Precision Agriculture is a computer-aided management, based mainly on gathering data about the spatial differentiation of yields within a field. Today, commonly available fertilizer spreaders and sprayers equipped with different types of computers and equipment to support their work. The problem in our region is that unfortunately, but most farmers are not convinced of the use of these devices in fear of failure, complicated operation and high price. The implemented project in the field of precision agriculture aimed to approximate the application of technological innovations in the daily functioning of farms, stimulate curiosity and willingness to discover and, as a consequence, use methods that facilitate life. The aim of this project was to convince young people - future farmers, about the possibilities offered by computerized agricultural equipment: - simple and fast calibration of the machines - the possibility of changing the dose during the treatment - applying the doses at different speeds - obtaining savings due to the use of variable fertilizer dosing. The project ZSCKR in Potoczek included 4 stages of activities:- Recruitment of participants,- Preparing students for internship- Departure for an internship,- Dissemination of the results. The project was aimed at students enrolled in the competition: agricultural mechanization techniques and techniques for the farmer. The students came from the surrounding villages, were interested in agriculture and technical innovations in this field. The number of participants 36, in two groups of 18 people. When preparing participants for the internship took place:1. Preparation language 80 hours for every 18 -to-person group - which included a group of 36 people in a number of 160 hours of lessons in four groups of 9 people. (4 groups of 9 x 40 = 160 hours)2. Preparation teaching 10 hours for each 18-person group.4. Cultural preparation 10 hours for each 18-person group.5 Preparation Course 20 hours for each 18-person group.6. Information about the Erasmus Programme + and on the basis of the reports 20 hours for each 18-person group During the internship, students improved their professional skills by working in small groups, serving typical, but modern equipment and machinery. They grew their own initiative, deepened their professional knowledge by applying it in practice. Raised social competence through independent work (which taught the responsible fulfillment of the tasks entrusted and developed management skills, and the organization's own work), as well as team tasks (actions) in groups. This increased the level of self-confidence and provided the proper ability to adapt and work in an international environment. Trainee leaded to equal opportunities. Encouraged participants to take specific for the Germans habits such as reliability, honesty, punctuality and organization of work. An internship was a good time to break the barrier that often occurs between the two nations. Not without significance was acquired knowledge by all participants of the project and systematically implemented in the process of theoretical and practical teaching in the requesting unit, that is in the ZSCKR in Potoczek, which owns and uses its own farm for didactic purposes. The implementation of the project has contributed to broadening the awareness of project participants in the field of computer-aided management, based mainly on data collection, and variable control of fertilization and protection machines resulting from the diversity of spatial quality and richness of soil. After returning from the internship, the effects of the project in the form were widespread by :1. A series of meetings with local farmers and agricultural organizations in which students involved with the project - wi present the materials developed during your stay.2. Caregivers individual groups, together with representatives of participants (students) presented the achieved knowledge of neighboring municipal councils sessions, meetings with representatives of agricultural chambers.3. The information sent to the Information Bulletin Lublin Chamber of Agriculture, Newspapers Janowska4. On website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development posted information about the trip participants 5. Parents of our students were introduced with the effects of working at information sessions or review meetings.6.
