The number of international migrants has increased by 49 per cent since 2000 to 258 million in 2017, according to a report published by the United Nations for International Day of Migration. This issue has increased the demand for the basic needs of newly arrived refugees and provision of these needs. Lack of informative, educational, and supportive tools have made refugees less likely to seek remedy for health, follow advice from the authorities to find official employment. In addition, lack of language skills has created another barrier for newly arrived refugees to understand bureaucratic procedures to integrate into society. CORES project addressed those issues by working with adult education providers in different program countries to ease the burden of refugees’ crises left on governments in EU; to contribute the newly arrived and host society mutual acceptance. In this CORES, firstly, examined social harmony within the Program countries. As a result, a situational and needs analysis reports were developed. Based on the findings of the analysis reports, Charter of Common Refugee Strategies were developed at the European Union level, which considered local dynamics and values for each partner country. CORES aimed to develop tools (online learning platform) for professionals working in the field of adult education to use during their practices. Thus, an online learning platform was created using the information contained in this charter to be used by the adult education providers as informative, educational, and supportive material in electronic format. The Project has had various contributions, effects and impacts in many ways for participants, participating organizations, target groups and other relevant stakeholders. However, the pandemic conditions have direct effect on measuring the overall impact of the project proposal on participants, participating organizations, target groups and other relevant stakeholders. As a result, the CORES project directly contributed to Commission's horizontal priority which is social inclusion. In particular, one of the main priorities was to contribute to the successful management of immigration at the European Level which would be a key to success for a wealthy life and future by developing an innovative and inclusive tool for the target groups. Therefore, the products of this project will lead to successful social inclusion of refugees, migrants (newcomers) in terms of social harmony, mutual acceptance and skills tailored to the needs of the marketplace.

European education and training systems continue to fall short in providing the right skills for employability, and are not working adequately with business or employers to bring the learning experience closer to the reality of the working environment. These skills mismatches are a growing concern for European industry's competitiveness (Industrial Policy Communication Update COM, 2012, p:582 ). By 2020, 20% more jobs will require higher level skills. Education needs to drive up both standards and levels of achievement to match this demand, as well as encourage the transversal skills needed to ensure young people are able to be entrepreneurial and adapt to the increasingly inevitable changes in the labour market during their career. The scope and pace of reforms needs to be scaled up so high quality skills can support both growth and jobs (EU Commission Rethinking Education: Investing in skills for better socio-economic outcomes, 2012, p:2). Skills mismatch refers to a discrepancy between the demand and supply of skills on the labour market. In other words a situation in which the skills sought by employers are different from the skills offered by job-seekers or workers. In order to achieve excellence in VET, curricula must be systematically renewed, delivery must be constantly modernized and businesses, especially SMEs, must be actively involved. VET must be able to react to the demand for advanced vocational skills, tailored to the regional economic context. Within this context given, this project aims to develop a platform through which vocational education systems and the labour market, especially the SMEs, communicate interactively, while one side voting for/valuing the skills they need and the other side, that's the vocational systems answers by updating the current curriculum. Also, the training content developed on skills analysis and mapping through the ECVET Skills Platform is considered to serve the quality of vocational education and training systems, giving the experts responsible for teaching technical skills the mission of teaching also the personal and conceptual skills.Target group of the project is vocational education and training institutions, teachers/trainers in VET, SMEs, employers, decision makers, non-governmental organizations and trainees. It aims at creating a channel among the members of the target group to keep them updated about the needs and requirements of the firms and the provided skills at educational institutions. During the project, the first step will be to identify qualifications of CNC Machining according to EQF as Level 4. Then, secondly, defining the expectations of the firms will be taken together with the opinions of technical teachers. In this context, ideas and expectations from firms and individuals in decision-making positions in the labour market will be gathered and a list of the necessary skills required will be established. Then, with ECVET Skills platform that will be installed on the internet, a ranking of importance will be listed by firms. This is the most innovative part of the project. Following this, the training curriculum in vocational high schools for CNC Manchine will be renewed and/or developed in order to ensure the most needed top ten skills. Trainers will be trained on this platform and will be informed about how they should implement their education. Then, hese trainers will apply the top ten skill-building training curricula on the qualification list from the digital platform. The students and teachers will be able to access into the videos and teaching materials on the platform and assess their own learning with the rubric provided. Therefore, they will have higher self-esteem in terms of qualifications and the market can be more satisfied in with hiring more qualified employers. On the other hand, top ten skill lists created by firms; and all teaching materials and videos created in a dynamic fashion can be downloaded openly to all individuals in order to ensure that the created platform reaches wider population. Thus, as students, teachers, and trainers easily access these information, the widespread impact of the platform will be increased.Establishing a vocational education and training curriculum and extensive content by using an online web portal to develop a system for skills and qualifications that are supposed to be based on the needs of the labour markets is the innovative wall of the project. One of the pioneering innovative elements will be enabling countries to obtain the skill ranking of CNC machining. The proposed web portal can be seen as one of the most key innovations of the project, since it will be accessible by all related stakeholders.

This situation needs to be reversed. One of the most promising ways to achieve that is through entrepreneurship. Within the economic crisis and the endless discussions about the formula on how to get out of it, there is a new trend that brings optimism. """Education institutions should be encouraged to become more entrepreneurial in their wider approach, to ensure that they develop and live a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation through their missions, leadership, stakeholder engagement, curricula and learning outcomes."" (European Commission, Entrepreneurship 2020 Action plan). Promoting early entrepreneurial mind-set in education is one of the most important missions in Europe 2020. The entrepreneurial culture must be practiced and experienced through experimental learning and through opening schools to the wider community. The EN.GA.G.E. project fits into changing contexts and it aims at contributing to rethink education, showing that small changes are possible and can make a big impact on the whole educational community. However, to ignite Primary and Secondary students’ ‘entrepreneurial spark’ (Entrepreneurship Education - A Guide for Educators by European Commission 2014), it is crucial to provide teachers with an adequate training aimed at promoting entrepreneurial education (EE) is crucial. In fact, this plays a key role in rethinking approaches to Teaching and choosing the appropriate strategies and methodologies needed to: - strengthen the teaching profession;- maximize students’ potential;- contribute to the experimentation of innovative didactic programmes. The project activities carried out during the project's lifetime had the ambitious and primary goal to contribute significantly to promoting an entrepreneurial culture in schools. The acquisition/development of those competencies needed for turning ideas into action, entails the experimentation of an innovative methodology based on the production, documentation and promotion of entrepreneurial activities in schools. In fact, such promotion involves a deep change in building new forms of collaboration within the local community. EN.GA.G.E. contributes to overcome such big challenge creating and developing an international network focused on EE where different stakeholders across Europe (schools, entrepreneurs, public/private institutions) have a very active role. This is one of the most significant results achieved by the EN.GA.G.E. project. EN.GA.G.E. reached the following beneficiaries:1.Teachers, Staff and students across Europe (inside and outside your partnership)2.Experts and Researchers working in the field of education and training (inside and outside your partnership)3.Entrepreneurs and decision makers 4.Local communities (families, media, organizations) The Effective collaboration allowed all the 8 project partners (each Country is represented by a School and a Technical Partner) the achievement of the project results, in line with the Project Proposal: •Study/research on game-based entrepreneurial learning methodologies across Europe - IO1•Design, realization and test of two EN.GA.G.E. digital games for entrepreneurial education (Primary/Secondary schools) – IO2The functional activities carried out during the project implementation played a fundamental in the achievement of results. Both the Transnational Project Meetings and the 4 teacher training activities (LTTAs) supported the project implementation and contributed to achieve the main goal: the creation of a European network for the promotion of EE.The dissemination and valorisation activities supported he Consortium to reach the stakeholders. The feedback from all the associated partners across Europe have shown an interested towards the EE but also the will to continue working on the topic even after the end of the EU fundingEN.GA.G.E. had a significant impact in terms of: - development of the school staff’s personal and professional competencies - strengthening the school staff’s skills and ability in creating entrepreneurial paths through cross curricular activities and workshops - acquisition/development of the entrepreneurial competencies of the Primary and Secondary students involved in the project - promoting an entrepreneurial culture in schools- fostering an increasing interest in the local community to join the EN.GA.G.E. network - providing schools across Europe with practice-based guidance and digital tools."
