The consortium wishes to offer work placements in European companies for VET learners that experience difficulties in entering the job market.Within the project, the consortium wishes to send 80 beneficiaries for 8-week work placements in European companies (lreland, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Malta and Greece). The beneficiaries are continuing VET learners who are not preparing for a diploma. These people encounter difficulties in entering the labour market and in managing their transition to working life. They are monitored by counsellors at Pôle Emploi Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and ""Missions locales"" (members of the consortium). The main objectives for the VET learners are:1° behaviour: motivation, autonomy, self-reliance, communication, social skills, mobility2° professional: professional skills and competence, new professional techniques and practice, better knowledge of the world of enterprise;3° linguistic and cross-cultural: practising a foreign language, discovering another European language, realising one's European citizenship, growing aware of one's own culture.Transversal skills - necessary for one's persona l, social and professional fulfilment - are in the centre of the project for these two groups of VET learners, and this even prior to gaining professional skills as such. A pedagogical, linguistic and cultural preparation will take place before the mobility and there are language classes during the mobility period.Expected outcomes for the VET learners include:- gaining professional, linguistic, cross-cultural and transversal skills;- re-establishing one's personal and professional project;- increased employability;- renewed interest in learning;- more active citizen involvement;- better capacity for geographical mobility on all levels: regional, national, European, or even international;- quicker access to better employment or to skills training/a diploma course. All beneficiaries will receive a Europass Mobility on their return to certify the achieved learning outcomes. Finally, the potential longer-term benefits of the project include:- pursuing the regional dynamic created amongst the members of the consortium of AUDACE mobility projects;- training of better quality for continuous VET trainees in Auvergne;- internationalisation of employment/training support structures;- more international activity both in sending and receiving reg ions. The results will be disseminated through:- Europass awarding ceremonies in the presence of regional councillors and local press;- forums for international mobility, forums on employment, etc.;- articles in local newspapers;- presentations in reunions;- the newsletter of the« Auvergne Network for International Mobility ». the IODA network of the CARIF-OREF, social networks (""Auvergne Mobilité Internationale"" on Facebook, Twitter). Thanks to the AUDACE project, for 11 years, 440 VET learners benefited from a work placement in Europe. The consortium implemented on a local level will contribute in maintaining the strong interest expressed by the target group. The beneficiaries can, therefore, get involved in the mobility. Their active participation and commitment is proven by the success of the “AUDACE” project."

During their stay, they discovered the use of the new digital technologies in Ireland, from the primary school to the university. The training periods in the various organizations allowed them to make them aware that the use of the new digital technologies in teaching was compulsory. The interactivity of some applications (Socrative) may influence how students learn. Being convsersant with these news tools is an asset to get a job. Activities performedThe various organizations presented how they use the new technologies and why they were so innovating. They all underlined that having a good knowledge of the new technologies is a real advantage to get a job. Today it is compulsory. Results and consequencesA few teachers discovered a real application of Socrative. They used it in their classes. These new tools also require a change in our students' behaviour because they are not used to use these interactive tools.Others have developed Moodle.

At first, his project was aimed exclusively at Terminales students in the European section English class, whether they study sales, commerce, reception or office administration. Now it is also open to all other students willing to train abroad. The 2014 ERASMUS + project involves 25 young people - 16 girls and 9 boys from all socio-economic backgrounds - who have had the opportunity to perform their training abroad. Yet, for this edition, as planned in our original project, most of these young people are enrolled in European class. Two destinations were preferred these two past years, the United Kingdom (England and Scotland) and Malta. For strictly linguistic reasons (corresponding to the requirements of the European section), we choose to work only with English-speaking partners. The project responds primarily to a strong desire to encourage young people to travel and train abroad, thus adding value to the future graduates curriculum, allowing them to study longer and hope for better employment. In the UK, we work primarily with our own partners, with whom years of collaboration helped forge lasting links for personalized training and monitoring . However, for this first experience on the island of Malta, we turned to a partner organization, which allowed us to find suitable companies matching the level and training sectors of our students. The steering committee of our school, consisting of the administrative staff and teachers, ensures the quality of placements and personal projects of the students, also ensures equal opportunities for all and supports young people all throughout their project, from birth to completion through the implementation. Thus, the teachers involved in the project provide support, monitor and evaluate. The results of this project have exceeded all our expectations since the success rate for both diplomas were 100% the past two years and the students graded such high scores that it allowed almost all candidates to get an extra mention with their Baccalauréat professionnel, and therefore opportunities to study in university. Moreover, this success creates a growing calling for training abroad amongst students and colleagues. Thus, after developing our existing partnerships – such as the one with the Michelin manufacture, we plan to open new ones in other European destinations.

So they can do part of their training period in a foreign country.Goals : This experience must allow the students to get more independance, to open their minds to european cultures, to realize how important it is to speak a foreign language. It also allows them to discover different professional environment than those met in France.Number and type of participants : 4 students, all girls, of the 3rd year of training in Management and Administration registered in the European section went to Ireland to do a 4 week training period in Cork.Activities : the students did their internship in varius companies. In order to chose the company, the students took a test to assess their level of English. One student did secretarial work beacuse she had the opportunity to work in a college. One did works which had nothing to do with her training : she worked in an art community. The 2 other students prepared orders. During the week-ends, the students visited Cork and cities closed to Cork (Cobh, Kinsale). 2 of them took a tour to visit the Moher Cliffs. Results : the students came back and were very pleased with this experience. They gained confidence, maturity, and more independance. This experience allowed one student to register in the ""BTS Commerce International"". 2 students got the ""EURO"" mention on their degree. These students will be very good embassadors to promote the mobility abroad. These mobilities show that our vocational school is very involved in european opening. The students were interwieved by the local newspaper after their came back to France."

The team that drives it and who is in charge of the preparation and organization process is now familiar with the mobility projects and is getting more and more accurate from a professional point of view, with the different actions conducted . The opening of a European class in September 2015 is a new guarantee for educational staff involvement. We have been organizing students’ mobility for 20 years and the teachers’ mobility started 2 years ago.To achieve this goal we wish to organize:A- 15 mobilities dedicated to the ‘Terminale Baccalauréat professionnel’ students - that is to say to the final year students. Their stay in the region of Valence, Spain will last 46 days and they will be placed in a company. The placement agency ESMOVIA will be in charge of finding the suitable firm, the accommodation as well as ensuring a regular control process. Two teachers will therefore accompany the trainees on their departure trip to make sure their first contact within the company goes well. Two other teachers will later be designated in order to proceed to the trainees’ evaluation at the end of their training period. The accompanying teachers will stay 3 days in Valence and 2 extra days will need to be devoted to the trip.B- 8 mobilities dedicated to the ‘Première Baccalauréat professionnel’ students - that is to say to students in their second year of their 3-year diploma. They all attend the European class. Their stay in the region of Dublin, Ireland will last 27 days and they will be placed in a company. The placement agency IEPARTNERS will be in charge of finding the suitable firm, the accommodation as well as ensuring a regular control process. Two teachers will therefore accompany the trainees on their departure trip to make sure their first contact within the company goes well. Two other teachers will later be designated in order to proceed to the trainees’ evaluation at the end of their training period. The accompanying teachers will stay 3 days in Dublin and 2 extra days will need to be devoted to the trip. Our aim is to root European mobility in our school and to go on developing it. We want to be able to offer more and more students the possibility to do their training period abroad and enrich their curriculum. Indeed this experience in a foreign country will be a real advantage for our newly-graduated students when looking for a job. It will also enable them to discover other cultures and ways of life that will broaden their awareness and understanding of the rich diversity within the European Union and of the notion of a European citizenship.
