"In ""Schools on the Move"" project our prior aim is to provide awareness of much healthier lifesytles in in terms of nutritional management, balanced diet, gastronomy, and sport activities for our schools and environment. Our motto is developing, applying good practices for healthy life at schools by experiencing. As young people are becoming more obese or overweight because of malnutrition and sedentary life styles all over the world and Europe this project is very essential for our students to understand the importance of healthy life style by balanced diet, and sports activities. Overweight and obesity are defined as abnormal /excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health. They are major risk factors for a number of chronic diseases, like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Acording to the surveys at least 2.8 million people each year die ( apart from considering the 2019 EU year of Rare Diseases) as a result of obesity. In Turkey the situation is also getting serious. 13,7% men and 20,9 % women in Turkey are obese. In total rate is 17%. According to the Health Ministry’s National Nutrition and Health Survey 1 out of every 5 people in Turkey are obese. We did the same survey with participant countries , we took their ranking of obesity according to the WHO and their national surveys. The results are worrying for all the participant countries taking place in the project. This project involving (TR, GR, PT, RO, ) aims to improve and promote students’ awareness towards healthier lifestyle by taking into account of eating habits and sports activities. As fast food is eaten widely all across Europe and other countries especially by the teanagers and leading sedentary and lazy lives and getting more unfit, more obese, and with an increasing tendency to become ill. In this project our prior aim is to promote healthier lifestyle by understanding nourisment information and healthy dishes for young people in every partner school. In this way each school will will gain information and experience of healthy life style from the experiences during the project and afterwards.School canteens will also adjust their foods and menus according to the project results. Students will analyse the nutrition facts about the food that they are eating, build up healthier alternatives based on their shared national favorites. While the project is ongoing they will photograph, describe and present in e book of national dishes and sport. The studentswill discover international fitness-circle based on the favorite sports/fitness exercises of the participating countries and students. The newly created exercises and their presentation in photos and descriptions created by their age group (book) and on the web shall get students interested in starting exercising."

"Despite overall European efforts to get more students in VET, to decrease the drop out rate in VET, to raise image of VET, we haven´t found the turning point that is really successful. This goes for almost all the countries, educations and colleges within VET in Europe. Despite clear agendas from national governments we still face a lack of students and graduated workers in many fields. We all want to, and have an interest in, changing this fact. We want to raise image of VET, get more students in VET, get better teaching and happier students. This project will share good practices and attack this issue from a quality perspective. The partners have chosen five actions that we will combine, complement and learn from throughout and after the project period. The overall goal is to learn from each other, share knowledge and actions and complement own findings with the findings of partners and increase our competences and be able to transform the data from quality reviews, research and action findings into the classroom. Be a better teacher, to ""make"" better students and better organisations. This benefits society as well. The five actions are: -Student's selfevaluation and combined student-teacher's evaluation -Meeting between student and teacher. Research of motivation in the classroom -Student's evaluation of education -EQUAVET as a tool for improving quality in education through student's voice -Teacher's preparation for class focused, in team and in mind map/fixed scheme & evaluation of teaching. We expect that this new approach and combination of looking into quality from different angles and perspectives, will provide us with new tools and complement the objectives of the project. Objectives of project: -Qualifying teachers to enhance better teaching -Share and test tools -Translate quality data to better teaching -Involving students in teaching and learning -Having happy, motivated students To do this we'll work with our chosen actions at our respective colleges. We will have two learning/teaching/training activities together. Participants are two steering group members from each college and two teachers. Between our meetings and at the activity meetings we work first with own issue/action at the first training activity meeting. Following this meeting we work in home college, and secondly we work with new actions from partner college. In this way we share our experiences, learn new ways of dealing with subjects, learn on own body new actions that will strenghten our quality work. Activities are teaching in class, interviewing students, perform evaluations with and between students, make observations in classroom and more. Participants are, a part from the steering group, two teachers from each participating college. The teachers will work in student classes with the given actions. They will work with the actions they know from own college, and they will work with an action from partner college. These activities take place at activity-meetings and between meetings. Our key target is students, but teachers are the target group in the methodology. The project will use socalled Action Theory to get an overview of our actions and objectives. We will work with: 1. A context analysis; characteristics of the students in the different countries; 2. Presentation of quality management system. Choose a methodology to investigate the quality of the best practices. Describe indicators of quality. 3. Identifying best practices within own college 4. Exchanging best practices with teachers from all countries adopting each other's best practice 5. Evaluate the applied best practices with students and teachers 6. Recommendations published, making presentation for participants to use. Create an online platform with all best practices and tools and a webinar. 7. Hosting a work shop and webinar We expect the following impact Students: More active in class, more motivated for education, increased fulfillment rate, happier students, better student-teacher relation. Teachers/participants:Transformation of quality data into better classroom teaching, better teaching competences, increased intercultural competences, better perception's competences, extended personal competences in a professionel frame Organisations: Enhanced quality level, better image, look at, and talk about quality in a new way Longer term benefits: Increased quality in education Increased number of happy, motivated student Increased number of students, that full fill their education Other findings will be: Better knowledge , skills and competence regarding inter/transcultural performances, both professionally and individual and for the benefit of the organisation and VET education overall. The project will, at it's best, give us tools to change the way we teach, the way student's learn and the way we organize our colleges."

The ELP consortium (Five vocational high schools in the Occitania region) initiator of this project was created one year ago to develop a reciprocal policy based on cooperation and the pooling of practices and partners and on communicationandassessment tools. Revitalizing the European ambition of each participant and initiating a synergy designed to create a network of expanded and shared partnershipwere at stakeIn the light of oursubstantial experience and expertise in our previous European projects (COMENIUS, LEONARDO and ERASMUS) wehave capitalized on a shared conclusion that there are an unfavorable socio-cultural context and a very low image of vocational education that affect school dropout and guidance. The following aimshave been reached: - Fighting school dropout, improving the employability of the beneficiaries.- Enhancing language skills.- Fighting social inequalities by encouraging the mobility of the discriminated populations.- Increasing learners’ empowerment.- Educating towards European citizenship and in return strengthening the learning of the French language among our partners.- Developing transnational exchanges between partner organizations, expanding the partnership network and developing common and cross-curricular approaches as well as teaching practices.- Internationalizing the policies of the consortium institutions. The 29 beneficiaries of the mobilities are pupils aged 16 to 20 in Première and Terminale of an industrial or tertiary BaccalauréatProfessionnel. Their mobilities lasted from 6 to 8 weeks and were part of their Professional Training Period, which is a certificative assessment for the diploma. The five vocational high schools staff (management, general and vocational teaching) made mobilities for learning, teaching, accompanying students and enlarging the partners network. The implementation of this project has been realized by:- The partnerships pooling of each member which have expanded opportunities for all (new countries, host organizations ...) and have increased mobility offers and reciprocal relationships have been developed on ETwinning.- A communication policy aimed at disseminating the outcomes and testimonials of experiences by favoring new technologies (Facebook page, Twitter, ELP website, schools’ websites ...).The organization of the mobilities:- Information campaign for families at the beginning of the2017school year.- Solicitation of the applicants for mobility, validation of their registration after assessment by the school staff (know-how, involvement).- The beneficiaries have been evaluated in a certified way (internship assessment grids) and on non-formal skills (adaptability, autonomy, involvement ...). 29 evaluations were materialized by a EUROPASS mobility and a Euromobipro certificate (Optional Mobility Unit). Both documents will be delivered during the graduation ceremony in each school. - 22 vocational high school staff members had to present aprofessional project, linked with the school project of the local institution, that have been approved directly by the head of the institution concerned to do their mobility abroad. Their missions consisted in teaching, observing and training. They have expanded the consortium's partnership network as well as the partnership in new countries. Each member had to communicate their European experience when coming back during meetings arranged at the schools’ initiative. The consortium has carried out the mobilities in 8 countries. The learners have gone to Spain and Austria mainly. The impacts expected from the mobility project and the long-term benefits are starting to emerge and have allowed to:- Developthe will for learning, improve empowerment, self-esteem.- Enhance language level through complete immersion of 6 to 8 weeks. - Reduce absenteeism and fight school dropping.- Increase further learning.- Make employability easier for the students including job opportunities abroad in their training placements.- Revitalize the institutions by the feedback of the staff’s experiences in mobility.- Improve the school climate and the image of the vocational schools.- Stimulate the exchanges of good practices.- Increase the partnership between schools and firms.- Sustain the network of European partners and ensure the reciprocity principle in the long term through the development of shared projects such as ETwinning or the work with the Education Training Firms. This first project has been successfully completed. A second one has just been submitted and approved. 240 learners and staff members mobilities will be realised allowing the consortium schools to reach a new European dimension. The importance of this project will strengthen the impacts on the whole education community.
