Insects pollinate 80 percent of the world’s 94 major food crops, from which we live. They keep our tropical rain forest blossoming, which preserves our survival. With tunnels they aerate the soil on which we grow crops, carrying nutrients down from the surface. They help to prevent erosion and floods. They decompose all waste that animals and plants produce, including our dead bodies. They eat the pests and the weeds that would destroy our harvest. They are the primary food of birds, frogs, reptiles, fish and mammals. They deliver food to us humans like honey but also as tasty snacks. They communicate with each other, they build states and kingdoms like we do under our feet, which we hardly notice. Only the species of ants alone creates more biomass than all of us humans on earth together. While we humans feel attracted by other mammals, while we awe the reptiles, while we enjoy the view of fish, we neglect insects as ugly, monstrous, alien-like creatures. We develop phobies against them, denounce them as bugs, parasites, plague, vermin. Never more!Mostar Friedensprojekt in cooperation with Aydin Youth Center was conducting two youth exchanges in April 2018 in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, and in June 2018 in Aydin,Turkey. 12 organisations from Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Egypt, Israel, Montenegro, Romania, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Estonia havel send altogether 70 participants to these exchanges.Participants did learn about the secret life of insects about the reality of global environmental balance. Youth did experience a unique learning and researching experience, has encountered with scientists, they have used methods of theater to translate their knowlegde about communication structures, fine arts and computer technology to remodel instect, they did learn to learn. And they have found, that man is as interesting a subject as ""bugs""."

Making a proper use of the topic we want to raise public awareness, related toenvironmental challenges in the European and local level, for instance, the city of Skopje, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (one of the most polluted city in the world)In January 2019 members of ""RACIO"" were part of a project called ""Sustainability of NGO's"". One of the outcomes of the project was to write 5 new projects during the training and one of the topics was referred to ""Environmental issues"" which we decided to work on it. The participants from different countries who were participating there were interested in taking part as partners and also discussing topics such as: How to protect Nature? How to decrease the pollution ? What can be our role in saving the Nature or World? How to actively participate in environmental issues ?The project aims to promote environmental inclusion and building network among youth from different countries, through youth exchange. The aim of the project also is encouraging youth how to prevent pollution, to spread the information about environmental problems to the local community. The networking and active participation is one of the most efficient processes that one organization or a person has to be involved if wants to achieve and change something.Having as its core objectives:- To provide participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes on the inclusion of young people in activities which are connected to environmental issues;- To share experience and examples of good and bad practices by methods of non-formal education and learning from each other;- The purpose of this project is to make awareness of youth about pollution;- To find ways how to solve environmental problems in each country;- To spread the information among young people how to prevent pollution ;- To share opinions, approaches, experience, and information on environmental situation and issues among participating countries;- Promoting healthy lifestyle activities for young people, in terms of environmental protection;- Increasing the awareness about environmental pollution and its effect on our health;- Empower young people in active citizenship taking responsibility in their countries and participating in the decision-making process regarding the protection of the environment;- To give young people an example of cooperation on the international level and encourage them to undertake similar activities in the future;<< Activities >>Main principle and methodology during the deployment of this action will be the norms of non formal education. Thus, participants of this project will be rendered receptors of applicable actions, whichare promoting entrepreneurship between young people.Participants will be introduced to new methods of learning. They are coming from different cultural backgrounds, with different aspects of daily life. It will be pursued, a sharing environment for their knowledge through experiential learning, fine arts, and creativity. Some of our participants are living in remote areas (countryside), facing geographical and social inclusion obstacles, thus they are living in an environment with fewer opportunities. By gathering youth from different countries together to discuss and to share their experience, ideas and work together to become a source which will disseminate gained information in their community, the project will support the integration of youngsters from different background, nations and culture. Cross-cultural learning and dialogue between the participants from different countries, will beimplemented with a view to promote mutual understanding and tolerance. The participants' interests will be met during this project. This will be done through an extended consultation during the preparatory period of the project. The methods which will be deployed are non - formal educational methods, as peer to peer learning, role-playing, outdoor activities and experiential learning, through art workshops and constructions.37 youth leaders and workers from Lithuania, Romania, Czech Republic, France, Greece, UK and Macedonia will cooperate through different art workshops to achieve one common goal. The main objective of the project is to draw attention to the problem of maintaining a clean environment. During these 7 days of youth exchange, participants will have the chance to discuss current issues, share ideas how to preserve environment clean, to simulate simple steps that will help towards reducing the impact of negative factors, which is caused by counterfeiting of secondary raw materials.Participants of this youth exchange will be between 18 - 30 years old and the leaders will be +18 years old.<< Impact >>We expect that this project will add cumulative value to our group of youth workers, as well as to our partners from abroad. It is important to mention that the existing differences between countries were taken into consideration. This means that not only cultural features were considered, but also information provided by the qualitative results of the consultation process. The impact on participants (37 youths) who will take part in this Youth Exchange will be the most relevant one, as they will acquire new skills, will develop new competencies; apart from the impactthat the YE will have on them directly, when the activity will take place, by interacting in an intercultural context, by experiencing a different learning environment, the impact will be sustainable as they will implement in their local communities their new competencies and abilities by organizing different community-based activities;• Improving English language skills (by practicing, speaking, and writing exercises in English during the days of YE);• Improving social skills (by interacting with participants from different European and non-European countries and from different social classes);• Increased confidence and self-esteem (through teamwork and presentation skills in front of an audience);• Improve knowledge of partner countries and their culture;• Enhancing motivation for investment in knowledge;• Self-awareness, knowing each other, teamwork, critical thinking, thinking out of the box;• Increased interest in cross-curricular approaches;• Increasing tolerance and mutual acceptance;• Developing aesthetic sense and respect for quality;• Elimination of prejudices and xenophobia;• Spirit of fair -play in the context of European citizenship;• Improving cooperation between organizations.Concerning participation in focus groups, individuals will be willing to explain their international mobility experience and provide good local or national initiatives and practices. This project has adopted the positive effects of non- formal education, such as personal development, acquisition or enhancement of social and intercultural competences, increase sensitiveness into employability andentrepreneurial sectors, increased international cooperation and international dialogue.''SEITAC'' project will introduce possible alternatives to ''Global Warming'' problem, whilst it will create the background for an open consultation towards maintaining a clean environment. The participants will learn this useful knowledge in order to promote the project's outcomes and disseminate the severe environmental impacts of ''Global Warming'', to a public issue."

Within the project the space for intercultural dialogue was created, which was an opportunity to exchange and experience different concepts and obstacles of the above-mentioned topics and how young people can overcome them. Therefore the aim of the training was to raise a level of participation of young people, learn from each other and exchange best practice examples. The participants came from different cultural and political backgrounds which made the exchange of ideas extremely interesting. The activities during the training helped the participants to get new essential skills for breaking the stereotypes about other cultures and create a positive atmosphere of common understanding, tolerance, diversity, united Europe; additionally raise sense of confidence and become active citizens in order to take an important role for positive changes in their communities. The participants have been involved in practical workshops-including: forum theatre, discussion, also they worked in groups and individually to develop their skills and later they have been able to evaluate the process. The beginning of the TC mainly implied teambuilding activities and ice-breaking games. The rest days have been particularly focused on forum theatre techniques, discussions, specific sessions about the European citizenship and exchanges of ideas. We have organized national evening for each country, where all of the participants have been able to present their culture and traditions. Furthmore, we had Erasmus+ presentation, so that the participants find out all of the opportunities provided by it and become more motivated to involve in Erasmus+ more actively. We did issue Youthpass for the participants. To sum up the project, we had a final evaluation. The TC took place in Georgia, Tbilisi 01. -08.10.2014.The working methods for this project were based on the principles of non-formal learning and we will work based on David A. Kolb's experiental learning. The different working sessions did include discussions, group work, role plays and simulations. There has been always a debriefing. The participants could actively participate. Included countries have been Germany, Poland, Georgia, Romania, Armenia, Croatia, Italy and Turkey."
