"“No one will be left behind” ; a commitment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In every country, people and social groups still face obstacles stopping them from completely contributing in social, economic and political life. It reports that social exclusion continues to exist as individuals are denied “access to resources, of voice and of the respect for rights, based on a person’s age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, origin or economic or other status.” Our project will promote social inclusion ""Leaving No One behind"" and highlight universal methods should be created together with social services/organisations, to break the cycle of poverty. We have a unique combination of organisation within this project; each partner has a specific non-formal method, target group and project delivery area. This combination can introduce new ideas and true social inclusion within each organisation which is an innovative approach that considers all talents and skills of young people that formal education excludes. This combination will provide opportunities to expand each other capacity through the exchange of new approaches and professionals. The project title summarizes the overall concept of the project as we believe we should “Leave No One Behind” especially young people, no matter age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, origin or economic or other status. “ASI” – “Art of Sustainable Innovation” project is primarily focusing its aim at deploying Social Innovation and Circular Economy as a mean for inclusion, active citizenship and solidarity, employability and entrepreneurship among youth with fewer opportunities in disadvantaged rural communities in Europe and Asia. By this we are promoting and reinforcing the connection between Youth NGOs, youth operators and local stakeholders in the field of Social Innovation & Circular Economy around developing tools and skills that are aimed to guide youth at using the local resources, sustainability, an finally develop social enterprises that are answering needs in their communities. According to the World Economic Forum Report for 2019 “Environment-related risks account for three of the top five risks by likelihood and four by impact…The world’s political geography is being transformed by surging migration from rural to urban areas, straining the web of connections between the two. Divergences are widening on numerous dimensions, such as values, age, education, power and prosperity.” Rural areas pose a great potential to stimulate social innovation and circular economy, the entrepreneurial use of local resources.Further, the European Commission adopted an action plan in 2015 to help accelerate Europe's transition towards a circular economy. The project is designed to focus on employability and environmental issues approaching those from the perspective of entrepreneurship, with the core target groups of (a) young people with fewer opportunities from rural areas aged (14-30 yrs) who have technological resources (at least smart phones) and (b) youth workers who are using non formal education in their work with youngsters. The project is also aimed to enhance the organisational capacity and skills of the participating organisations and even reaching further to their local networks promoting the outcomes of a valuable transcontinental partnership. The final outputs of the project comprise:a) Format TC “Art in Innovation” creating innovative methodologies for raising awareness of various approaches towards starting social enterprises which are sustainable and non-polluting, and transferring those to youth workers and target groupsb) “YOUnnovate” web platform is going to share all the resources created during this project: methods, video tutorials, circular economy approaches/resources/network, video testimonials and personal experience, e-book/booklet of tools, documents, best practices, tools and resources for entrepreneurs, skills and approaches to find employment,c) “YOUnnovate methodologies” e-book comprising NFE tools, resources for social innovation & circular economy, explanation of the concepts, global trends, possibilities and opportunities, proven methods of success. The web platform will be made available since the beginning of the project and constantly updated, promoted and available after the completion of the project too.

STEP to Change is a project which aims at starting an empowerment process for International Voluntary Service (IVS) organisations, bringing competences on organisational management, impact measurement and improvement, and by allowing to make a first global diagnosis of the existing needs and capacities of IVS members and regions worldwide. The proposal follows the mission of the CCIVS which is, among other functions, to empower its members and IVS orgs so that they will have better capacity to reach their goals and achieve their vision as ngo's and as a movement. The General Assembly of the CCIVS 2014 in Korea approved a plan for the CCIVS to implement an Empowerment & Monitoring system which should allow to assess the needs of IVS ngo's, provide them with support, trainings and synergies, which may turn weaknesses into strengths and opportunities. This project aims at being the start for the implementation of such a system within the CCIVS. It will also allow to complete a global Impact research on IVS.The general process, priorities and baselines will be arranged by a Steering Team (ST), which will be formed by representatives of 4 IVS networks and a team of 4 experts, in the seminar Setting the Path (France, March'17). There, experts will finetune and develop the tools, and implement a peer-training, to ensure a highlevel of quality for the next phases. The central events of this project will be the regional STEPs (Strategic Trainings for Empowerment Processes), which will happen one in each region(Africa, America, Asia, Europe), led by the team of experts. Each of these STEPs will consist on a first international training on organisational management and impact measurement, for partners in the region, which will allow also to complete a needs-assessment of the participating ngo's. The training will be followed by a field itinerary, which will lead experts to visit each of the countries of the participating ngo's, to lead training, impact measurement of IVS projects and field visits.Outcomes of the STEPs will be global/regional needs-assessment and impact measurement of ngo's in 20 countries, worldwide, and trained professionals. All these materials will be processed by the team of experts, with the help of the ST, to create a first global diagnosis of needs in the movement, and a global report of the impact of IVS.The final seminar Build the Common Path (Hungary, May'18), will have two main goals: first, to process, discuss and valorise the results of the global research-training; second, to build common strategies to set up the long term Monitoring and Empowerment programme of the CCIVS, including fundraising and sustainability strategies adapted to each region and donor.STEP to Change will leave empowered multipliers in 4 continents, trained professionals, a global report on Impact of IVS and a first global diagnosis of the IVS movement, basis for a common strategy for a long-term Empowerment & Monitoring programme for the movement.

Historically, young people have faced social exclusion, and the recent economic downturn has prompted high unemployment, which particularly affects the younger generation. However, some disadvantaged groups of young people face exclusion in the longer term for reasons beyond the current crisis. Remaining outside the global labor market has far-reaching consequences – not solely economic. These include a loss of confidence,an undermining of trust and expectations, and an increasing risk of social exclusion and disengagement from society. Apart from the economical crisis there are other issues that affect youth and lead to political crisis. Global threats such as terroristic attacks and armed conflicts caused a huge refugee and migration wave in Europe. These and many other factors stipulate increasing of intolerance, xenophobia, violence, conflicts oriented by cultural fears, numerous stereotypes and prejudices, intercultural misunderstanding, inability to think critically and lack of intercultural competence in general. Young people are more than others affected by those issues, especially being in a situation of current economic crisis. They feel afraid, they are frustrated, they don’t know what to feel and how to react, as a result they became either amorphus or join the extremist movements, and they definitely need to be supported in this hard situation by adults, by peers, by educational institution, by NGOs and by policy makers. Tackling youth unemployment, social exclusion, intercultural communication and youth participation continues to be a policy priority for European and national governments and the need to empower young people is increasingly recognized in this process. We see youth empowerment as an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people gain the ability, authority, and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people, including youth and adults. In other words empowered young people will exercise power over one’s life by being skilled, critically aware, and active in creating community change. The long-term project “InFormal – integration of non-formal education approach to the formal education system for youth empowerment at local level” is an attempt to use non-formal education as a tool for youth empowerment in order to address all the mentioned issues and to build a stable and productive trans-national co-working platform for educators coming from formal education and youth field (NGOs and other youth authorities). LTTC objectives: • To unite efforts of youth workers coming from formal and other youth field backgrounds for youth empowerment at local level by using non-formal education • To build a cross sectorial network and to create joined actions to address the current challenges or for addressing the current challenges • To build a necessary set of competences for proficient use of NFE instruments and tools for youth empowerment at local level • To discuss the recognition of competences gained by NFE • To provide the possibility to plan, experiment and to get feedback to the NFE activities • To introduce and discuss the ways of integration of NFE activities to the system of formal education • To provide the opportunity to assess the quality of NFE activities and youth empowerment process at local level • To create a detailed guide in English with recommendations and concrete examples and references of using non-formal education approach within formal system. It will be uploaded to the online platform and shared though the aprtners network. The training course will unite 35 youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, professors, community leaders, and youth policy makers coming from Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Korea, Luxembourg, Italy and Poland committed for long- term learning process and social change. After the project course we expect our participants:to change their way of work and to make it more participative and transparent for youth; to understand the approach and principles of non-formal education and to use it for youth empowerment;to be able to use non-formal education tools during lessons, lectures, meetings, sessions, training activities they organize – giving more freedom and responsibility to learners;to be equipped with a set of other tools of youth empowerment (coaching and mentoring); o become active actors in promoting youth participation at local level. As for the methods, all of them will be non-formal,no-frontal.The wider impact is on partner organizations. This can be called European level impact. By innovating their approaches partners can plan high quality projects and organize own trainings and multiplying the results of this projects separately in each country. Moreover, it is expected that this project will strenghten bonds between partner organizations even more, and they can also learn from new ones in the partnership, so it would result in further common projects.
