The findings show that Young people express the need to socially interact with their peers in a non-virtual environment because they feel isolated and depressed due to home confinement, 98% of them want to take part in fun sports activities that will entail an element that brings them together promoting inclusion, laughter, and social integration. Their idea was supported by our partners and our 19 parents from our youth club committee (parents of the Irish group involved in this project) stated, "" ...with this Covid-19 restrictions, our children spent too many times isolated in their room and alone on their phones on the internet, some even put on weight, etc... This Eramus+ Sport project can aid in weight management while helping them to learn how to connect with real friends"" also said, ""...group fun physical activities help reduce risks of mental health issues associated with being isolated..."" On an Irish Examiner Newspapers, it was mentioned that ""Young people eating more junk food and exercising less due to Covid-19 https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40060313.htmlThe Irish Department of Health's National physical activity guidelines ""Be Well"" updated in July 2020, recommend young people to be active at least 60 minutes per day (https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/06de8b-be-well/#physical-activity-guidelines). However, due to Global Pandemic COVID-19 lockdowns, & travel restrictions most youth stayed at homes without engaging in physical activities. At the Zoom and WhatsApp interviews young people stated that they wanted their idea to have elements that will promote active citizenship; playful physical exercises, cognitive/personal development, critical thinking, concentration, Inclusion through sports, and intercultural dialogue. We believe this is in alignment with Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program objectives, and the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027. This project is an initiative of young people.- This Project seeks to bring more youngsters with fewer opportunities including those with financial difficulties, Asylum seekers, mental health difficulties, refugees, those living in isolated & disadvantaged rural areas among others in the Erasmus+ field. The project seeks to give the opportunity to the Ireland newcomers, those who cannot travel, and the undocumented the chance to participate in an EU Youth Exchange(YE). This comes as the result of our previous youth exchanges success, the youth with fewer opportunities who cannot travel (asylum seekers, refugees, etc...) due to their residential status in Ireland asked us that they wanted to attend an Eramus+ youth exchange and learn more about other EU cultures and make friends since they cannot travel.-Some young people from Ireland took part in the youth exchange ""Get Active, Get Involved"" which took place in Abovyan, Armenia in July 2018, it involved Sports activities: Cycling, Water guns teambuilding games, Swimming, Hip Hop dancing, etc... . It was in this YE they meet with the Georgians team. The Georgians became curious to know more about Ireland, culture (Irish games and Hurling in particular) and heritage, how we have embraced diversity, etc. On the other hand, the Irish participants were so much attracted to the games and sporting activities of the exchange and amazed by the locals' reaction. Both groups meet and came up with an idea to meet again with another subject to meet the needs of both groups this time in Ireland. So during the Covid-19 period, the group brought the idea to the Irish and Georgian leaders hence, we are supporting them in developing their project. The youngsters involved in developing this project include those with fewer opportunities, financial difficulties, mental health difficulties, refugees, those living in isolated & disadvantaged rural areas among others. The specific objectives are:-To bring more youngsters with fewer opportunities including those with financial difficulties, Asylum seekers, etc... those living in isolated & disadvantaged rural areas among others in the Erasmus+ field.-To raise awareness of Environmentally Friendly Sports games, and physical activities that promote social inclusion and well-being.--To promote EU values through a non-formal educational approach: youth-led, youth-centered playful sports activities that promote social inclusion.- To exchange good practices in the field of non-formal education through sports and further build up organizational capacities.- Enhance the visibility of Erasmus+ programs and help participants develop their competencies and be certified with a Youth Pass.- Strengthen young people's interpersonal skills through informal/nonformal learning methods and improve key competencies & transferable skills.<< Implementation >>We would like to implement a youth exchange that will gather 24 participants: young people aged 14-17 years from Ireland, and Georgia. Each country will bring 12 participants: two youth leaders and 10 young people including young people with fewer opportunities including those who cannot travel (asylum seekers, refugees, etc...) due to their residential status in Ireland, those of financial difficulties, mental health difficulties, refugees, those living in isolated & disadvantaged rural areas among others. The ""Inclusive Sports"" project will be 9 days including travel days Erasmus+ Youth Exchange and will take place from 1st- 9th June 2022 at the Faith Mission, Cahue. Bandon co. Cork, which is a good place for creating a comfortable place for the youngsters to learn and have fun with the proposed activities. This will increase awareness at the local level. It will also promote open-mindedness and understanding of other cultures. It will involve participants with fewer opportunities, those living in isolated rural areas, and those from a migrating background. The program will offer a platform to make new friends. Expected Regional and National Impact -Increase understanding of different cultures, Peacebuilding, a healthy lifestyle, cultural awareness for youth in Ireland and Georgia. Visibility of project through dissemination and inviting other groups to participate. We hope, this project will enable our organization and our young people to become active members of the Erasmus+ network @ the local community level. We also hope to take part in activities organized by the National Agency ""Leargas"" and share our results.-Expected European and International Level Impact -The European and International levels impact will be achieved by building stronger ties between the participating organizations, and the participants from Europe including countries in the European neighborhood. These stronger ties between the involved individuals and organizations can include the exchange of practices for mutual learning, common cooperation project to add a European dimension to the work of the stakeholders. Nowadays the distance between Europe and neighboring countries is shortened and the youth has more opportunities to be in touch with each other. Furthermore, facilitating the access of vulnerable groups in the non-formal educational process is also a primary objective of this project and for this purpose will be given particular emphasis to the full and effective acceptance of diversity, mutual understanding, and respect, and to the elimination of any stereotypes and prejudices between the participants, by cultivating a multicultural spirit. The prospect of implementing this project will also significantly boost the self-confidence of participants. It will give strength and impetus to youngsters with fewer opportunities living in Europe and Neighboring countries, to work on promoting how to live healthily and make dreams for their future. At the local, regional, national, and EU level: we expect our participants to serve as multipliers back home and to share what they have learned with their target groups of young people and volunteers from their NGOs through presentations, workshops, follow-up this non-formal education, and learning events.Throughout the project, participants will share activities pictures, make a lot of short clips on their Smartphones and blogs on various online social media platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Snap Chat, and Instagram to show their friends and family, organizations, schools, and siblings while hashtagging: #Erasmus+, #Leargas, #InclusiveSports,#loveandcareforpeople, #youthcenterofGeorgia, and @leargas, @inclusivesports, @loveandcarefor3 on www.twitter.com to reach out wider internet audience and stakeholders."

Supports the active interest of youth about tolerance, an important shift in the way to be a good citizen and educated. Young people should not be afraid of inter-cultural dialogue, which is developed during the project and facilitates mutual understanding. The present project proposal tries to “give the floor” and raise attention to the importance of social recognition of NFE. We will try to involve different stakeholders from different “layers” of the society during project activities. The overall purpose of the project is to promote a society offering lifelong learning for all by emphasizing the importance of both. It's clear that formal educational systems alone cannot respond to rapid and constant technological, social and economic changes in society, thus they should be reinforced by non-formal educational practices.Non-formal education is an integral part of a lifelong learning concept that ensures that young people and adults acquire and maintain the skills, abilities, and dispositions needed to adapt to a continuously changing environment.Project objectives are:1.To understand the importance of Non-formal education methods.2.To equip youth with skills and knowledge on how to use Non-Formal Education methodologies, approaches, and techniques.3.To show examples and encourage the implementation of non-formal education methods in formal institutes.4.To give a platform to participants to share and discuss experiences, examples, and possibilities of working towards recognition of NFE.5.To enhance the social recognition and raise the visibility of youth work, its impact on young people’s lives and its contribution to society;6.To promote European values: inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity and non-discrimination. 7.To promote Erasmus + educational opportunities. Before the actual implementation of the project, national consultations will take place in each participating country in order to see if and how is non-formal education recognized at the local level.<< Implementation >>The project “Keep learning & sharing knowledge” involves 36 participants from Sweden, Georgia, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Poland.Through different activities of NFE people can obtain experience that can be compared with traditional formal work experience and should be recognized as such. Also added values of NFE are the fact that there are opportunities at the national and international level, but it is most accessible at the grassroots level.During the implementation phase, participants will organize a workshop at the college, the aim of the workshop will be to use Nonformal methods, and the participants will create the workshop and choose the topic by themselves. Methods used, fundamentally based on the principles of NFL, help break down prejudices and fear of contact with people from other countries, teach them tolerance and also develop their personality and skills. Project participants will practice their language skills, try out their creativity and learn teamwork. Methods of work that will be used during the project, in addition, contribute to the mutual approach of different nations and religions and enable participants to new cultures clash, which opens new horizons and leaves them feeling that the moment we become part of a different culture than our own.We believe that the project will contribute to be one step to contribute to using NFE methods in formal institutes and to recognize NFE in our societies.<< Results >>Young foreign participants, the project will be beneficial on several levels. Firstly, it is encouraging to reflect on the importance of informal learning in everyday life, above its forms and any possibilities of its improvement and in the context of a comparison with alternative approaches to their peers from other European and non-European countries. These experiences participants then used to create new methods of non-formal education. Each of them had to leave the project with a sophisticated set, of the basic methods, and tools of non-formal education, which will then be able to apply in their own daily lives and in teaching others, either within other educational projects and activities. We expect that the participants will have more competence and competence in areas of Non-Formal Activities and Education Methods and creativity. Thus, when they return, they will positively influence the work of their organization, especially in terms of empowerment, innovation, creativity. They will continue to positively affect the long-term and will continue to support its societies, its peers, its environments because of their, empowering and creative minds. The impact will be also reached by daily postings of the various important elements of the project (quotes, pictures, impressions, and results) will be carried out on the platforms Instagram, and Facebook. Like this, a larger number of people can follow the project. This project will become an important stepping stone for further projects under the Erasmus + program.Impact’s added value is that the results of the project Video and digital booklet are going to be accessible online at all times, so even larger groups of young people can easily approach the project’s contents and further use and utilize them.
