This project is intended for 14 students of Vocational Formation and Training from the six areas we have in the I.E.S. Santa María de Guía: Administration and Management, Electricity and Electronics, Community Care and Socio-cultural Services, Health Care, Transport and Maintenence of Vehicles and Hotel and Business Catering and Tourism in Santa María de Guía High School. The students will carry out their 30 days of internship in companies in Reggio Calabria (Italy) in order to boost the international dimension of their training. The High School's Board of Management, many teachers from different teaching teams, and teachers of Professional Training and Guidance are all fully involved in this project. These internships will be accepted as part of the training module undertaken by students as part of their professional training. The principal aims are to improve the skills and competencies of the students of Vocational Formation and Training in order to facilitate their integration into the Spanish and European Labour markets, as well as understanding different methods of labour organization industrial production and innovation in various production sectors. The results that are expected are principally that our students feel it is possible to include carrying out internships and possibly even entering the labour market in various European countries to their professional expectations. Furthermore, we wish to achieve that the experience of our students and teachers in the world of work and education in other European countries could broaden our professional and socio-economic horizons and allow us to improve the quality of our training programmes. The mobilites will take place between November 2016 and June 2017.

"The project ""Knowledge, skills and attitudes to the tourism technician in the European perspective"" intended to strengthen the role of transnational mobility and to strengthen the EU dimension in vocational training, targeting the target group (11th grade students in full professional training in the field of Tourism and Nutrition with the professional qualification Technician in Tourism and Commerce with the professional qualification Merchant-Seller) to contribute to the development of the ideal of a more equal world. The application was developed in collaboration with two other schools: the Economic Highschool and the “Csiky Gergely” College, the 3 schools identifying the same training needs at the level of the high school students, especially the students from the Technician in Tourism specialization and Merchant-Seller. The idea was designed for 28 students belonging to this category, wanting to do a 3-week practical training in Italy within travel agencies and in an agrotouristic guesthouse. This allowed them to gain valuable work experience, gave them a chance to become more competitive on the labor market. In the course of the training stages an important role was played by the intermediary organization Assocazione Darsana Teranga, which provided accommodation, meals and local transport of participants and the receiving organizations: COMUNE DI REGGIO CALABRIA which facilitated the admission of students to travel agencies and agrotouristic guesthouse and VEM srl which ensured students' specialty training. Students mobility was done in two flows: - the first flow consisted of 14 students of the 11th grade, the Technician in Tourism specialization and Merchant-Seller as follows: 7 students from “Csiky Gergely” College of Arad and 7 students from “Jozef Gregor Tajovsky” Theoretical High School from Nadlac. Each group of 7 pupils was accompanied by a teacher, and the period was February - March 2019. - the second flow consisted of 14 students of the 11th grade from Technician in Tourism Activities from Economic Highschool of Arad, which was accompanied by two teachers between March and April 2019. ""Knowledge, skills and attitudes to the tourism technician in the European perspective"" aimed to give the target group the opportunity to acquire new skills through an experience abroad, enriching their working skills, but also a cultural experience they gained through living and working in a foreign country. They acquired new working skills, relational and cultural abilities that they will ""import"" and use for their benefit. The main objectives of the project were: - Informing the participants on the importance of learning practical skills and linguistic abilities abroad and demonstrating their benefits in terms of future careers and increasing employment opportunities; - Acquiring new skills to develop professional development activities that encourage entrepreneurship; - Learning to learn: Practical experiences with different companies will give participants the sense of autonomy, personal initiative and teamwork skills and self-esteem, enabling them to cope with new challenges as well as acquire, assimilate and evaluate new knowledge; - Knowledge and adaptation to a different environment: this experience will increase the expectations of the European work environment; During the project we worked with the intermediary organization from the host country, with extensive experience in developing European youth training projects. Receiving organizations coordinated and monitored the 3-week practical training internships in travel agencies and agrotouristic guesthouse. As an impact on the schools in the consortium one can mention: - Motivating and stimulating the learning desire of the other students, the participants in the project being an incentive for colleagues and friends, given that our school aims to capitalize on the experience gained and to apply in the future for other Erasmus+ - Creating the prestige of the schools involved in the project by developing a training system that creates a well-trained and recognized workforce both in the country and abroad. The expected results of this project proposal can be summarized as follows: 1. Improving and acquiring professional, linguistic and cultural skills by the participants who will be able to: - increase their opportunities to enter the labor market; - to test the new European approaches and methodologies in the field of tourism and hotel industry and to use them in international and European contexts with local and foreign operators; -to acquire essential abilities enabling participants to be more competitive on the local labor market; 2. Strengthening the role of mobility as a working tool in all occupational contexts;"

"The project intends to impact on the problems related to lack of literacy, of early school leaving and dropout, which are interlinked to schooling problems that obstacle a full and effective integration of teenagers into the educational and training systems, using Traditional Arts and Crafts as a powerful tool. The revival story of each traditional craft, material or tool, began with the passion of dedicated individuals and communities. In order to pass on this craft's heritage, it’s important to preserve the quality materials and tools that are so essential to its survival, as well as support the next generation of craftspeople. Paying efforts to revive craft traditions and rediscovering each product as a symbol of the area from which it originated offers great potential for reaching the Erasmus+ transversal key competences as set out by the Reference Framework: learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and cultural awareness and expression. The consortium aimed at involving the target-groups of the project in the main activities of the project in order to address their needs more properly. Thus, a survey will be carried out in all partners‘ countries with the collaboration educators and early school leavers. A collection of learning techniques considered as good practices will be promoted. The findings of both activities will contribute to defining the contents of the Guide ""Rediscovering the Lost Crafts: didactic and inclusive practice to fight school failure, early school leaving and dropping out”. Themed workshops are going to be one of the major activities to be completed in the 2nd year of the project. As such, the most important outcomes produced so far are the Guide containing the conclusions about the current needs of the target groups and several techniques to promote creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit; a short documentary on Traditional Arts and Crafts. After the realization of the workshops and the development of the final version of the Guide and of the documentary, an Event to present all the consortium's outcomes implemented in all partner‘s countries will be promoted to present the project‘s results, to experience some of the techniques used at the workshops and also to distribute the final products of the project. Through the project, we are proposing: * to improve school success and motivation * to fight against school failure and absenteeism * to decrease anti-social behavior * to increase motivation of the students * to create growth in extracurricular activities * to help young people to better understand their history and their environment * to promote innovation of trades and crafts * to create a learning community based on training between three European realities * to have result in fewer learning and behavior problems * to inform parents and community on the importance of education."
