Some of them are exploring the EU's challenges, and in particular the events that have taken place in recent years with their positives and negatives for society and the EU as a whole. In the implementation of the main activities are provided workshops, in which the young people get acquainted with the term ""media literacy"", media types. They will discuss the challenges of the EU, meet with PR and radio host to discuss how to produce a successful media product. An open exhibition with photos of the participants prepared before the main project activities will be prepared and will reflect their personal views on the EU's challenges. The objectives of the planned activities are: intercultural dialogue in a safe environment, exploring new cultures, enhancing media literacy and activating active European citizenship, enhancing personal competencies. By fulfilling the objectives of the planned activities, we believe that we will achieve the objectives of the project, namely: youth to discuss topical issues of European citizenship, to realize that, despite cultural differences, they have the same values, become more tolerant to the different, with the manifestations of racism, discrimination and xenophobia, to be active Europeans involved in building civil society, but in a way more accessible to them, namely through the media. Methods that will be used in the project are energy jets, ice brewing games, role plays, discussions, application of theatrical techniques, etc."

Partners involved in this project share a common vision of educating young people about a healthy lifestyle, raising concerns about sustainability, encouraging creative sharing, inclusive coexistence and cooperation with fellow human beings as well as nature. We want to equip young people with knowledge and skills that will help them adopt a positive attitude towards themselves and their environment, as well as create a fair and environmentally responsible society for the future.Concern for nature and the environment is woven into the project at all levels, as its young initiators care deeply about our beautiful planet. We will be exploring and sharing different ways how to make life more sustainable and critically reflect on awareness and conservation of natural resources. We will also touch upon global environmental challenges. The main goals of the project are:1. to develop personal, social, emotional and creative skills of young people, thereby promoting their physical and mental health and well-being2. to contribute to sustainable development - young people will share and learn about concrete, practical solutions to live more sustainably (in ecological and social terms). The project will be carried out in the European Year of Youth and is in line with its objectives: it draws from young people's inspiration, visions and ideas, involves young people with fewer opportunities and encourages them to contribute to a positive change in sustainability and environmental protection. It supports their personal, social and possibly even professional development as well as focuses on establishing a green transition.Through it, we will develop and strengthen many key skills (deep listening, group dynamics, collective intelligence, use of art media, mindfulness, resilience, non-violent communication…) and learn to build healthy, genuine, inclusive and sustainable relationships. It will strengthen our common awareness and respect for Mother Earth and promote more responsible and sustainable management of its resources. We will be repositioning our (human) place in the net of life, not based on superiority and exploitation, but placing us in the role of grateful guardian of the Earth and strengthening a sense of deep connection with nature and all its living beings.Participating in the project will strengthen European values and lead us to a curious and open acceptance of our mutual diversity, foster intercultural dialogue and learning, and strengthen a sense of belonging to Europe.<< Implementation >>The project includes a preparatory visit and an international youth exchange that will bring together 30 participants from four European countries - Spain, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary. They are 18 to 30 years old, group leaders being older. Project includes participants with fewer opportunities. The exchange will take place from 5th to 19th August 2022, in Slovenia, at ecological farm Metta, where we will be embraced and supported by mother nature. We will embark on an exploratory journey through the 4 elements of our outer and inner world. We will discover the qualities of earth, water, fire and air, and learn how to connect with them to support us in everyday life and lead us to unlock our full potential. At the same time, we will address each of the elements from an ecological and sustainable viewpoint, critically evaluate people's attitude towards the environment and natural resources, and find practical solutions on how we can contribute to saving the planet Earth, our beautiful and only home.Experiential and interactive methods of work will be deployed, with special emphasis on building supportive group dynamics and active participation of all participants. They will share their knowledge, skills and abilities through the Open Space technology, while the topic of sustainability will be explored in small groups with elements of a proactive café (gathering collective intelligence and knowledge). We will also use creative media methods: various creative expression techniques (dance, singing, visual expression), psychosocial movement / dance methods, interactive work methods, role plays and the like.We will close our journey with the ancient sweat lodge ceremony (originating from the indigenous people of the Americas), which, by integrating all 4 elements, opens the door to the fifth: the aether, the magical space of healing and pure creation.<< Results >>Through the project, young people will get to know themselves better, discover different dimensions of themselves, increase awareness of their values and improve their physical and mental health and well-being. They will find it easier to recognize their own potentials and strengths and learn to better rely on them whilst facing different life challenges. Through connecting with nature and the elements, they will establish a solid and lasting foundation on which they can build and grow throughout their lives in the future. At the same time, they will learn about various sustainable practices and try out concrete, practical solutions on how we as individuals can contribute to the preservation of our planet. We will encourage and inspire each other to change our habits to be more aware and responsible towards the environment. After the completion of the project, participants will transfer these practices to their home environment and share them further, enriching their partner organizations as well as the wider community. Thus, the project will have a positive impact on the conservation of resources and nature, contribute to sustainable development and a more respectful attitude towards the planet - as well as to a better relationship and cooperation between its people.Nature Within Me brings together participants with similar interests and diverse special skills, thus creating an excellent ground for successful international cooperation in the future. Participants will strengthen their self-initiative, responsibility and ability to independently plan and implement projects, while gaining peer support for the concrete realization of their ideas and inspiration, which will encourage them to take on a more active role in the society. Partner organizations will further consolidate their cooperation, expand their international network and connect with reliable actors for future joint activities. The local environment of the host organization will be enriched by a pleasant intercultural experience, through which local people will come into contact with young people from other countries and thus open up to Europe. The project will also be presented in each of the partner organizations local environments, and its impact will be spread through focused and empowered activities of young people who will develop a clear vision of their future and find a way of social action through which they can actively contribute to community welfare.Nature Within Me also addresses the general public – promotion of the project (through articles and impressions of participants, video, exhibition) will raise awareness of the importance of non-formal and experiential learning in nature. We want people to recognize how vital it is to develop key competences and strengths of youth, to build on their capacity, and promote their social and emotional learning. This is vital for their well-being as it helps them to grow into their full potential and meaningfully contribute to our common reality. In particular, we want to spread the awareness of sustainable practices, and make the public see clearly just how important this is to young people and that together we can take serious steps towards greater sustainability. We want to send out the message to the world that we do care and invite it to build a green and friendly future together.

This project was the main activity, 7-days training course, which was implemented in Leicester, from 19-27 March 2018 (including travel days). It gathered in total 24 participants (+4 trainers) from 8 countries: Croatia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia, Turkey and UK. This project is a follow up of the project “Gender equality starts now” implemented in Croatia in the fall of 2016 under the European cooperative youth network (ECYON) umbrella. Touched by the numerous examples of hate speech (mostly sexist hate speech) that were shown, discussed and analysed during the above mentioned training, participants detected various issues and raised numerous questions that were addressed through this project: what is the role, influence and impact of Internet and especially of social media on young people's lives and radicalization; what is the role of inter cultural learning in combating stereotypes and prejudices; questions of legal frame and legal responsibility when it comes to freedom of expression were also raised; the training allowed us the opportunity to go deeper into these problematic issues. Since there is a thin line between freedom of expression and hate speech, we seized the opportunity to research the role of the youth work and inter cultural learning and non-formal education in general in combating hate speech, especially hate speech Online. We equally explored its influence on radicalization of youth; we also continued promoting and sharing methods and tools that can be used in our work During the training, non-formal and informal learning principles were implemented which means that workshops were based on a diverse range of environments and situations and they were facilitated by experienced trainers who are very well acquainted with the topic of human rights and in particular freedom of expression and hate speech, they were equally conversant with NFE methodology. Project objectives are: • Develop deeper understanding and ability to distinguish between freedom of expression and hate speech • Explore and raise awareness about huge influence of internet, especially social media on young people lives and process of radicalization • Explore and learn more about different institutions protecting human rights, legal frame and cases in which freedom of expression can and should be limited • Raise awareness about underlying narratives behind hate speech that undermine human rights and democratic values and how they function • Explore the role of youth work and non-formal education in combating hate speech Online and promoting tolerance and understanding • Familiarize participants with the Compass, Bookmarks and We can!– manuals for combating hate speech Online through human rights education • Encourage and support cooperation and networking among participants and the partner organizations to combat hate speech Online and to continue promotion and implementation of human rights education, especially within the frame of Erasmus+ program With this project, we were able to have an impact at the local, national and international levels. We were able to fully equip participants to be able to act against hate speech. Moreover, we also equipped them with knowledge, skills and tools which they will be able to transfer to other youth workers and young people in their organizations and local communities. In that way they will multiply gained knowledge, skills and tools and more people will be enabled to act against hate speech, both online and offline, in simple and effective ways. With this training, we will also support capacity building of the partner organizations. By equipping and empowering partner organization’s workers, we want to encourage our partners to become even more active in the field of promotion and protection of human rights, fight against hate speech and prevention of youth radicalization. In the end, we can demonstrate that we have had considerable impact at international level through development of new project ideas under the Erasmus+ which will strengthen international cooperation and assure sustainability of our network.

Peer education is not treated as separate branch of social, education or social rehabilitation work. Young youth workers do not have sufficient preparation and education for working with their clients who are at the same age. Thanks to participation in the project, they gained support, knowledge and new tools that improve the quality of support work - which was also the goal of the project. Youth cadres were given the opportunity to develop and peer-education and non-formal education were promoted. Participation in the project increased the quality of the work of specialists who measure their activities with solving important and complicated social problems, which turned into more effective work and greater efficiency in counteracting social exclusion of young people. As part of the project, training (6 days) was organized, in which young youth workers (up to 30 years old) took part from 5 European countries (France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Poland) along with group leaders - a total of 25 participants.Project participants developed an e-publication on peer-education as a tool for supporting young youth workers working on a daily basis with young people at risk of social exclusion..

There were 42 participants from Poland, Lithuania, Spain and Italy at the age of 17-27 who were not only active and conscious civil society members but also would like to broaden their knowledge on the above mentioned subject and develop their creativity. The project ""Critical thinking- the Media Filter"" was implemented through a variety of non-formal and informal learning methods (eg. mixed-group work, workshops, brainstorms, discussions, etc.). The main principle throughout the whole project was the principle of learning from each other. The main project activity was a youth exchange, which took place from 24.09.18 to 30.09.18 2018 in the Scout Maritime Center in Puck. The main goal of the project was to learn critical thinking tools, stimulate creativity and acquire some skills connected with the implementation of the tools in media literacy. This goal was achieved through the following actions (sequence of activities prepared by the participants) druing the youth exchange: - Critical Thinking- what is critical thinking?, why is it so important and why it is called a key competence of XXI century - Information Society-introduction-the activities was a basis for realization of previously planned tasks (during the youth exchange), projection of TEDx’s video ""From knowledgeable to kowledge-able’’- discussion about the topics mentioned in the video and presentation. - Media which uphold the values - Critical Thinking- how to implement it in media litearacy. Critical Thinking vs network security - Forms of manipulation that block expressing someone’s thoughts in media literacy - The rules of functioning of press agencies and news desks - Interviews with the local community connected with the application of the sources of information and the application of critical thinking in media literacy. - Oxford debate devoted to Critical Thinking and the Media - Creating brochures and videos- materials promoting critical thinking among youth - Network security and data protection in information society In the dissemination phase of the project: - Carrying out workshops devoted to critical thinking and creativity by all partner organizations in their countires for 20 young people The implementation of the already planned activities also contributed to establishement of the dialogue between citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Spain and Italy (partner organizations), through active communication in the preparation phase and work in mixed groups, activating and integrating games, cultural evenings, during youth exchange. Through participation in the project, young people rise their awareness of critical thinking tools (which they will be able to apply later in school and at work), developed their creativity, deepen their ability to use new media, and at the same time contribute to the dissemination of critical thinking among their peers. Youth shared the effects of their work with the local community in the host country, members of their organizations, and Internet users through profiles on social networks and websites of organizations participating in the project. In addition, thanks to the participation in the project young people increased their interpersonal skills, got to know more about other cultures, become more active in social life and stimulate their creativity. The assumed result of the implemented project is to broaden knowledge on the subject of critical thinking, especially in the field of the critical approach towards the Media and information. Additionally, all materials (photos, brochures, multimedia presentations) are available in social networks in order to reach more target groups and ensure the sustainability of the project."
