During planning and realization of this project we have leaned on a long-term cooperation in youth work developed in the last 4 years among different European partners within the framework of ORA Network (Observe, Rethink, Act). Thanks to our old and new partners during this project we had the opportunity to verify at grassroots level and through international dimension that the transverse skills that are increasingly needed for personal, civic and professional routes from youth to adulthood can be achieved through social entrepreneurship. We have focused on practical knowledge which participants gained and shared through project activities but also in their everyday, local work. In this way we have also empowered the network ORA because we used our own resources where is possible and contacts and educational paths from previous experiences. Having in mind that our partners are youth Centres, youth associations and organisations working with young people which are ""open spaces"" where young people are receiving support and guidance in the process of the personal and professional growth we wanted to ensure that partners can become for them as incubators for different socio – cultural and environmental micro-projects that offer the possibility for young people to discover and experience their potential, abilities, skills, inclinations and ambitions, while actively participating in a responsible way to the life of their community. Priorities of this project were to increase skills of professionals who are working with youth in order to empower their beneficiaries with ideas and basic knowledge how to develop social entrepreneurship. In order to realize this kind of project it was be very important to have contact with institutions who are giving support to development of social entrepreneurship. This was important both for youth organizations and young people in order to answer properly to the increasing demand for more wide support through youth work activities and to the professional needs expressed by several organisations engaged in youth work to raise their capacities to better perform and provide more useful services for economical sustainability of youth organizations and for young people with which they work. The overall aim of the project was to empower youth workers and organizations to use social entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainability of their work with and for young people. In this way partners gained innovative approaches. This meant to give all participants space to express their needs and expectations and together with them make “how to”. In order to achieve set objectives we implemented following activities: •A1 Study visit (Observe phase)•A2 Seminar (Rethink phase)•Recommendation with case studies and online toolkit•Incubator workshops activities•A3 Training course (Act phase)•A4 Conference on social entrepreneurship"

The concept/methodology underpinning ORA is to provide young people with the direct opportunity to Observe their context (both at a local and international level), to Rethink their own role (both as individuals and as members of society) and to Act as responsible citizens to strengthen the community. This project finds its roots in a Seminar realised by ORA Network in January 2016 and it was the direct follow up of a Capacity Building project applied to EACEA and implemented by ORA Network. The overall aim of the project was to realize a long term non-formal educational process at international level and among organisations (Youth Centres/Clubs, youth associations, associations of social promotion, cultural associations, NGOs) coming from 6 different European countries (EU and Western Balkans) able to empower the youth work that the partnership is realising on field with young people coming from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or vulnerable groups in order to generate innovative approaches in their daily activities, to acquire new methodologies and quality activities tools, to increase the competences of their youth/social workers to better include the different target groups in the social, cultural, and economic life of their communities. Through this multi-activity project our organisations was properly answering the demand and need of actions coming from different actors (young people, youth and social workers, youth centres, youth NGOs, Nature Reserves, local communities, etc.) to improve the efficiency and to enrich the quality of the work done at the grassroots level to broaden the opportunities for the social, cultural, environmental and economic inclusion of young people in the community, and to provide more useful services (educational, cultural, social, etc.) for the young people with whom they work. For these reasons, main activities implemented in the project are represented by 5 Job Shadowing nobilities and 1 Seminar. At it had participated 25 people among youth/social workers, peer educators, NGOs staff, volunteers, young artists, youth leaders and trainers including 2 facilitators from Germany and Bosnia Herzegovina. During all phases of the project there had been respected and applied the principles of non formal education (these include the methods of non-formal/ informal learning, ORA - Observe, Rethink, Act, experiential and active pedagogy, mentoring and/or peer support and relationship-based activities): all the methodologies that was used and activities proposed where designed to ensure the direct involvement of partners and participants at any time of the project promoting freedom of expression, exchange and cooperation, interaction and creativity. Most of the activities were based on participative/active learning combining theoretical and practical inputs coming from the team of facilitators or directly by the participants. Furthermore, the methodology used was strongly oriented in terms of intercultural learning paying attention to the cultural diversity represented by the partnership (EU and Western Balkans countries), promoting a good environment, mutual understanding and cooperation among all participants. All partner organizations was involved in all phases of the project by providing human and professional competences and, at the same time, contributing to the development of contents and activities together with the team of facilitators/trainers and the other partners. For these reasons, partners was responsible for part of the preparation (involvement and recruitment of participants, local partnership, preparatory work, travel details, transport and settlement, etc) and during the project activities implementation they was committed to the development of the activities in order to achieve the objectives planned and outcomes and results expected. During the project activities implementation partners had supported the exploitation of the results at local level and were developing common projects for future and current cooperation already.

One APV and two youth exchanges – one in Germany and one in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is follow up of two projects which are improving methodology and cooperation between partner organizations as well as empower youth for self-organizing of youth culture events and one which was focused at urban youth culture directly. This empowerment of youth through the guided learning process and in cooperation of youth centres is one of the main objectives of the project. This is especially important since young people next to empowerment will also have the support of organizations and other peers for practising youth culture activities which in small communities are marginalizing them. The project gathers four partners who work with youth in urban youth culture field, applicant form Germany, partners from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner from Serbia. Project participants are active in the different sphere of urban youth culture and youth activism. Other objectives which we will address together are focused on intercultural learning, intercultural cooperation and sharing of different experiences in urban youth culture. It is coming as one of the topics at the project which will enhance international cooperation between participants and partner organization and empower young people. Activities will enrich all participants since they will have the possibility to see what youth culture is in other participating countries and especially in the host countries since the project will take place before Creative August event in Banja Luka (it is offering creative possibilities to the young people coming from difficult background and who families are not in condition to go for vacations outside of the city but stays there during the summer holidays) and in the urban youth culture park, Mellowpark www.mellowpark.de which is offering a lot of possibilities to the young people of hosting district and it visitors. Being hosted in cities like Banja Luka and Berlin are is giving excellent impact on participants since youth urban and street culture is very developed and mostly affirmative accepted. There are places where project activities will take place and where participants will be accommodated as well. Both of the venue places are very big (for hosting countries national standard) and are youth-friendly, are covered with areas for a different urban artistic project and with green areas as well. In the case of the project in Berlin, it Mellowpark is as well one of the biggest parks of this type in Europe.<< Activities >>“Mellowproject for newcomers of international youth work II” is the project which combines 3 activities. One APV and two youth exchanges. APV and second youth exchange will take place in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, APV from 05.06.2019 till 08.06.2019 and Youth Exchange which will take place in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 19.09.2019 till 29.09.2019 and Berlin, Germany from 14.06.2019 till 24.6.2019. It gathers four partners who work with youth in urban youth culture field, applicant form Germany, partners from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner from Serbia. Project will gather 88 participants in total among which 40 participants per youth exchange: 32 participants active in the different sphere of urban youth culture and youth activism and 8 group leaders, one experienced youth workers who are helping young people in recognition of street culture, organizing of culture events for young people and one who is young person from different isolated communities active in youth culture per participating partner. Because of it together to intercultural learning, intercultural cooperation and sharing of different experiences in urban youth culture are coming as one of the topics at the project which will enhance international cooperation between participants and partner organization and empower young people to participate on project, better understand different culture and became more able to self organize events by themselves in cooperation with other subjects in the field of urban youth culture for which they are interested in. << Impact >>The main impact of the project will be visible at the participants, young people who will take part on its activities and also at young group leader who will be empowered and involved more in project management phase. Participants who are coming from multiple fewer opportunities will have a chance to do what they love to practice from the field of urban youth culture, to meet other people who practice the same from there and from other countries and to perform it together. Next to its interculturality, linguistic competences, organized safe and planned learning and networking participants will as well gather many skills related to performance, planning, understanding, youth programme and mobility opportunities which are existing. The project will have strong local impacts since participants of it will be in constant contact with other public events - Creative August and Mellowpark visitors and will share their project experiences with them. During work, moderators will use the non-formal methodology and in second parts of both youth exchanges, where participants will be involved in public event organizing it will be guided learning and learning by doing as one part of it.Also as one of the supported group activity is that groups create an event which is composed by all participants (this event will exist on both YE) and is a practical exercise, how self-organized events can be made possible. We want to make the participants more aware for cultural diversity and to give them the chance to rethink about citizenship and active participation in community and how they can use cooperation and learned lessons in their future work. This type of project work and participation achieved major successes in youth non-formal learning, especially in social skills as well as that it increases the willingness to take responsibility, in support with relevant local and international stakeholders focused at youth, art, street culture, urban life, constant change in the society and needs of youth.Cultural diversity and cultural learning are crucial for this project that’s why we choose partner organizations which on first look doesn't have so much common but culture and practice of youth work in all of them are different in general curricula and yet the same in goal and target group support which does this project focusing on.

The project was carried out in local partnership with the ORA Network e.V. and the environmental education centre ""Kienbergpark"" of Grün Berlin. Participating associations were ""EDEN"" from Albania, ""Udruzenje Crveno Drvo"" from Serbia, ""Agenda 21"" from Romania, ""Zdravo da Ste"" from Bosnia and Herzegovina and ""Axe Social"" from Spain. A preparatory meeting was held together with all participants.Grün Berlin supported the project by financing experts for photography and by paying the printing costs for the project results. The duration of the project was 3 months, starting from 01.08.2018, and included three mobilities and 8 local events of the partner organisations. The latter were exhibitions where the project results were presented in all participating countries. In September a preparatory meeting took place, which coordinated logistical preparations and enabled agreements on methodological work. In order to ensure young people's codecision and participation, young people were invited to this preparatory meeting in addition to the group leaders. The Youth Exchange took place from 28 October to 4 November 2018. The activity was carried out with five participants from each partner organisation, who were also accompanied by a group leader. During this activity the participants dealt with transport, water, landscape, pollution and waste as well as food and agriculture. Photographs on these topics were taken in the natural spaces in and around Berlin. Enriched with photos taken by the participants in the run-up to the youth meeting and incorporated into the project, a selection was exhibited and made available to the public. Each partner received this exhibition as a finished print so that he can use it in his permanent local environment and expand it if necessary. During the Youth Exchange the usual elements of intercultural learning were applied and the contents of the work were translated with methods of non-formal education. All in all, the expected objectives (increase of language skills, improvement of intercultural competence and cohesion, development of media literacy) were achieved. As a sustainable effect, we hope to have raised the awareness of the environmental and nature conservation participants and we are very confident that this cooperation also contributed to feeling European."

The combined methods of both projects had been complemented each other; they had improved the quality of youth work in participating organizations of both and this project, at other stakeholders and to the students of Alice Solomon school for applied science as well. However, the main focus is on explaining, discussing and writing about the importance of youth work for the personal development of young people, for increasing their active citizenship and for social progress, how it was developing and what had and is influencing it in different counties.Within the project had hold a seminar in which 8 partners from 8 countries participated. Each partner had participated with 3 participants, with at least one representative from local government and one representative from practical youth work to attend. Wherever possible, the scientific aspect was also taken into account and participants had gaining from this context. The seminar had 5 working days and had taken place in Berlin. Within this seminar, one day was designed as a symposium with other participants from science and practical work to increase the impact. Symposium was implemented in and in cooperation with Alice Solomon University for applied science - ASH https://www.ash-berlin.eu/en/ . All the activities during the project implementation were using non-formal working methods and are based on the contributions of all participants. The work results of the seminar aim was to increase the quality of the own work of the involved partners and the ability of the participants to argue for youth work as a way of non-formal and informal education. But we had also designed, published, and addressed a joint statement (communiqué) those responsible for providing youth work resources. During symposium it was very interesting discussions with students about youth work, it practices and it definitions in different countries in Europe and wider, how similar and how different it is and how certain practices can be used from one reality to other."
