GAEA is a forward-looking project, aiming to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education in the agriculture sector for young women not in employment, not in training (NEETs) living in rural areas. Aligned with the latest EU priorities, GAEA is fully encompassing the priority of sustainable development and green transition. The project is also aligned with the EU' Common Agricultural Policy. The project’s main aim is to provide a solid connection basis amongst the sector’s key stakeholders, through the introduction of a one-stop-shop digital platform. The platform, will include a number of key training material, industry links, mentorship and coaching opportunities, and a highly innovative AI-powered application which will give the opportunity to young women to assess their skills based on ESCO classification. The multidisciplinary partnership, represented by 13 partners in 10 EU countries, will deliver a pan-European digital ecosystem for young women agri-preneurs, developed in such a manner that it can be sustained and further developed after the 3-year project duration. GAEA will place special emphasis on delivering an innovative, hybrid approach towards learning based on both physical, practical training and on digital training, through a digital platform. The platform will be embedded with a highly innovative AI mobile application, which will offer the trainees the opportunity to perform a skills-assessment; powered by AI technology, the trainees will have access to an accurate skill-profiling, which will be used as a basis to select the best matching career for them. The project will also feature a highly interactive face-to-face bootcamp, addressed both to trainers and trainees from all participating partnership countries, which will have as a main aim to transfer skills and knowledge in the areas of agriculture & entrepreneurship, through innovative approaches. The project is comprised of 9 WPs, aiming to deliver the project’s innovative training programme, the digital platform, the bootcamp and a well-structured policy recommendation report. Three WPs are horizontal, and relate to Project Management, Dissemination, and Quality Assurance. The consortium to implement this project is a cluster of various respectable entities in the educational, entrepreneurial, agricultural, technological and research sectors from all over Europe. Therefore, the partners come from the Southern Europe (Cyprus-Greece-Spain) Central Europe (Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia) and Northern Europe (Norway) resulting to a very geographically balanced team, thus tackling the project’s aspirations in EU widely.

TRAILS proposes a holistic approach to identifying the conditions for skills gaps and shortages across European countries and to contributing to policy actions. Its approach involves all conceptual and theoretical models of optimal skills match and utilization by workplaces, new methodologies for measuring skill gaps, and understanding optimal ways to skills upskilling and reskilling. It involves novel primary datasets, state-of-the-art big datasets from administrative records matched to firms and workplaces, innovative inquiries with large secondary datasets that are merged with taxonomies and other sources to enable pathbreaking analyses, field and stated-preference experiments, along with boost samples of groups of particular interest, such as platform workers and other stakeholders. All these elements will produce a canvas that enables a new framework for identifying the conditions and the elements required for the development of skills matched to the needs. It will allow the inspection of relevant behavioural, societal, and cultural dimensions affecting participation and choice of training and learning programmes by individuals. Moreover, the project will propose aims and objectives for basic and transferable skills that are seen as most conducive to European labour mobility towards the green and digital jobs of the future. Finally, the project will propose ways to optimize the usage of new technology-enhanced ways of bridging the gap between labour supply and demand in matching skills to needs. Via the usage of AI methods and the large-scale piloting, the project will propose ways that empower skills profiling and intelligence in ways that raise awareness of training programmes matched to the needs of individuals and the jobs of the future for European labour markets. Ultimately, a TRAILS’s web-based tool will be developed to bring together new datasets and insights for policy makers and to raise citizens’ awareness regarding transferable skills and training p

Although the potential of Artificial Intelligence is undeniable, it remains largely untapped. The AI4AL consortium believes that AI-assisted services could transform adult learning provision by leading to improved skills assessment and tailor-made learning opportunities. At the same time, most adult educators express their mistrust towards AI. The overall goal of AI4AL is to facilitate a conscious acceptance of AI technologies in the Adult Learning and Education (ALE) sector. To achieve this goal, three specific objectives have been defined. 1-To develop a methodology and tools for direct involvement of adult educators in the process of adopting AI-based technologies. 2- To facilitate definition of personalized training offers by adult educators. 3- To train adult educators on the use of AI4AL and the application of AI technologies in ALE.To achieve the objectives, the consortium will develop an engagement kit, which will include a methodological guide and a repository of use cases. As a second step, the partners will establish “AI4AL”, a matching tool that uses AI to link the assessment of the need for basic digital skills to the offer of microcredentials. Finally, the consortium will create a toolkit for training adult educators on the use of AI4AL and the application of AI technologies to the ALE sector. 150 adult educators will be trained on the use of the engagement kit, and will later test the matching tool with their learners. In total, at least 1,000 adult learners will directly benefit from the project. More adult educators and learners will be able to take the course online through self-paced study. Thanks to the involvement of two European associations, EAEA and AD, results will be shared with more than 200 organisations from 43 European countries. The consortium will organise their work in 5 work packages and will produce 10 deliverables of different types: documents, datasets, pilots. The project will start on 1/11/2022 and will end on 31/10/2024.

ARCOE aims to create a virtual talent innovation ecosystem hub to improve HR practices, career development and research collaboration. First, an in-depth organisational assessment will be conducted, including an analysis in the Widera countries, to assess career development frameworks, HR practices and alignment with the Research Charter. A gap analysis will then be performed to identify areas requiring improvement. The hub will assist researchers in their professional development by acting as a centralised place for networking, training and career development. Training programmes and career services focusing on digital transformation, deep tech industries and the Green Deal will be created through the hub. The project will assist 15 participating organisations in applying for HRS4R, ensuring compliance with strict guidelines for the recruitment of researchers. In addition, emphasis will be placed on networking and collaboration between the academic and non-academic sectors through the Meet&Match system in the ecosystem hub, to enhance alliances and encourage researcher mobility. As for the Virtual Hub, a long-term business plan will be created to ensure its viability even after the project has ended. In addition, ARCOE will implement a comprehensive communication and distribution plan to ensure maximum impact and reach. To maximise the project's influence and promote international cooperation, synergies with other projects and programmes will be explored. In conclusion, ARCOE is dedicated to fostering talent ecosystems that create attractive and sustainable initial research careers. Through this initiative, we aim to improve mobility, collaboration and career opportunities in all areas, to empower the next generation of researchers and strengthen the European research and innovation landscape.
