SolarCV aims to develop common frameworks of solar field operators with recognition at the European level. The general objectives are to make VET training more responsive to changing CSP skills needs in the labour market by preparing training programme for acquiring missing skills. The training includes strong component of work-based learning (WBL). Finally the project enables the mobility of learners, through the recognition of learning outcomes and by achieving qualifications. The project gathers 16 organisations from 5 countries which include solar energy VET experts, national sectoral associations, energy agencies, government representatives in the field of qualification, and 2 EU umbrella institutions. There are some main project results which can be underlined as objective-achievers (available on http://www.solar-cv.eu/results/) :•*(R1) Labour Market Network of CSP and VET experts that allowed to involve experts and entities beyond the partnership with the aim to increase the potential of project outcomes to be transferred/adapted and used beyond the partnership•(R2) Report on Skills and training provision needs per country and EU level that allowed to identify exactly the skill gaps•(R4) Report on current situation of non-formal, informal and formal training in the CSP sector and methodology for validation of non-formal and informal training. Both documents (R2 & R4) set not only the state-of-art and the analysis of training needs (i. on CSP – Plant Operators, but also allowed to pool of experience and knowledge from different partners in order to facilitate and improve the following tasks and products. (i.e. in Result n. 3) and to unify criteria and to clarify concepts.•(R3) Report on innovative tools from LLP projects designing EU competence profiles and EU CVs which gathers the best practices and tools for the definition of Competence Profiles, Curricula and learning units. •(R7, R8, R9 & R10) CSP solar field e-Simulator and Training platform including training materials that have been developed by European experts on CSP and training and have been tested on several pilot courses (R12) in different countries as Spain, Italy and Greece.•(R5 & R11) EU Competence Profile and EU CSP CV that standardise the skill set for the CSP sector at European level and have been developed European Qualification Structures (EQF and ECVET), quality principles (EQAVET) and following the classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO).•(R13) National proposals of European Qualification in order to scale the recognition of the EU CSP CV by promoting the adoption of this formal training structure in Spain, Italy and Greece. The results of the project have enabled organisations independent of their geographic location to acquire new qualifications. Regarding the impact, the project strengthens the contribution of education and training to the realisation of the objectives of EU 2020, in both priorities employment and sustainability. It contributes to the “ANTICIPATION and matching of labour market and skills needs” (Agenda for new skills and jobs) and creation of a European permanent learning space and mobility of workers. It is necessary to point out some results that will have a great importance beyond the project life such as the e-Simulator and training platform that will allow to train new professionals by using free training materials and tools made by the main associations of CSP sector in Europe. The SolarCV consortium has ensured the future viability of these tools (results) by the review activities set on the After-Project Impact Monitoring Plan (R17).

The main objectives of the project are : the acquisition of professional competences in the context of European LLL guidance, the development of language and intercultural skills, the sharing of knowledge about education and training systems in Europe, and the promotion of the benefits of a mobility week in a hosting partner structure. These mobilities are based on the exchange of practices on common themes. In the end the counselees will also benefit from the mobility of the guidance professionals. This project is proposed by a European partnership of institutions working in various and evolving contexts in the field of LLL guidance. The catalogue offers placements on transversal themes related to guidance. Guidance is at both a European and national level an important issue and a lever for achieving European goals concerning mobility, training and employment, above all for employment and education which are two of the five EU objectives in the Europe 2020 strategy.Participant ProfilesParticipants come from structures involved in LLL guidance. Guidance professionals must provide information and quality counselling to all target groups, especially to those who are furthest from training and employment. They work in a globalized economy, with a permanently changing European labour market that is in crisis, and where information technology and communication have grown extremely important. Information sources have multiplied, the number of guidance structures has increased, an so have the requests for counselling and support. At all levels professionals are asked to network and to be reactive in the implementation of training, employment and integration policies. If professionals need constantly updated information, they also raise questions regarding their identity, look for new ideas and feel the need to share and learn about other professionals. Methodology for the management of the projectThe partnership includes a European coordinator and national coordinators, hosting and sending institutions in each partner country. Together they define the themes that will be developed in the placements. Each coordinator organizes the placement(s) in his country, with hosting institutions that have expertise in counselling and guidance. The coordinator is responsible for the placements and the quality of their contents (information, exchange of best practices, placement periods, conviviality, evaluation). The coordinator also organizes the selection of the national professionals to be sent abraod.Expected results and impactsA Europass Mobility is given to each participant, describing the contents of the placement in terms of knowledge and skills. (professional and intercultural knowledge, exchange of best practices , initiation and implementation of professional networks, information on the European dimension of guidance, linguistic skills, knowledge in new tools, ... ).After the placement, the participant will become a multiplier of mobility. The participant will disseminate the results of the mobility experience with colleagues so that they can also benefit from the mobility and the Erasmus + activities .Through the sharing of innovative practices at a European level, the counselees of guidance professionals (youth, students and adults) will receive practical information, tips and counselling that take into account the European dimension and the benefits of the mobility experience. The results for the partnership are: a further development of transnational and national cooperation, and a strengthening of expertise in the field of guidance professionals' mobility.Potential long-term benefits- the development of the European dimension in guidance activities should benefit both the structures and their clients;- the implementation of new networks of professionals;- the evelopment of new mobility projects. (multiplication and innovation)- the exchange and dissemination of innovative practices implemented in Europe should help to reduce drop-out in education and training; and finallywww.euroguidance.eu/academia- the promotion of mobility, especially among the most vulnerable populations, should enable them to enhance their skills and improve their employability.www.euroguidance.eu/academiawww.facebook.com/pages/Erasmus-Academia-Exchange-Programme/366004653571358

The Live Skills Alliance was composed of a consortium of nine partners across 4 countries - including expert VET providers in the sector, associations of both employers and cultural professionals, a national accreditation and certification body, a cultural organisation and two European wide associated partners. Live Skills project has designed and delivered three comprehensive and innovative vocational education and training programmes for students and professionals in the Audio Visual and Live Performance sectors, after a thorough research which included desk research, surveys, personal interviews and focus groups, as well as evidence-based process and qualitative findings which identified current trends and skills needs in those sectors in the countries in focus. These results fed into the design of the three new training programmes/curricula, which were then tested through a two-stage pilot of courses and seminars following a blended learning methodology and culminated with a number of short work placements in cultural institutions and creative businesses. More than 655 learners have taken part in the training in the four countries and approximately 100 of them have been offered short work placements in about 25 cultural organisations in Bulgaria, Greece and the UK. The curricula have been made available for free use under creative commons licence on the project’s website that will remain operational for two more years in order to reach and impact a maximum number of stakeholders and learners, alongside with all other resources produced at various stages of the project addressed to students, cultural professionals, teachers, VET providers, employers in the sector as well as education authorities and policy makers. These 200+ free resources altogether, make a significant and holistic contribution to modernising VET education in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and the UK and boosting the cultural sector’s capacity to grow and respond to current and future market needs. The project also disseminated its outputs through the organisation of information days, participation in events organised by other stakeholders, a final international conference turned into a webinar during the COVID19 confinement, and the organisation of sustainability taster and demonstration workshops and policy symposia during the last phases of the project’s implementation, engaging other VET providers, education authorities and stakeholders at large. More than 5000 people in the EU accessed information and materials via the project’s events, website and social media pages. A robust Quality Assurance mechanism has accompanied the project throughout, and a Quality Assurance report was one of the project’s deliverables. In addition, an Evaluation and Quality Assurance Panel was formed, which had regular meetings, offering reviews and recommendations for every deliverable of the project, ensuring that the three curricula were of high quality and aligned with ECVET and EQAVET and that accreditation and transferability could be pursued further following the official closure of the project. Long-term procedures for Quality Assurance and accreditation of the curricula were among the outputs and will potentially support recognition and accreditation processes beyond the lifespan of the project. Finally, an Evaluation Report was produced by an external independent Evaluator which has followed the project throughout, and which reports very positive assessment of the project’s achievements and its quality.
