"Blue tourism in a rising sector. Taking into consideration the annual economic report on the blue economy of the EU presented by the European Commission, ""coastal tourism is the largest contributor in terms of jobs, value added and profits, contributing significantly more to jobs than to GVA and / or profits "". Thus, the blue tourism sector has a special potential to encourage the development of new companies, which entails the implementation of actions that benefit both the improvement of the professional skills of graduates and university students with an entrepreneurial character in the knowledge of blue tourism as a greater involvement of the universities in the incorporation of educational programs of entrepreneurship in blue tourism in their curricula and the corresponding active participation of their professors. The objectives of the BT Opportunities project are:1.- The improvement of business skills, including the business social skills of graduates in higher education.2.- The implementation of curricula and training programs in universities that meet the needs of the blue tourism industry.3.- The improvement of the professional competence of university professors in relation to the MOOC method in areas related to entrepreneurship in blue tourism.4.- The use of mentoring as a collaboration and support tool between the university / professor /student on the blue tourism business spirit. In order to achieve these objectives, a training course with two training modules will be designed related to entrepreneurship in blue tourism following the methodological framework of ECVET and EntreComp (The Entrepreneurship Competence Framework) that facilitates the validation and recognition of the skills and professional knowledge acquired In the entrepreneurship of the blue tourism in the different education systems and countries of the EU, on the other hand, a mentoring platform in blue tourism entrepreneurship will be developed in which professors and students or graduates with entrepreneurial spirit can interact for the implementation in of their business. Likewise and in order to give an added value to the project, university professors will be trained in the use of MOOC as a didactic method for entrepreneurship courses in blue tourism. The target groups of the project, all of them directly or indirectly participating in the problem of this group, are the following:-Universities linked to the tourism sector-Students and university graduates with entrepreneurial character-University teachers-Organizations and entrepreneur associations-Chambers of Commerce-Interpreneur support centers, start-up incubatorsIn order to achieve the project's objectives, innovative methodologies will be used (MOOC, mentoring platform ""in the cloud""), with the aim of enhancing their use as a didactic and interrelational means student-teacher-mentor and of obtaining benefits to medium-long term on the utility of these tools as a means of improving the professional skills of users both at the student and teacher levels. The transnationality of the present project is fundamental to make known the objectives of the project as well as the results obtained and the different products developed, for this reason we have formed an international and multidisciplinary consortium with sufficient experience in both blue tourism and innovative teaching tools to enrich the project and to achieve the scope and quality of the results sought for the recipients of it:- Szkola Glowna Turystyki i Hotelarstwa Vistula - Coordinator (Poland)- ASOCIACION DE INNOVACION EMPRENDIMIENTO Y TECNOLOGIAS DE LA INFORMACION Y LA COMUNICACION (INNETICA) (Spain)- INSTITUT NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE IN TURISM (Romania)- ESE, Ensino Superior Empresarial, LDA. "<< Background >>One of the most important social transformations that have occurred in recent years is related to the greater life expectancy of people. The aging of the population is therefore a worldwide phenomenon and one of the main challenges facing the European Union. The Council of the European Union is committed to the right of elderly people to a dignified life, to promote their independence and participation in social, economic and civic life, as well as to ensure that older groups remain active as citizens, workers, consumers, caregivers and volunteers. Thus, one of the measures proposed is the participation of the elderly in training and lifelong learning activities. It is clear that the group of elderly people travels more and more to other countries and establishes relationships with people who speak other languages. For this, the study of languages and more specifically of English is very important.<< Objectives >>The objectives of our project are:- To improve and to expand the offer of high quality learning opportunities adapted to the needs of older people to improve their multilingual skills (English language learning) and digital skills.- To expand and to develop the skills of trainers and other staff that support older people, especially to motivate them to participate in foreign language learning and effective teaching. The target group we are targeting is twofold:- Teachers / staff who support the teaching of foreign languages to the elderly.- Elderly people with an interest in learning languages and having a low level of knowledge of English.<< Implementation >>For this, an e-learning platform will be developed for elderly people who are learning English as a foreign language, a study material (textbook) for students (seniors) and the methodology manual for trainers. The e-learning platform will serve as a means of support for learning the language and checking older people to verify what they do in regular (face-to-face) classes. Therefore, it will complement his studies, since his need for repetition and revision is greater compared to other age groups. The e-learning platform and the textbook, which is going to be an interactive PDF, mainly focus on everyday situations with all those who have to deal with, so the main objective is to develop the communication skills of the elders (without taking much of the grammar). It will cover topics such as introducing yourself to family and friends, in a cafe, shopping, asking for directions, at the train/airport station, at the doctor, in a hotel, at a bank, my hobbies and my free time, etc.The e-learning platform includes pictures and links to videos of the previously mentioned communication situations. In addition to the sample situations, the e-learning platform also includes phrases, vocabulary and some more common exercises to practice the English language. The project also includes training for trainers on how to use the e-learning platform, problems are the specific characteristics of the teaching of older adults, etc., as well as a manual to teach them about how to incorporate the CLIL methodology correctly and apply it to the teaching of their senior students. To develop the project, a transnational consortium has been created in which the following partners contribute to the realization of the results:- INBIE (Poland) - INNETICA (Spain).- Glandrive, Unipessoal LDA (Portugal).- Minerva - CEPD (Slovakia).- SHEM (Turkey).<< Results >>The results of the project include the development of two intellectual products:1. English textbook for seniors + e-learning platform.2. Practical manual for language trainers for the elderly. In addition, a ""Course on language teaching methodology for the elderly"" will be conducted in which 22 English trainers are trained on the methodology necessary to teach this language to the elderly with a low level of knowledge.Five multiplier events are organized by each of the partners in their affected countries in which the intellectual products will be announced to different groups of stakeholders."
