<< Background >>The European cooperation project SURE gathers 5 partners from 4 different countries Agence LUCIE and CO-ACTIONS (France) POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ (Belgium), CCI de VRATSA (Bulgaria), ARIS FORMAZIONE E RICERCA (Italy). This consortium aims to develop educational resources on CSR and green skills to train vocational educators who work in the field of ifreelance entrepreneurship. We all know that climate change and environmental degradation have and will have a significant impact on the world of work. With the Green Pact, the European Union has set itself the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The Green Deal aims to make the EU economy sustainable. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the implementation of sustainable development by companies. A company that practices CSR will seek to have a positive impact on society, to respect the environment while being economically viable. Green skills are therefore naturally integrated into the CSR approach which applies to the different roles of the company: logistics, purchasing policy, travel plans, investments, etc. The benefits of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are now widely recognized: according to France Stratégie, it allows companies to gain 13% in performance compared to companies that do not integrate it, especially when it is an unconstrained initiative. CSR translates into transparent and ethical behavior that must : - contribute to sustainable development including the health and well-being of society; - take into account the expectations of stakeholders; - respect current laws and be compatible with international standards; - be integrated throughout the organization and implemented in its relationships. There is therefore a strong challenge to combine the economic project of companies and training in ecological issues. We know that there are strategies and tools that can be easily adopted by companies. However, when we analyze the situation of individual entrepreneurs, we identify that sustainable practices are not obvious at first glance and that there are very few training courses, resources, guides and support tools in this area. The observation is that still too few individual entrepreneurs make the conscious choice to consider the development of their activity by taking into account ecological and sustainable issues. Some are aware of this but do not know what methodology to use, how to equip themselves and what room for maneuver they have. As part of the pre-project diagnosis carried out prior to the application, the partners identified that whatever the individual entrepreneurial activity, be it goods or services, it is systematically possible to adopt a development strategy that takes CSR into account. It is the balance between the economic, social and environmental dimensions that can constitute sustainable entrepreneurship. The SURE consortium has identified a real lack of educational resources for professional trainers targeted at CSR for freelance entrepreneurs. Trainers need to develop their green and CSR skills to train and support freelance entrepreneurs. Training is a powerful and necessary tool to raise awareness on the topic of ecological transition and its impacts, both economic, environmental and social.<< Objectives >>The concrete objectives targeted by the partners in the framework of the cooperation are1. to raise awareness among the ecosystem of business creation support and political decision-makers of the challenges of integrating sustainable development objectives into the development of individual businesses 2. train educators in CSR to enable entrepreneurs to integrate sustainable and responsible practices to develop their businesses 3. design cross-cutting tools to assess and develop sustainable and responsible practices among VET learners 4. to develop multimodal training content on the theme of ecological transition that is accessible to all. A transversal objective of the project will be to develop digital skills for trainers. Despite the plurality of existing tools, multimodal training requires specific skills that are indispensable. The partners have identified a challenge of high digital accessibility.<< Implementation >>METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES Work on the production of the evaluation tool for responsible and sustainable practices (RESULT 1). By finely updating, from the very first weeks of the project, the needs identified during the pre-project diagnosis (measuring the evolution of the context in particular), this will enable the partners to design a qualitative and innovative tool. An essential and founding element will be to work on a common lexical field concerning the concepts approached for the trainers. The consortium will involve representatives of trainers from different training organizations as well as from business creation support organizations.TRAINING ENGINEERING ON GREEN SKILLS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR INDIVIDUAL ENTREPRENEURS In this phase, the partners will provide the design and implementation of the training toolbox (RESULT 2). This pedagogical resource will allow for the cultivation, sensitization and training of educators on the theme of ecological transition and sustainable development. CSR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIPIn this phase, the partners will work on the production of the White Paper on sustainable practices in individual entrepreneurship (RESULT 3). Throughout the project and the construction of the results, data will have been collected to feed and enrich the ongoing analysis for the realization of this 3rd and final deliverable of the project. TRAINING ACTIVITYDuring the project, a training activity will be organized in Perugia, Italy, hosted by ARIS FORMAZIONE. It will aim at training trainers on digital tools and multimodal training methodology that can be used in the delivery of training based on RESULT 1 and RESULT 2. This training will be an important activity for the appropriation and dissemination of the tools. In addition, the project will include: - Coordination activities: 6 transnational coordination meetings approximately every 6 months. These meetings of the project steering committee will be organized to review the development of the project and provide an additional communication opportunity to the 5 partners. - Dissemination activities 4 national multiplier events in France, Italy, Bulgaria, and one international event in Belgium to maximize the dissemination of the project results- Ongoing monitoring, evaluation and dissemination activities to be carried out in all phases of the project.<< Results >>Within the framework of the SURE project, two levels of results are expected: tangible results, i.e. the benefits of the project that will be easily evaluated and quantified, and intangible results, i.e. the benefits that will induce a positive change that is less easily measured. The tangible results (deliverables) targeted - RESULT 1 the design of a tool to evaluate responsible and sustainable practices in individual entrepreneurship (with experimentation during the project) - RESULT 2 the design of a training toolbox on sustainable development (training of trainers session implemented during the project)- RESULT 3 publication of recommendations through a white paper on Corporate Social Responsibility related to individual entrepreneurship on the theme of green skills The other results and effects targeted- participation in a European-wide project that will contribute to adapting practices and contributing to the fight against climate change for a sustainable society - the implementation, during the project, of the green skills acquired in an action training approach- the deployment of European mobility of the staff of the partner organizations and the participants in the project- the development of the inter-knowledge of the partners, their organizations and their respective cultures- the development of the influence of the partner organizations at all territorial levels, from the local to the European level - the awareness of the environmental and social stakes of the fight against climate change by training professionals, political decision makers and beyond- the promotion of the Erasmus+ program and its opportunities to a wide range of stakeholders: the teams of the partner organizations (whether operational teams or governance), the educators participating in the project, the local/regional/national partners of the consortium membersMore broadly, these results will - support the training of professional trainers in Social and Environmental Responsibility so that they can accompany individual companies in adopting sustainable and responsible practices - accelerate the ecological transition within the consortium members' and project participants' organizations- Contribute to an economic paradigm shift so that individual businesses integrate social and environmental issues into their economic activities- to develop the creation of synergies between different European organizations of continuing vocational training- position the acquisition of green skills and sustainable and responsible practices as levers for business development and change of scale - to reinforce the feeling of European belonging of workers in continuing vocational training with the challenge of making them aware of the wealth of European cooperation and mobility.

<< Background >>According to the EU Regulation on establishing the framework for achieving climate neutrality (COM(2020) 80 final), “Achieving climate neutrality should require a contribution from all economic sectors. In light of the importance of energy production and consumption on greenhouse gas emissions, the transition to a sustainable, affordable and secure energy system relying on a well-functioning internal energy market is essential. The digital transformation, technological innovation, and research and development are also important drivers for achieving the climate-neutrality objective”. The digital transformation of working methods is a phenomenon that has been going around since years, but the Covid-19 crisis has accelerated it considerably. Some organisations, both private and public, believe that they have gained up to 10-15 years in this area in the last few months compared to the 'normal time'. Those changes are not only faster. They have also taken new orientations following the health crisis. Companies, for example, have announced that teleworking has started to become the 'the norm', not the 'exception'. More reasonably, the vast majority of organisations now seem to be moving towards a hybrid form mixing face-to-face and remote work, with middle ways still to be defined, and using more flexible work forces. The hypothesis of this project is that it is possible and desirable to guide these new middle ways (balances) by integrating the sustainability component, to contribute in achieving the ambition of Climate Neutrality change set by the EU for 2050. New digital solutions can support the move towards this direction.HR directors and HR managers have not been at the forefront in tackling environmental challenges related to the everyday ways of working (WoW). Within organisations, whether they are in the public or private sphere, this challenge should be taken on by the leadership, including HR directors and HR managers, by empowering them about the issue and subsequently putting them in the driver seat in tackling the environmental challenges in their area of operation and contributing thereby to the “Planet” bottom line.<< Objectives >>NWoW4Net-Zero project aims to position HR leaders as key actors in contributing to the ‘Planet' bottom line, by giving them concrete levers for action to drive the transition in their field of intervention: the new ways of working (NWoW). This innovative approach connects the evolution in working methods and human resources management to the objective of carbon neutrality, by integrating the contributions of digital technology and clean mobility. The project NWoW4Net-Zero goal is to leverage the new ways of working, workplaces, and organisations resulting from increased use of digital solutions as a way to contribute to the EU carbon-neutrality ambition, through a « tool-box » and a training dedicated to HR Managers and Professionals. The concrete objectives of the project are to: - Highlight the impact that work organisations and ways of working can have on carbon neutrality; - Draw good practices in place in companies from inspiring tools and devices to deploy new work organisations moving towards Sustainable development; - Develop three specific toolkits outlining HR practices for workplace transformation taking into account the ambition of Climate Neutrality, and describing available tools to increase the competencies of HR managers to incorporate changes in their organisations; - Develop training path for training and upskilling HR Managers on how to activate the levers by which the methods and work can benefit from the increased use of digital solutions and can contribute to the ambition of EU climate neutrality; - Develop methodology and training for impact analysis of the knowledge of the NWoW on companies, the community and the environment; and - Develop an interactive and lucid platform for sharing knowledge, tools, methodologies about the topic; and - Inspire/encourage higher and adult-education institutions to adapt their HR Management programs towards sustainable digitalisation and digital skills development<< Implementation >>For reaching these objectives, the partnership of project NWoW4Net-Zero made out of 2 think-and-do centers, one University, one European network of HR professionals, and one research center, foresees 4 project results; 4 transnational project meetings, one Learning and Training Activity, 4 Multiplier events and 1 International conference.<< Results >>NWoW4Net-Zero project has 4 project results.NWoW4Net-Zero toolkits - three toolkits covering: •Hybrid work : what forms of hybridity exist between ‘office-based work’ and ‘remote working’ can best contribute to a positive environmental impact, and under which conditions, while taking into account - for instance - gender/ diversity dimensions and work-life balance aspects? •Work-related mobility : what work methodologies and what digital solutions can contribute to reducing travel and positively impacting carbon footprint? •Sustainable digital : how can organisations reduce carbon footprint through more efficient use of digital technologies at work and in remote work, taking into account - as much as possible - the carbon footprint of data and technology use?NWoW4Net-Zero methodology and training paths for customised learning experience to the needs of the individual learners and his/her oranisation;NWoW4Net-Zero impact tool - impact methodology and user guide and templates for learning how to approach the quantification of the impact of NWoW practices on the NWoW4Net-Zero e-learning platfrom to provide open access to project results (toolkits, mapping, training paths and impact tool) and an interactive environment in which users can easily learn and get information and knowledge about the New Ways of Working and how they can be introduced in organisations through the HR position.

In the context of the COVID crisis, but also in a world where digital technology occupies an increasingly important place, we are led to imagine new routes for players in the cultural sector and in the adult training sector, but we are not all equal when it comes to these tools.Working during this period of crisis requires us to master a hybrid environment, on site and in virtual form. Not only to use the tools and to have access to them, but also to be able to carry out activities by adapting our modes of action and relationship to overcome the limitations of online and remote work.We therefore wish to work together on the question of how to form a community at a time of the isolation generated by this crisis, and thus allow cultural actors, actors of training or ordinary citizens to share their history, their knowledge, their environment and their heritage. The HOPE in US project aims to strengthen cooperation between the sectors of culture and adult education by creating a virtual third place.Confidence, benevolence, non-judgment and respect for cultural rights are the basis of this project. Thanks to it, we develop in learners their ability to give meaning to their actions, to become responsible for what they can change and to be resilient in the face of what they cannot avoid. We are 5 partners associated with the project from Belgium, Spain and France and we contribute in our activities to one or more European priorities such as social inclusion, digital innovation, civic engagement, creativity and culture .We have defined together 3 main work objectives:- Conceive new methods of creation / dissemination / mediation for players of European arts and culture- Invent interactive teaching formats for adult education stakeholders- Make learners' skills explicit and make their creative potential visibleTo achieve these goals, we have decided to create two innovative educational resources:- a toolbox that will allow you to experiment and learn how to be resilient, as well as to train and use digital technology. Each user can use all or part of the tools offered to meet their needs or the needs of the groups they support.- a Web TV which will be a virtual third-place for following and creating different programs. It will be designed as a meeting place between users, a visibility platform for cultural players, a place for the exchange of ideas, practices, knowledge, a place for training, online workshops.Adult learners from the different countries of the partnership will be involved throughout our project in order to build these digital resources for and with them. This co-construction, in which social service students will also be associated, will help to change the way we look at these people and to recognize them in their wealth, their creative potential, their innate talents.Accessible online, our productions can be used throughout the European Union, well beyond the field of adult education. The project will have an impact on the education and training system, as it aims to improve training systems in the adult education sector and more broadly in supporting this audience. The place given to the artistic creation sector will help learners and professionals to acquire transversal and digital skills and competences, contributing to reinforce creativity in education. Thanks to this project, we want to stimulate the innovative and creative potential of all, of course contributing to the resilience of the cultural and creative sectors, but also to creating hope and a feeling of European belonging.

"ReSolution Project""Innovative education and training to develop (re)mobilisation of people far away from employment""CONTEXTIn the European Union (EU), people far away from employment constitute a heterogeneous group in the population, aged from 15 to 64 and their socio-professional integration remains a major issue. In the same way, a large number of structures of occupational integration and training in Europe point out the fact that the public far from labour market is increasingly difficult to mobilise because highly disconnected from the network services able to support them. The project partners from 5 countries of the European Union encounter these same problems in yet different environments : in France, calls for projects on the identification of «invisible» audiences are launched by the state while few innovations on the subject have been recorded. In Italy and Spain, the limited use of socio-professional information spaces by the public questions as well as the volatility of young people with difficulty of integration. In Belgium, people who are distant from employment remain difficult to mobilize, especially in the Brussels and Wallonia regions. In Hungary, the context of economic recovery induces strong recruitment needs in enterprises while a large proportion of the population (Roma) is unemployed and difficult to mobilise.OBJECTIVESThe resolution partners propose to implement a transnational cooperation project on innovative training schemes for a positive (re)mobilization of people far away from employmentThe objectives are the followings :- Enable professionals to acquire new approaches/practices in terms of (re)mobilisation of the public, transferable in the countries involved and in other non-project countries;- Strengthening cooperation between training and socio-professional integration actors. For this purpose, the project proposes the development of several free digital resources for insertion professionals. The subject treated in these digital resources will be : identification methods of publics far away from labour market and innovation in positive remobilisation.PROFILE AND NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS- 40 referents, experts and insertion professionals mobilized to build tools within the 7 resolution partner structures;- 100 professionals from other integration structures mobilized to test the tools;- 225 managers of structures, integration networks, professionals and funders informed of the results of the project;ACTIVITIES AND METHODOLOGYFour intellectual productions will be produced through an open access digital platform: a toolbox of innovative practices in the area of positive remobilization of people away from employment; a training tutorial ; a dedicated MOOC; an evaluation report providing recommendations for using the created tools. The construction of the tools will be based on internal and external testing. For the external testing phase, they will be carried out by insertion professionals not directly involved in the project, as well as members of the international network Cités des Métiers. The dissemination of intellectual productions will take place through five national mid-term events, an international seminar and a final conference in Brussels.EXPECTED RESULTS AND IMPACTS1- The use of the project tools by at least 20 structures of social and occupational integration2- A minimum of 80% of professionals expressing new skills as a result of the tools testing 3- 8 indirect funding actors in integration field informed and open to support the tools dissemination.4- Transnational collaboration between committed and post-project partnersOverall, the expected impact of the project is the appropriation of the created digital platform by more equipped national and European integration networks and integration professionals on issues of public mobilization.LONG-TERM BENEFITSThe long-term benefits sought are: an adaptation of the integration training offer, with new and easily accessible online content; People far away from employment better addressed and connected to existing offerings in each country."
