Within the project, cooperation between Programme and Partner countries and exchange among participants will encourage intercultural citizenship education thanks and through the celebration of cultural heritage.FuSION project will develop innovative tools and methodologies based on the valorisation of the (inter)cultural heritage to support the efforts and quality of work of youth workers fostering participation and to enrich learning processes of young people. The developed approaches will support the continuous professional development of youth workers in partner countries, improving the quality of youth work, and the engagement of the local communities in volunteering activities involving international volunteers and interactive actions. More than 36 youth workers, 12 local youth organizations/informal groups and 300 young people will join project activities related to (inter)cultural heritage testing and improving gamification approaches, collected in a special KIT, and non-formal education methodologies which will allow 9 volunteers to develop crucial transversal skills for their personal and professional development. All learning experiences will be part of a Manual on (inter)cultural heritage which will provide guidelines for competence-oriented heritage education, present methods for involvement and major contribution of young people and will provide inputs for building networks and partnership between youth and cultural organisations. The official website will serve as means to share non-formal activities and approaches on (inter)cultural heritage education and provide major visibility to the project. The project is perceived by partner countries as an opportunity for major incisiveness in support discovery and celebration of cultural differences between various cultural groups and for the creation of new educational approaches and new professional networks among organisations from Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.
