    << Background >>The high levels of youth unemployment in Europe makes this project of particular interest to the continent. Young people that participate in voluntary work learn new skills and can develop both personally and professionally. Voluntary organizations and young volunteers provide an essential role in making Europe a more multi-cultural and tolerant continent<< Objectives >>-To build partnership, share best experiences and practices, among organizations from WB and Europe, -To measure the perception of young people, assess their needs and frame recommendations for organizations, stakeholders and young people on the impact of volunteering -To build capacities and develop skills of youth workers and youth leaders how to actively engage young people on exchanges and volunteering activities<< Implementation >>The project was implemented in 2020 by a consortium of 11 organizations from WB and Europe. The implemented activities: 1. Partnership Building Seminar 2. Research on young people and volunteering 3. Capacity building training 4. Local conferences in 6WB on young people and volunteering 5. Regional conference on young people and volunteering<< Results >>- Strengthen the collaboration and shared experiences/practices among 11 organization throughout Europe - Developed regional research on 6 countries of Western Balkan on identifying needs, challenges and opportunities of young people on volunteering - Developed capacities of 32 youth workers on qualitative volunteering and incisive tools to use on volunteering activities - established network between NGOs, private and public institutions in the region who could have an active role

    Concrete Results of the project- A team of 24 multipliers in forum and image theatre; - 9 teams of 6 young volunteers that will develop skills in forum theatre as a tool for social change- At least 27 local projects that are using Forum Theatre as a tool for social change- At least 1080 direct beneficiaries of the local projects based on forum theatre- A manual translated in various European languages that will represent a best practice for other organizations The main goal of the project is to increase the capacity of youth work sector to raise the participation and involvement of young people in social processes and change;More specific Objectives of the project are:• To introduce innovative methodologies in youth work field; • To raise the capacity of partner organizations to operate at European level and in international mobility projects;• To stimulate the exchange of best practices in youth work field;• To increase the quality of the youth organization projects;• To develop and improve skills in non-formal education in general, and in particular in Theatre of the Oppressed methods for youth workers from Europe;• To develop a network of Forum Theatre multipliers in various regions of Europe; • o improve project management, communication, team leading and motivations skills for youth workers• To develop pro-active attitudes and the sense of initiative among the partners NGO members and also among the beneficiaries of the partners (young people). • To increase the level of active participation among the direct and indirect beneficiaries • To contribute to the development of employable skills among direct and indirect beneficiaries. • To introduce Erasmus + programme, as a great provider of educational opportunities.- The structure of the project is 1)planning online meeting- 2)capacity building training- 3)practice phase in local communities to put in practice the learning from first training- 4)second training for advance competencies-5)local activities for putting in practice the advance competencies-6)final online evaluation; and the time between all this big miles stones in the projects is thought adapted to the local realities in all partners countries in order to have enough time to prepare, implement and evaluate each activity and also to plan the next one;- The flow of the activities is designed in order to be flexible on the needs of each organization in terms of time and local adaptation as well as involvement of local team;

    “EduGaming” project was developed based on the premise that educational games (used in youth work, communities, workshops, trainings, etc.), which are approaching urgent issues related to social exclusion, disempowerment and radicalisation of young people, as well as various global challenges, are making a very big contribution to including young people (because they are innovative, attractive, user-friendly), raising awareness and engaging diverse target groups.The main goal of the project was to build capacities of youth organization to contribute to a cohesive and active society, through developing specific competencies in designing educational games addressing social and global issues. More specific objectives were:• To increase the level of knowledge in topics like: social exclusion, intercultural dialogue, social and global justice, climate change, sustainable lifestyle, and other global challenges;• To develop practical competencies in designing and applying new educational games in youth work;• To develop pro-active attitudes to approaching excluded young people;• To increase the level of creativity, innovation, self confidence and trust in educational games;• To understand the importance and be able to empower and motivate young people to create new educational tools; • To enable youth workers to act as educational games multipliers in their communities;• To develop abilities to facilitate educational games in diverse settings and youth work contexts; • To contribute to a long term change in educational approach in youth field;• To motivate youth organization to implement and mainstream the motto “think global, act local” , intercultural learning and human rights education in their work;The project gathered 29 participants from 13 countries: Serbia, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovakia and Slovenia. Participants were supported by their sending organisations and accompanied by 3 trainers and 1 external expert. The structure of the project was as follows: 1. First residential training course for developing basic competences in creating new educational games connected to social and global issues, which took part in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia, between 24th of February and 5th of March 2017; 2. First playtesting of the games in each community, which reached 613 young people in total; 3. Mid-term evaluation (online);4. Second residential training course for advanced competences in educational game design and involvement of young people, for the same group of participants, which took part in Busteni, Romania, between 12th and 21st of August 2017; 5. Second playtesting of the games, which so far reached around 100 young people;6. Evaluation; 7. Dissemination of the project results; 8. Follow-up and new initiatives in each community and on the international level. The main tangible outcomes of the project are educational tabletop games, which are now in the digital format and can be used by anyone for free. There is an editable version of each of the games, so other youth workers can customise it to their needs.
