Social Media Savvy (SMS)Because somebody grows up being a social media native, that doesn’t make them an expert in using social media at work or getting a job, this partnership has made it easier to find ways to progress into work. The project Social Media Savvy has taken young people on a interactive and challenging journey of social media creativity, enhancing their digital skills, personal branding and presentation skills through SMS Days and pilot actions with workshops and discussions. Almost all ‘SMS Products’ have been developed by young people, with young people and for young people. We started our project with producing our Social Media Study analysis. Prior to preparing the Country Reports we created a template. This template was formally agreed by the partnership. We then collected the answers using the template and provided information regarding the use of social media for the young jobseeker. The SMS Partnership has created, with young people for young people, the following deliverables:1.Beautiful SMS logo: We experimented with different logos and tested one in the initial stages of the project. We reviewed and revised the logo (following advice from young people), in agreement with all partners at the beginning of January 2019. The updated logo is fresher and more relevant to the information and guidance we will provide in relationship to the social media platforms -Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. The old logo was more relevant for Snapchat and Reddit (which we have not really used in the project to date): Our study analysis made clear that these were not the platforms we would focus on. So, therefore, we had to change the initial logo and use the new one.We have produced extensive Social Media Country Reports with all the data we need for a global picture of the size of social media, the social media services of the labour market institutions, statistics regarding youth unemployment, early school leavers, NEETs, labour market and youth employment approaches in the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Spain: 2.Social Media Savvy Country Report United Kingdom3.Social Media Savvy Country Report Netherlands4.Social Media Savvy Country Report Spain5.Created and produced an SMS Workshop on “ How to use your mobile phone for presenting yourself professionally and social media savvy for your job search. "The employment situation for young people in Europe remains very worrying, especially for young NEETs. Many initiatives exist and it is important that the actors involved in these actions can exchange, meet and work together for better integration into the labor market. The NetMe-In project guideline is organized around 3 elements:-Professional Social Networks (PSN) and the management of one's own digital professional identity are keys to entering the labor market.-Acquisition of knowledge informally or non-formally allows to become familiar with the new opportunities of web 2.0 and builds self-confidence and commitment.-Building support networks in the territories and in Europe with all the actors in the field is essential to better support young people in their ""Pathway to employment"".NetMe-In is a continuation of the European project AcroJump which had already initiated the work on the valorisation of the informal experiences for low-skilled young people on social networks. This public was one of the ""targets"" of NetMe-in, as well as the actors of the accompaniment (teachers, trainers, actors of the orientation, the access to employment ...) and the actors of the economic world (recruiters, actors of the social economy, ...)With a consortium of 10 partners from 6 different countries (France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and Croatia: FREREF, University of South Brittany, the International Network of Cités des Métiers, FUEIB, Sophia R&I, CEIS, Stichting Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work, Bogazici University Llifelong Learning Center, Cistoca and Technica Skola School in Karlovac). The project had the following objectives:-The construction of local accompaniment networks (LAN), which were then combined to create a European network (e-CoPAc)-The development of Knowledge Building Caps (KBC) in the form of an online module to acquire knowledge and know-how on the management of one’s digital identity, job seeking, the construction of his network professional…-the publication of lessons learned and recommendations from the project. These objectives have been fully achieved.First, the project partners mobilized the actors from the 3 target audiences on their territory during NetMe-In days to sensitize them to the project's approach and invite them to share their experiences. 263 people participated in these events organized by the field partners, symbolizing the capacity of the project members to mobilize local actors. Some of these NetMe-In days participants were then asked to participate in the local support networks who continued the exchange of practices and began to work on the production of contents based on their experiences. 174 people have participated throughout Europe in these LAN.The content developed took the form of KBC: articulation of ""microcapsules"" (testimonials, interviews, case studies ...) in more or less elaborate training scenarios. These KBCs covered various topics such as ""PSN for recruitment"", ""PSN as a tool for successful career"", ""Accompaniment for the accompaniment process around the use of PSN and Digital Professional Identity »... 10 KBCs were foreseen in the application, and 13 were issued at the end of the project, based on 36 microcaps. These KBCs have taken different forms: comics, videos, board games, ... but all the resources are available online on the project website: http://netmein.eu/ or on the youtube channel of the project: https://goo.gl/gK8Umh These KBCs were then tested during pilot actions by the partners on their territory: 1120 people had the opportunity to test the contents developed during the project, allowing the collection of their opinions and comments.Another aspect of NetMe-In has been the creation of a European Community of Practice for Accompaniment (e-CoPAc), a European emanation of the local networks. The members of this community gathered during two mobilities and set goals and action plans for the future. Many sustainability actions are already underway, evidencing of the sustainability of the developed content. One of these is the city of Modena, which has integrated the results of the project into the training catalog offered to schools in the city, UBS which has integrated some KBC into courses for their students or the DFIW2W which is continuing the development of content with new partners in Scotland as part of a new Erasmus + project."

"Journey to Work 5 (JTW5)The Journey to work programme has been a very successful programme and JTW5 continues the success story. Scottish Government (SG), Edinburgh Capital City Partnership (CCP), Skills Development Scotland (SDS) & Joined Up for Jobs network requested Werkcenter Scotland to do everything in our power to support recent graduates from VET-schools in their Journey to Work. This journey was a pretty heavy ride due to Corona and we had to anticipate and improvise a lot, but we are very happy with the good results achieved so far.JTW5 was written for 10 recent graduates up to 30 years old, who are in unemployment (benefit). We wanted to target 2 groups of recent graduates (5 & 5 incl. fewer opportunities) from VET-schools pre-dominantly when they enter the social benefits system. Eventually we have done 12 mobilities (6 participants for 6 weeks & 6 for 2 weeks) to Holland. The 12 participants were selected from an initial group of 40. 29 started with the preparatory workshops and 18 of them were selected, but due to the Corona outbreak we had to maintain contact, monitor and recruit and select again... We started fairly well with 3 and 3 young people going to the Netherlands for 6 weeks. But due to Corona there was a major delay in the implementation and the programme was on hold for a almost a year…We had to anticipate and improvise. We decided not to travel to Italy due to the heavy rules and the high probability that we would be stopped at the border. After checking the Dutch rules and travel conditions as regards to students and work and intense talks and collabouration with the very experienced Dutch partner DFW2W we decided to Target1 group of 6 recent graduates for 2 weeks (mid may 2021 – 31st May 2021) in The Netherlands. We let them enter the Netherlands in 3 groups. The JTW5 Model, it's 1-2-3 methodology (""EU Good Practice 2006, 2012 & 2014') has delivered work experience in:Retail (1x): 6 weeksCommunication (4x): 1 x 6 weeks, 3 x 2 weeksAdministration (3x): 2 x 6 weeks, 1 x 2 weeks Webdesign (2x): 1 x 6 weeks, 1 x 2 weeksMechanic automotive (1x): 1 x 2 weeks)Woodcrafting (1x): 1 x 6 weeksThe approach of WS & the host organisation DFW2W is to support & guide recent graduates in getting & improving new knowledge, skills & qualifications to facilitate personal development & responsibility to obtain basic work experience & qualifications and/or participation on the local, national and EU labor market. Unfortunately we could not do an exchange with our Italian Partner CPA,due to the Corona outbreak and waves that followed. We have fallen back on DFW2W, our very experienced Dutch partner and has been our partner for almost a decade in YfEj, From Work to Work, JTW 1,2,3 and 4 and 6. We have specifically chosen for their apprenticeships and specialization to get all the participants on one location, a ver big plant in the Green Heart inside the Randstad area. DFW2W was able to get a very broad range of apprenticeships on one location and were ecquiped to deal and work within the Corona framwork of rules and procedures. WS and DFW2W were able to place recent graduates on a structured JTW Holland.JTW5 starts with the Assessment phase (1): The preparation training is required to get the recent graduates from VET-schools ready for the internships abroad, a young person who demonstrates correct behaviour will be rewarded and allowed to the Development Phase (2): Abroad in Holland. We could use the normal procedure with the first 2 groups. The assessment phase for group 3 was very long. They were recruited and ready to go, but we had to postpone due to Corona. We stayed in touch and had digital prep. meetings in April 2021. After the mobility phase 3 started, a further intensive Work programme delivered by CCP, the Joined Up for Jobs network & SDS on the young person's return to UK.- We reached 72,5% (objective 70%) of recent graduates to have successfully finished the assessment phase (29 out of 40). 12 of them have been given the opportunity to do a work placement in Holland as a form of incentive. At the initial meeting and introductionary workshop 40 young people attended our launch meetings. But only 29 young people signed up for the preparatory workshops- 100% of the participants returned to the UK as ‘job ready’. To be fair, the last group is very recent, so we still have to make sure we maintain our achievement of ‘job readiness’ within 1 year- 83,3% (objective 75%): 5 out of 6 participants of the first 2 flows (of 3 and 3 –last flow was 6 young people) currently have jobs. 1 has some health issues and is recovering. Regarding the participants of flow 3, who finished end May 2021, currently 3 are in a job and 3 are following up in an apprenticeship/education programme-100% (objective 100%) of the participants have been evaluated by the host & sending organisation and final reports have been sent to Scottish Organisations describing how to follow up JTW5."

"According to Cree (2003), a young carer is a person aged 5-25 whose life is affected by the illness or disability of someone in his or her family. They may provide physical or emotional support for that person. Young carers may care for relatives who have a physical or learning disability, mental health problem, chronic illness or alcohol misuse problem. According to Becker, (2000), a particularly vulnerable group, that we will focus on, are young adults age 18-25. For those young adults the care load they have to shoulder is particularly heavy, their educational and vocational opportunities are limited by their geographical location and influenced by their domestic situation, and there are also intergenerational challenges present. The project will target young carers, young people working for young carers and entrepreneurs and offer learning opportunities so that they can develop their social entrepreneurial skills.Young carers are a group at risk of social exclusion and their career and educational opportunities are often limited by the role they play in the family. This situation necessitates professional support from multiple sources. Not only does it concern health services and education support services, but it may also call for family services.A social entrepreneur is somebody who takes up a pressing social problem and meets it with an innovative solution. These individuals are willing to take on the risk and effort to create positive changes in society through their initiatives. Widespread use of ethical practices such as impact investing, conscious consumerism, and corporate social responsibility programs facilitate the success of social entrepreneurs. EPIONI, Anemos Ananeosis, and Consorzio SGS operate in the sector consisting of non-governmental organizations and other non-profitsThe project ""Social Entrepreneurship Skills for Young CAREgivers of people with chronic Illness"" ( acronym SESYCARE) targets young caregivers and aspires to overcome the above-mentioned problems by tools and methodologies that will enable young carers to develop their social and entrepreneurial skills. In the context of the project we will 1) compile a guide of good practices in the support of young caregivers who wish to develop their social entrepreneurial skills 2) deliver six seminars and one webinar for the program “Erasmus for young entrepreneurs” 3) conduct a training in the Netherlands by our experienced partner DFW2W 4) hold three transnational meetings in Athens, Istanbul, and Lanciano. In these meetings, the hosting partner, EPIONI, the newcomer Anemos Ananeosis, our academic partner Istanbul Gelisim University (Turkey) and the social enterprise Consorzio SGS (Italy), will provide country-specific recommendations and conduct a focus group to determine the entrepreneurial skills that young caregivers need to develop for a successful career in the non-profit sector. In the first year of the project, our partner DFW2W from the Netherlands, while hosting the short-term Joint staff training event in Leiden, will share their expertise and conduct study visits to relevant stakeholders. The project will build on the existing experiences of countries, such as the Netherlands, which offer adequate training to young people who wish to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, each partner will have to register at least two social entrepreneurs as “Hosts” in the ""Erasmus for young entrepreneurs"" platform. As interest in the topic of carers is growing rapidly in Europe we included a relevant organization as associated partner. Eurocarers, the European umbrella association working with carers will share good practices on how to reach young caregivers. Other associated partners that we thought useful to include are: the Academy of Entrepreneurship which will co-host, with EPIONI, seminars on ""Erasmus for young entrepreneurs"", the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development from Larissa which will assist in organizing the Webinar, the University of West Attica which will help with the identification of young carers and the Saronic Nephrological Center which will share good practices for young carers.A 3minute video of a former member of the European Parliament sharing the important role of young carers as social entrepreneurs will be uploaded on the website of the project. Partners will utilize social media extensively (eg Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to reach a wide young audience."

The Elevate Erasmus+ Consortium consisting of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde - commissioning agent for vocational services to the recovery community, Glasgow Council on Alcohol - the lead agency for over 30 organisations in the Public Social Partnership and Light on the Path worked together to deliver this exciting Project which introduced a new element to vocational training for people in recovery and enabled staff to learn about Good Practice from our European partners and share Scottish Good Practice. The consortium developed and implemented vocational training programmes matched to the aspirations and career development plans of both vocational learners from the recovery community and staff delivering learning services. This project successfully built on existing programmes by offering work placement and learning opportunities in the EU. This gave a wider work and social perspective to their milieu. For them to thrive in the future, it is crucial individuals gain a wider perspective and experience different ways of working and cultures. The learner participants were in vocational training programmes and of the 20 participants selected 100% started, completed and achieved 100% positive outcomes. Of the 20, 13 are now employed with 3 of those currently completing one of our Elevate SVQ Paid Placements, 5 have gone on to a voluntary position, 6 have completed an unpaid placement and of these 3, 3 are in employment, 1 is completing the COSCA Counselling Skills qualification and 1 has gone into Further Education. As a result of gaining a work placement abroad, this has given them the confidence and self-esteem to achieve their employability goals whether it be employment, volunteering or further learning and education.Individual participants have fed back that this experience was life changing for them and has led to them successfully sustaining their recovery journey. New partnerships have been developed for individuals and organisations within the PSP, many of whom had never seen a European dimension as relevant to them and their organisations, including 2 KA 2 applications by PSP members and Elevate 2 KA1 approved and already underway There were 4 cohorts of learner participants 2 – 4 weeks, dependent on the needs of learner, current vocational training programme and employment situation. Stage 1: Awareness Raising Stage 2: Recruitment and Selection Stage 3: Preparation, individual assessment and development planning Stage 4: The Mobility experience Stage 5: Reflection, Review and Evaluation Stage 6: Dissemination There were 4 staff trips - 5 days each matched to individual development plans and organisational needs. These were focused on job shadowing and learning from European good practice as a platform for vocational training and development. Learning was disseminated across the PSP into Strategic planning for the Scottish Government. The lessons learnt from both learners and staff were analysed to develop future programmes designed to meet the needs of the recovery community and contribute to the economy as a whole as they sustain employment and reduce benefit dependency. Learners benefited from increased confidence, employability, cultural awareness and inspiration to keep learning and keep their European links. Changing from being a citizen of Glasgow to a citizen of Europe with a different outlook, insights which they shared with friends, colleagues and employers. They have increased language skills, and cultural understanding. VET staff and, in turn, their organisations, developed deeper understanding of European Good Practice in vocational training which has impacted on the quality of provision in Scotland as the participating organisations have been testing these models here and utilising them in development. The learning from this Project has increased the economic impact of vocational training for the participants by increasing retention and sustainability.• Helped remove stigma and changed employer’s perception of individuals in recovery as the individuals demonstrated what they have learned and how they managed living and working in a foreign country in their job applications . Regional Contributed to the PSP’s aim to introduced a more recovery focused Work Programme for individuals in recovery at local and national level European • . learned from and demonstrate to other EU member states how a recovery oriented education and training programme can improve employability capital and improve access to employment., individuals becoming active, contributing members of society - increased social skills, health and well-being of individuals- providing safer, stronger communities - sustaining improvements in physical/mental health, emotional, social/ physical well-being of individuals Economic and reducing the local and global environmental impact via improved skilled workforce- sustainable employment opportunities &reduced criminality and anti-social behaviours
