Every country has its own stories, eposes, that, basically, describe national history in some kind of artistic way. That means it indeed is a good possibility for one to immerse into a completely unknown origin without the necessity of reading traditional info-sources. But, unfortunately, modern generations, especially young people, tend to forget these simple basics.Secret Library took place in the city of Tallinn, Estonia, during the March 2015 from 12th to 21th. 35 youngsters from all over the Europe - Estonia, Croatia, France, Lithuania, Hungary, Spain and Macedonia - who lack international experience and are eager for new discoveries spent 10 days together trying to get to know other cultures through long forgotten way - storytelling. Project gathered different type of people, starting off with those, who have no experience, and those, who have already gotten a chance to participate in such projects, with youngsters who have some kind of social difficulties. This atmosphere underlined one of the very main principles of European Unity, which is equality among the people. Due to the programme saturated with all kinds of activities that imply interaction with others, project diminished passive listening and boredom by itself. Group discussions, workshops, simulation exercises and role plays brought active communication and collaboration to the completely different level.By the end of the project, with all the stories presented by participants, we organised an event on international Storytelling day. People were invited to watch our presentation of results. It let us disseminate the outcomes of non-formal and informal education, as well as promote Erasmus+ programme with its priorities and objectives, to inspire guests and spread the word among the people. All things considered, Secret Library provided a ground needed for people to meet each other, heavily increase knowledge about European countries and its structures as well as improve own skills and overcome fears for better employability in the future.

Terrasini is a town located a few kilometers from Palermo. It is an evocative place with a naturalistic, historical and monumental heritage of important importance. Through the realization of the activities, knowledge of the European cultural tradition and art as a tool for aggregation and knowledge have been promoted; the use of artistic and expressive languages in the educational processes of young people has been enhanced; integration and social inclusion have been promoted. Were involved 30 participants, of which 25 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 and 5 group leaders. They were guys with attitudes and/or artistic skills. In each organisation was involved a young with fewer opportunities. On April 7 and 8, 2017 the preliminary visit took place at the headquarters of the association ‘a Strùmmula, located in Carini. During the visit, organizations, have set the guidelines for the preparation of the preparatory course addressed to the participants, preparatory to the exchange, they shared criteria and logistical aspects related to the selection of participants, to the trip and to the conditions of security and protection of the participants. They defined roles and responsibilities of each organization and internal communication tools, and then, above all, they were able to share the planning of the exchange days. After the preliminary visit, the preparatory course was held in each of the countries involved in the project. It also aimed to stimulate and lead participants, to the realization of an artistic product to be presented during the first day of the exchange, that it were able to represent the culture of his country of origin. During the exchange the participants were able to experiment express yourself every day, through a different art form: painting, dance, theater, music, photo, sculpture, cinema and kitchen, the eighth art form chosen as a symbol of aggregation and sharing. Each type of art, has also allowed to focus on a particular theme. Each type of art, has also allowed to focus on a particular theme, that is, painting, for example, on the theme of citizenship, music on the theme of freedom, sculpture on the theme of ecology. The theater has allowed us to focus our attention on the theme of migration and European awareness. The theme of photography was multiculturalism, that of dance were the stereotypes, the cinema was the sharing and the theme of cooking was culture. To judge the works, 11 jurors, including professionals, fans of various forms of art and representatives of the municipal administration of Terrasini. The impact on the development processes of the young participants was positive, as emerged from the participants themselves during the moments of self-assessment in which they were stimulated and encouraged to reflect and to express the skills acquired and/ or strengthened during their involvement in the activities. The ability to understand the other's point of view, the ability to listen, to analyze contents and proposals, to resolve conflicts, to create creative skills, to renegotiate and to cooperate, artistic skills and organizational skills, are some of the strengthened skills during the activities. The participants enriched their knowledge on the Erasmus + program and strengthened their awareness of the history of Europe, on the role that art and culture played in building community identity and the traditions of the countries involved in the project. The organizations involved in the project, as emerged during the moments of self-assessment, have been able to strengthen their organizational skills, cooperatives and training, experimenting with their methodologies and knowing and acquiring new ones. Organizations will benefit from the growth processes of their participants, in that, the adoption of a methodological system that favored the participation and the direct involvement of the participants will contribute to trigger the processes of capacitation which will result the diffusion of these values, the revival and re-launching of interest in the issues addressed in the project, in their own countries. It is also hoped for that stimuli proposed by the project, produce in other target groups, the desire to carry out other projects with similar themes; that local institutions elaborate measures and / or institutional initiatives to support youth mobility activities; that the local realities of the third sector propose similar projects and / or initiatives to promote youth participation; And the local community will receive benefits in terms of increased community spirit and active citizenship.
