Essential for interdisciplinary research, these services include: • Commodity type commercial digital services, such as: • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), providing compute, storage, network and related services, and a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications as a public cloud service. • Software as a Service (SaaS), an on-demand software licensing and delivery model in which software is used by the customer on a subscription basis and is hosted by the supplier as a public cloud service. File storage (sync and share), online collaboration, simulation and virtualisation tools are example services. • Secure Earth Observation commercial services, which make use of the Copernicus Data and Information Access Services (DIAS). After gathering user requirements, the OCRE will manage the adoption funds and buy resources from the selected suppliers (OCRE will act as customer) and make cloud resources available to institutions. Such a delivery vehicle is effective and efficient for the supply as well as the demand side. Service adoption is the key focus of this work. A legal and technical mechanism (The OCRE Business Management Platform) will be created to integrate a range of these commercial services into the EOSC hub in order to make them more easily available to researchers.

The platform will be completely web-based, to facilitate adoption, collaborative support from end-users and continuous upgrade. CYBERWISER.EU expands and builds on the results and users community of the H2020 IA named WISER [2015-2017], thereby providing a jump-start situation from a consolidated raising awareness and past investment point of view. The 9 domain-skilled partners from 7 European Countries bring relevant assets to the project and are complementary and include 3 full-scale pilots (2 of which in critical infrastructures), viz.: 1. energy distribution; 2. railroad transport; 3. High Education, in the specific context of a University Master course on cybersecurity. An influential Stakeholder Expert Board (SEB) supports the consortium. Main Outputs: An Innovative, fully integrated cyber range platform; economic risk models attack patterns with mitigation measures; specialised training documentation with methodology; 3 Full-scale Pilots; one Open Pilot Stream targeting 500+ individuals from at least 5 different verticals; 750+ trained professionals; Sustainability model & business plan. High visibility through 4 workshops, 2 hackathons, 6 webinars, presence at 50+ specialised events. Profiled database of 2000+ records from 11 stakeholder groups.

In the 6G multi-actor pluralistic environment, privacy is pivotal, not only for the end users, but also for all involved stakeholders; and it needs to be taken into account as a key requirement in all technologies of the network stack, including security mechanisms. In other words, the challenge for security enablers in future networks is, on the one hand, to address the significantly widened 6G threat landscape, while on the other hand to preserve the privacy of all actors in the 6G chain. Intrusive security cannot be any more considered acceptable. In this context, the mission of PRIVATEER is to pave the way for 6G “privacy-first security” by studying, designing and developing innovative security enablers for 6G networks, following a privacy-by-design approach. The PRIVATEER "privacy-first" 6G security framework will consist of a set of enablers built around four pillars: i) decentralised robust security analytics, towards avoiding data centralisation as well as AI mechanisms hardened against adversarial actions resulting in privacy breaches; ii) privacy-aware slicing and security service orchestration, introducing "privacy intent" as an additional factor affecting network service lifecycle management; iii) distributed attestation and identity check, making authentication and integrity verification more privacy-friendly; and iv) searchable encryption mechanisms for privacy-preserving Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) sharing. The integrated PRIVATEER framework will be deployed in a campus-wide B5G test network and evaluated against relevant vertical use case scenarios. The security enablers developed in PRIVATEER will complement (and be compatible with) “native” 5G/6G security controls as standardized by 3GPP for basic functionalities (network attachment, authentication, authorization etc.) to achieve a holistic, privacy-friendly security solution for future networks.

Professionals of different backgrounds will work together with end-users to develop, refine and combine selected tools into a single platform. In alignment to end-user needs, human factors, high ethical standards and societal impacts, DYNAMO includes the following goals: Resilience assessment as basis for BCM - An assessment with different levels of detail offers with varying existent data a fast or detailed evaluation of the investigated sector and helps to identify critical processes. - End-user data will be integrated to measure determined performance targets. With respect to the functional description, AI-based approaches will be used for a deeper understanding and potential self-learning of the interconnected process. - The results generate knowledge concerning susceptibility and vulnerability of the investigated sector. - The solutions support the BCM with respect to the five resilience phases. Leveraging CTI - CTI will be improved with respect to existing solutions (H2020 ECHO, PANACEA). - The H2020 Early Warning System (EWS) will be extended and integrated. A Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP) will be used to raise the situational awareness between different security actors. - The CTI approach deliver data that will be integrated into the resilience and BCM approach. The use of AI will support the development. Solutions will be integrated with the Cyber Knowledge Graph to visualize the analysis of threat intelligence. The DYNAMO platform will be able to collect organization’s skills data, elaborate and create custom tailored organisational training to improve organisational resilience which will be demonstrated within three different (cross-)sectoral use-cases.
