program with Academic Committee meetings andthe cooperation with Bologna Process Office, graduate schools and Registrar's office.In 2014-2015 academic year, 21 academicians participated in teaching and 9 officers participated in training mobility. Alongside presentations, one to one support wasgiven to each officer during the process. Since 2014-2015 academic year, a 'Staff Week' has been organized for the International Office staff which is planned to beorganized every year. Proper internationalisation is provided through these kind of activities and the increase in the number of staff.Our university gives a great importance to Erasmus Program. The language support given to both university staff and students and decisions taken for the students who withdrew from the mobility program after the deadlines are ensured by the University Senate. Since 2013, the School of Foreign Languages has been offering freelanguage courses in 5 different languages up to 90 hour each to outgoing students before their mobility period including free course materials. Our office has beencarrying out various Scientific Research Department (SRD) projects along Erasmus Scholarship project, which supports the activities organized for the students andErasmus coordinators. Since 2011-2012 academic year, a transportation assistance of 900 TL is made to outgoing students by SRD office with the support ofRectorate. Thus our office aims to provide financial support to outgoing Erasmus students for the mobility process in our university and to promote the program withinthe university. Moreover, promotion of our university and consolidation of the partnerships are supported through the university's participation to international fairs.During the semester holidays, with the presentations and meetings organized for promotion of Erasmus for university staff and students in every campus of theuniversity we aim to rise the awareness about Erasmus Program. Besides, we are in close cooperation with Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and Exchange StudentClub of the university. European Day which is celebrated in 9th of May is celebrated in our university at the same time as Erasmus Day.The Orientation Program organized with the Informal Education Techniques since 2007 are held 2 days. During the program, students are informed about the visaprocess, documents, intercultural exchange, international relations and luggage preparation. Furthermore, we give ""Erasmus Journal"" and certificate to the students whofully participated in the program for their use during the mobility period.Our University aims to be part of the different actions and projects under Erasmus+ Program with an increase in the quality as a leading university."
