<< Objectives >>Flow with your Elements aims to address youth workers with risk of burnout and develop their ETS and digital competencies through the two times 10 days residential learning activities & through the SALTO HOP online resilience course participation & extended mentoring during the 12 month collaboration. Competence development ensured in many ways - 2 residential courses based on the Five Elements methodological tools & the online resilience learning course are meant to serve & develop social- cognitive (ETS) & digital competencies & beyond that, a set of well being-skills essential to tackle burn out. By which our target groups are addressed due to their high stress youth and social work or due to the current global crisis trends and previous pandemic. Aims are to support a) recognition of wellbeing development reached at an individual and professional level thus building a positive self-confidence of youth workers and their young target groups; and b) recognition and visibility of positive influences of resilience within non-formal learning and youth work context in general. The competence development of youth workers will be resulted in a) personal resilience shields, that is a set of practices/guidelines they need to follow in their private/work life in order to ensure balanced life leading and for prevention of burnout, b) 1-2 days wellbeing workshop curriculum for youth workers as assignments of online learning course c) a complete learning cycle based ETS competence self-assessment d) on the job 2 days workshop facilitating experience of youth workers e) best practice exchange and tool fairs on wellbeing f) various national and international dissemination events through online workshops g) 56 youth workers participating on a long-term blended learning event facilitated with an online course. Here social inclusion as an important topic to address, it might sounds unique, but the target groups we are working with we define disadvantaged - youth workers who are at high risk of burnout ( working with youth of fewer opportunities as target groups - settlement, addiction, refugee background) or due to the increased stress that the current global crisis and pandemic puts on them. These youth workers are often not recognized in many ways: importance of their work,salary,- fluctuation rate is high. They can immediately start the new tools in their private/work life that will uplift their mental/physical health & wellbeing in general. They also benefit in using new ways of non-formal learning such as online/blended learning. Beneath this we train youth workers to use the Five Element tools (coaching, chikung and mindfulness) which is innovation in the field of youth work - to enrich their & their target groups’ competence development in the theme of well being. The project was born during the dissemination/multiplicator events of HEARTLAND KA2 (2021-23) and the previous Your Natural Element project that is to increase the quality of adult education/youth work and training by developing helping professionals’ competencies, linked to work engagement using a new training methods “HEART” and the Five Elements coaching tools. With the original Your Natural Element partnership of PT, TR GE, HU, during the online/offline dissemination events we received much positive feedback, the transferability of tools was evident - we could apply & adapt them very well to youth workers, ESC volunteers, trainers from the youth field. We made a survey partly within our current partnership especially amongst who claimed mild symptoms of burnout, anxiety and overall exhaustion if they see NFE tools - the combination of arts&outdoors and other complementary methods (coaching, mental first aid, trauma awareness approach) would help them to ease and tackle the negative effect of crisis trends and their helping work in general. Your Natural Element has a partnership of 10 countries: Lugar Específico(PT), Estrellas de Sur(ES), Hasat(TR), Ricdog(GE), Origó Műhely (HU), Libero Pensatore (IT),SYTEV (SL), Limbažu novada Izglītības (LV), Vilniaus Antakalnio (LU), Wiedza Powszechna (PL)<< Implementation >>Flow with your Elements project design contains the following activities: Online preparatory visit: we gather with partners to gain a detailed view of the whole project flow, to prepare organisations and youth workers for the 2 residential and 1 online training. This meeting helps them to get attuned with the blended learning journey, to identify steps to be taken in order to empower, equip and engage youth workers for the whole blended process. Briefing about ETS competences and mentoring happens there. Participants: 10 people from Partner organizations, trainers, managers, youth workers, thematic leaders, coaches, psychologists. -”Elements” the first training course:.First residential training activity is about providing self-experience and youth work practice and tool kit enrichment with the support of the Five Elements method and it’s easy-to-use tools. As part of it “LEARNING MARATHON” will be organized where we create space for youth workers for best practice exchange, to circulate knowledge & tools about resilience & well being within the partnership. The TC prepares youth workers to enroll and participate into the SALTO HOP online course in order to strengthen their digital skills and competencies and their facilitator tool kits as well. - SALTO HOP Online course about youth work resilience tools and curricula in order to design your own wellbeing workshops for youth. Participants go through a partly self-directed learning process, with online group facilitation events, 1-1 mentoring, webinars and peer leading support. (Forum). The online course is developed by the consortium of the original HEARTLAND project. The youth workers of the second TC start their learning journey with the online course and after that they participate in the “Elements” , the second training course, where they provide well-being workshops for young volunteers. The online course is developed & tailor-made by the feedbacks of participating youth workers, thus enabling a learning tool that is enjoyable to take part in, and in addition gives extra knowledge and skills development that are not available on residential courses. - “Flow”. The second residential training course provides learning opportunities for youth workers about possible wellbeing program designs for youth and facilitation experience based on the Five Elements method for the group of 20 young volunteers as an inbuilt on-the job experience. This second residential training is meant to function as a practice based on the online learning course and the Five Elements tools/method.
