We also intend to promote respect between different value structures both individually and in different cultures. Finally, we intend to generate a reflection on what values unite us as members of the European Union and how these help us to have a feeling of belonging to this union. The specific objectives of this project are:-understand the importance of values in our life and our day-to-day-explore how sports help promote different values--promote a more active lifestyle and get the opportunity to get to know and try less-known sports-promote intercultural understanding through team play and collaboration-foster respect between different cultures and the feeling of Europeanism<< Implementation >>During this project we will have a single activity: a youth exchange in Navarredonda de Gredos (Ávila). During this activity, 31 young people from Spain, Croatia, Greece, Romania and Cyprus will meet. Participants will be between 18 and 25 years old (since we consider this a key period in personal and social development) and will be young people who have some involvement with the sending entities and are motivated to learn more about themselves and the subject of the draft. The group leaders will be people with experience in the Erasmus + field and who actively participate in the sending entities. Each group will be as diverse as possible. We will ensure a gender balance and the inclusion of diverse people, including at least one person with fewer opportunities per national group.<< Results >>Through their participation in Workout your values, young people will get to know themselves better, understand what values are important to them, learn to assertively defend these values, and respect others´ value structures. They will also develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, or emotion management.

more_vert assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:"SDRUZHENIE ""DEAR"" - DARE ASSOCIATION, f724b731e79832877d1aaacb001c97f3, Asociatia MasterPeace Ro, European Link Center"SDRUZHENIE ""DEAR"" - DARE ASSOCIATION,f724b731e79832877d1aaacb001c97f3,Asociatia MasterPeace Ro,European Link CenterFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-3-TR01-KA105-061334Funder Contribution: 13,536 EURUndoubtedly, the universal unifying power of music is too strong to be underestimated. Music; it is an excellent power that can bring together many people from different cultures, different religions, different languages. Communication between people makes something that has such a strong contribution, and being in the music in some way socializes the human at the same time. The person who is socialized with music gets away from everything else at that moment, and remains and enjoys life. No matter how different cultures are, we have a common culture. The genres of music originate and evolve from the cultures of the places where they appear. For this reason, music contains the cult of where it emerges and is part of the formations that symbolize the cult where it emerges. Our project has two dimensions. As the first dimension, we want to get to know the Balkans, who have recently hosted conflicts and wars, and their cultures more closely. We want to use the unifying power of music, Balkan Music, to raise awareness of our young people in such issues as intercultural, respect, and tolerance that are a little more important for the Balkan communities. Because the best part of Balkan music is the common point of international interaction. Multiple languages, very different instruments, meet each other in the same melodies. When we come to the second dimension, researches we have done show that the number of young people who are disadvantaged due to economic and social inequality and who isolate themselves from the society increases day by day. We can say that this youth who can be described as marginalized youth is at risk. These young people at risk can not make themselves up in society because they have no self-confidence. Because music is a powerful tool, when they are involved in music studies they will express themselves and gain self-confidence. From here we want to realize our project by combining these two dimensions. Our project and our young people will perceive this as a common problem in Europe. And together they will use music, a universal language, to create awareness. We want these young people who are at risk to turn their lives with music and raise their self-esteem. We want the project to be a unifying force for them. Our young people who will take part in music studies will both express themselves and have the happiness of producing something. We will have a total of 38 participants in our project. While we identify our participants, we will ask our partners to form mixed groups. We especially want to involve young people who have no knowledge of music. young people at risk of marginalization also want to participate in the project. And young people in Balkan culture .. different cultures but one roof will unite music ... We will also contribute to the breaking of the prejudices of our young people who will gain awareness about cultures. We will use music to remove stereotypes and stereotypes from our program. It is also very important for us to have young people with limited opportunities among our participants. We want our young people who have no project experience to live this adventure. We also want to include people who are interested in our project and who are interested in working with youth and who are working in these issues, as well as young people with digital and design skills. The effects we will leave locally with our project will be as follows; Participants will learn the music of the Balkan culture especially during the project and prepare their dance show to get the chance to learn this culture with music which is universal language. Our young people who will develop the learning process in this way will share this activity with our local people first. We want to invite our local people, and invite everyone, especially our local people, to embroider the cultures. After our screening, we will introduce our young people to Erasmus + and European opportunities. This living example that they see will be a courage, perhaps for the sake of new initiatives, further exciting them to be informed. We will also send out our partners' records by duplicating our records. Thus, the good result we have reached with these representations in their own places will be shown to all circles. We will use social media as a tool to spread this project of our project again. The effects of our project on the participants will be as follows; Our young people; they will also have increased knowledge and experience on topics that they have never known about the Balkan communities, cultures, histories, music, and dances. They will then be able to understand the Balkan perception in society in full accord with the information they will receive from our project and will be able to share this information with their surroundings. Our young people who will come to my country will leave with beautiful memories in our project by meeting each other, establishing dialogue and having a good time together.

In our local communities, youth workers and youngsters in general have difficulties in finding new opportunities for their personal and professional development, to find a network of young people to create activities and collaborate with, to participate in events that promote and support social inclusion and active participation in local communities. Our youth workers struggle in finding ways to effectively reach out their target groups and propose relevant activities for the community. This is due to a lack of support by the local entities and municipal councils, which don’t invest in young people’s development; and a scarcity of number of youth organisations operating at a rural level. These analyses made in communion with the partnership made us design a youth workers mobility with the aim of supporting, empowering and developing youth worker’s capacity to operate in their local rural realities, giving them practical and theoretical tools with which could increase the quality of their work with their target groups; exchange good practices within the partnership, inspire and find new common ways to face rural depopulation and create a common network that supports youth work and active community life in the respectives local communities. The MAIN GOAL of the project: supporting young people to create sustainable and inclusive rural communities. The SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of the project are:To implement professional development mobility in the community of Cirat to train 24 youth workers from 8 European countries to support youth aged 18-30 in building rural communities sustainable in time.To equip 24 youth workers with innovative tools through non formal education activities, experiential learning, social entrepreneurship knowledge and methods they can use in their daily work with their target groups in rural communities; To analyse and identify the issues that the 8 partners organisation have in common in order to create new opportunities and a solid network of cooperation through 8 months of collaboration. To involve the at least 80 young people, located in 8 rural communities), in long-term local activities and workshops organised by the youth workers who participate in the project. To create a network of youth communities located in rural areas that exchange practices and cooperate. To promote the repopulation of rural areas and a model of sustainable lifestyle to the international community with a motivational video that is shared on social networks and through the social networks of empowering stakeholders.<< Implementation >>The main activity of Communities Activators is a Professional Development Activity which involves 24 participants coming from 8 European CountriesThe participants of the activities are volunteers and youth workers whose mission is the creation of opportunities of inclusion and involvement for youth in their rural local communities. They are inhabitants of these rural communities, who felt the need of creating opportunities both for their peers, and for the youngest generations. Their mission is based on the fact that they considered themselves “lucky” to be involved in social activities when they were younger: activities who supported them to choose the career they preferred and to get to know other volunteers and youth workers located in other communities, at national and international level. Some of them had the opportunity to participate in Erasmusplus and/or other international activities, other were involved by local organisations. Now, their mission is to guide young people from rural community to experience all the possibilities, finally addressed, if this mission resonates with them, in coming back to their original rural community. All of the participants, after experiencing both international and local opportunities, want to create sustainable green communities in their rural areas, where the answer to the needs of young people is the priority.<< Results >>This project will benefit participants, participating organisations, the local and international community.Participants will acquire new innovative tools that will impact positively their youth work, will be more aware on the issue of rural depopulation and how to prevent it, will create new opportunities for themselves and their target groups;Partners will create a last longing cooperation with organisations facing similar issues, they will increase their youth work capacity, widen their target groups and include them in more relevant activities;Local young people will benefit through actively taking part in the session proposed during the project, they will be more aware of the importance of empowering young people to create opportunities in rural communities, they will be more aware of the positive impact of international mobilities and how the importance of youth work as a fundamental key for change. The international community will be inspired to experience of a sustainable rural lifestyle, being reached by the creation of a network that connects youth workers and participating organisation that are living in rural communities, as a common ground for starting cooperations for the involvement of youth living in local communities.
