This goal was achieved so that these trainers and trainers could work in a more conscious and targeted way with their clients in the area of gender and as persons significant for youth could influence the shaping of their thinking about stereotypes and gender roles. The project involved 26 participants from the following countries: Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland. The main activity of the project was the training of youth workers, which took place from 11 to 16 May 2019 in Zakopane (plus two travel days 10 May - day of arrival and 17 May - day of departure). This project, through several stages of activities, prepared our beneficiaries and our beneficiaries to work with young people on gender issues, equipping them with tools and methods to work with these topics, where the main method used by participants and participants was the method of Forum Theatre. It was its elements that were practised during the training. Specific objectives, such as: overcoming existing habits and stereotypes concerning female and male social roles; shaping critical thinking and responding to images and texts presenting stereotypical social roles contained in cultural and media messages; drawing attention to the stereotypes proposed in education systems, in everyday family life, at work - were achieved, mainly thanks to presentations prepared by participants and participants from different organizations and countries. These presentations, as well as the lecture on ""What, is gender"" helped to agree on the concept.Consequently, further specific objectives were also achieved (increasing critical use of media and other cultural sources, increasing knowledge, awareness and sensitivity to diversity, equal treatment and the risk of discrimination), because during the discussion, which was the result of these presentations, there were conclusions about the attention to be paid to the language we communicate with others. Participants and participants pointed out that the language may include discrimination and unequal treatment of others. This resulted in further actions: specific objectives (promoting gender equality by paying attention to elements of the language of communication, creating a new language of dialogue between the sexes based on mutual recognition and respect and raising awareness of the need for gender egalitarianism) were pursued during the creation of Forum Theatre scenes, translating the conclusions of the discussion and drawing attention to language. The result of this work were scenes and sessions of Forum Theatre, which participants and participants could watch, comment on and above all practice the method. The result of the project was that on the basis of their own experience, participants and participants created their own workshops for young people, using elements of the TF method. Thus, they increased their professional competences and consolidated the knowledge gained by their own learning. In addition, participants and participants conducted workshops in their organizations using the TF method to disseminate it in their environment and to allow more people to use it. A brochure with scenarios of Forum Theatre performances with expert commentary was created, as well as case studies on the perception of gender in one's own country and in one's own environment and gender equality issues at school, at work, in the family (https://www.salto-youth.net/tools/toolbox/tool/let-s-talk-how-we-talk-about-gender.2626/). A long-term benefit that has been achieved is the dissemination of the Forum Theatre method as a tool for discussing important social issues." In contrast the negative political populism is also growing. In such political polarization, young people especially those with minority and migrant backgrounds are the most vulnerable. These appearances make even more complicated the social-political inclusion of the migrants and minorities. Many reports, including the latest finding of FRA – Fundamental Rights Report 2018, are reflecting on the widespread socio-economic disadvantages of these groups of young people. Minority are victims of numerous and varied human rights violation. When issues of discrimination and identity development are coupled with factors such as fewer educational opportunities, limited access to social rights, some migrants and ethnic minority youth face a dual degree of vulnerability that places them at greater risk for negative outcomes. Lack of education leads to denial of civil and political rights, including rights to freedom of movement and freedom of expression, and limits participation in the cultural, social and economic life and in public affairs. The aim of the project is combat the human rights violation, prevent radicalization towards migrants and minorities by building capacities of youth workers and multiplayer on Human Right Education, Diversity and Tolerance. The following objectiveswere achieved: - increased participants knowledge about: HRE, social exclusion, intercultural dialogue and tolerance in youth work with migrants and minority people in order to prevent radicalization and human rights violations- awared of importance of cultural diversity on local, regional and international level and to develop skills and attitudes to motivate and actively involve migrant and minorities in human rights youth projects as preventing radicalization - developed practical competencies in Non Formal Education-specifically in HRE methods with migrant and minority people - developed a strong network and possibly plan for future cooperation focusing on cultural diversity and active participation of migrant and minorities in order to prevent radicalization. The event took place in period 11-19 May 2019 and it gathered 32 participants. The training course engaged1.youth workers who are working with migrants and minorities;2. migrants and minorities who act as multipliers who are engaged in minorities and migrants rights, as well as general intercultural education with young members of a national, ethnic or language minority, returned asylum seekers, Roma as the biggest minority group in Europe. As results and impact attained all participants developed local Initiatives, some of them purposely developed for ESC funds, initiatives and actions for combating human rights violations by using HRE and applying lessons learned and skills from this training. There were very concrete initiatives aimed to raise awarness for Human rights of certain group in need in their country. The main reasons for non-participation are: financial (12.2%), no interest (28.1%), no such activity in the neighborhood (23.6%) and others (36.1%).In our project we will refer in particular to two of them:- lack of interest and, especially, limited / non-existent cultural activities; the main impediments for young people living in rural areas, where the cultural-artistic offer is significantly lower or non-existent, compared to urban areas.Art and culture programs within local and regional communities can help connect communities, encourage participation. They can offer something interesting and different from the daily ""norm"" and can be educational. According to the European Network for Rural Development, art and culture can play an important role in improving rural areas and the quality of life of people living there. They can help to create new connections and bring together different communities ( eg urban and rural, farmers and customers, rural communities and local governments), improve communication about rural areas, contribute to the improvement of common cultural identity and employ disadvantaged groups with limited opportunities. The “A(rt)CTIVE” project is an opportunity for 5 NGOs with a total of 25 participants and 5 group leaders to meet directly, over 8 days, to discuss and put into practice the importance of the spirit. civics and active citizenship through art.• Mural art, which will help them to express their civic spirit in a creative way.• The Forum Theater, which will provide participants with a safe environment to express possible scenarios in our society in which today's young people can be active in their community and how to motivate the rest of the community to participate in their activities;• Creating an online website, dedicated to identifying and promoting the factors of change in rural areas in Romania, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic and Bulgaria that can inspire young people who want to move to rural areas;• Flash mob, which will raise awareness among local communities about the civic spirit and its importance in becoming an active citizen. The objectives of our project are the following:- to motivate the 25 participants + 5 group leaders who come from 5 different countries, to express their civic spirit in a creative way using mural art, flash mob and forum theater.- to create a safe environment for all 25 participants + 5 group leaders from 5 different countries, so that they can ""spread their wings"" and take the initiative to become active citizens;- to further motivate the 25 participants + 5 group leaders to become active volunteers in their country;- to increase self-esteem and self-confidence among all 25 participants + 5 group leaders through adequate feedback during and after each workshop session;- raise awareness among local communities about the importance of civic spirit and how it improves our society and lifestyle;- to promote the values of non-formal education and the benefits of the Erasmus + program in all 5 countries participating in the youth exchange, with the help of the final video and the flash mob of our project;<< Implementation >>""A(rt)CTIVE"" is a project that will take place in the Cold Mountain village, 30 km from the city of Cluj - Napoca in a camp, between 01.05.2023 - 08.05.2023 the date of arrival and departure being April 30 respectively 09.05.2022 which means that we have a total of 8 days of activities. The youth exchange will bring together a total of 25 participants aged 18-26 and 5 group leaders over 18, from 5 different countries: Romania, Spain, Greece, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. From each country we will have 4 participants with reduced opportunities. Because this project belongs to all partners, it means that they have the role of promoting the results of the project at home. They will also need to identify rural change factors in their countries and promote them on the project website / website. Out of a total of 25 participants (excluding group leaders), we will have 20 young people with reduced opportunities.<< Results >>Participants who come to this youth exchange will gain more knowledge about what it means to show that you have a civic spirit. They will better understand better English due to the fact that it will be our working language, in addition, self-esteem and a sense of initiative will be increased thanks to public speaking workshops and the forum theater play. The 25 participants will develop a positive approach to other cultures and will become more independent in daily life and will be able to work better in a team thanks to the team building activities, as well as intercultural evenings that will offer them more information about the culture and traditions of other participants. 25 participants will become more motivated in their volunteer work due to the different creative workshops they will organize, in order to be able to express their civic spirit:- they will offer strong messages to everyone everywhere which will be achieved with the help of mural art sessions and the forum theater play. Because we will create a safe environment, all 25 participants will be able to develop and improve their lifelong learning skills, such as:- mathematical skills (calculating the amount of paints and sprays for mural art, calculating the time required for the forum play and freeze flash mob)We strongly believe that the attitude of all participants towards the civic spirit and their involvement will change and they will better understand the concept of active citizenship and the impact that their own actions can have on the community.Young people will improve their communication skills, because they will work in teams, communication in foreign languages, because during the exchange they will speak English and will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and learn expressions from the other languages of the countries present. They will improve their digital skills and IT skills, as they will complete the registration form and promote the A(rt)CTIVE project, activities and online website. They will win a lot of knowledge about the other countries, and thus they will develop their cultural skills, because they will interact with people from 5 countries, coming from different backgrounds. Also during this meeting will be developed European values, citizenship and the courage to stand up and speak in front of an audience, fight for their ideas and rights, because in the program we will have sessions dedicated to this issue. Being responsible for one session, each group of young people will have the opportunity to express themselves and influence the learning and creation process. They will also have to complete the Youthpass certificate online, where they will learn to express themselves using correct political language that will highlight the skills and competencies acquired during our project; All participants will be involved in the main dissemination tool of this project - the A(rt)CTIVE website. The role of this online tool will be to identify and promote rural change factors in Romania, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic and Bulgaria, people who innovate in the rural environment and communities through their work and projects and who can become role models for young people who intend to move to the rural areas. At the beginning, examples of rural change factors in Romania will be published. After the mobility, in the dissemination process, each partner will have the task of identifying and promoting the factors of change in the rural environment in their country. The website will continue to be used after the end of the project, other changes in rural life in other European countries can be promoted and will help to organize new similar projects in the future." In this project we will use games as a tool that offers us the possibility to overcome the language barrier in order to share experiences. The common rules of the game and the similar types of games in several European countries allow people speaking different languages to play together. With the use of language animation we will discover the same or similar words in different languages, create confidence in the foreign language skills of the young people and strengthen the motivation to start or continue their learning in the same ones. The specific objectives of this project are the following: - To use language animation as a very useful tool to encourage communication in Erasmus+ projects and motivation for language learning. - To give young workers different tools to use language animation both in participation and in the organization of international projects. - To exchange experiences, good practices and methodological tools related to language animation. - To work on the creation of language animation resources that can be consulted and used in future international projects. - To create a network of partnerships to develop future projects promoting language animation in different social areas. << Implementation >>""LET’S SPEAK"" is a project for 26 youth workers from 8 organizations from 8 different countries (France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Turkey, North Macedonia, Romania). The training will take place in Hamburg from 11st to 18th March 2024. The participants of this training will be youth workers, who are interested in or work in contact with young people in their associations or at work in their local communities, such as teachers, trainers, volunteers, mentors, etc., and who want to have a first approach to the project theme. In addition, youth workers must have knowledge of at least 2 languages (English and mother tongue) and knowledge of another language would be a major asset. Specific activities to the non-formal methodology will be developed with planned objectives according to the needs of the participating organizations. << Results >>Youth workers will acquire new knowledge and tools and develop attitudes and skills necessary for the implementation and development of projects within their respective organizations and local communities. In particular, this project will help youth workers to: - Discover the language and culture of other participants and reflect on their own language and culture. - Develop awareness and curiosity about the language and culture of others. - Become familiar with the principles and objectives of language facilitation, language acquisition activities, group dynamics, the role of the language facilitator, intercultural learning, etc. - Meet a new professional figure: the ""language facilitator"", an innovative set of skills that combines language teaching skills with the typical skills of social facilitators and intercultural mediators. - To get playful resources in language animation to apply in their daily work with their organizations and with the their local communities." - assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:Greek Youth Mobility - GYM, ASSOCIACIO GLOBERS, ASOCIATIA TINERILOR CU INITIATIVA CIVICA, ASSOCIACIO GLOBERS, Greek Youth Mobility - GYM +2 partnersGreek Youth Mobility - GYM,ASSOCIACIO GLOBERS,ASOCIATIA TINERILOR CU INITIATIVA CIVICA,ASSOCIACIO GLOBERS,Greek Youth Mobility - GYM,a12bb44ce3fc324c1e8ac8593345a0f4,ASOCIATIA TINERILOR CU INITIATIVA CIVICAFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-2-IT03-KA105-018866Funder Contribution: 20,480 EUR- "<< Objectives >>The ""ColtArte"" project aims to promote youth-led urban regeneration paths and experiences in different European contexts. In particular, we want to develop a strategy of activities, initiatives and good practices for the reuse and restitution of abandoned structures and spaces to local communities, shared by several organizations at European level. We want to intervene especially in the suburbs The participants will take care, in international groups, of the drafting of the proposals that will be part of the strategy. We want to promote among young people, also involving young people with fewer opportunities from peripheral areas, the design of alternative strategies for the regeneration of places that can be applied to the territories of origin, especially in the more peripheral areas. With the ""regeneration of public goods"" we intend to focus on the recovery processes, for social purposes, of abandoned spaces, to transform them into aggregation centers and social services for citizens. The public space as a meeting and sharing place is in fact in crisis, and often, especially in small towns but also in medium-sized cities, there are no places of aggregation capable of responding to the needs of citizens, especially the younger ones. social housing areas, which have turned into dormitory areas or, worse, into areas of social exclusion and crime proliferation. The lack of a public sharing space also makes the experiences of active citizenship produced by cultural associations marginal. The ""ColtArte"" project promotes a philosophy of recovery and reuse of assets, promoting respect for the environment and human relationships, especially in relation to values such as solidarity and sharing. The starting point and test point for the strategy will be a building, which the municipality of Caserta entrusted in the year 2019 to the ""Free Generation"" association (applicant for this project). Specifically, it is an ex-kindergarten in a public housing area in the hamlet of Tuoro which has already undergone adaptation works to make it a place for youth gatherings between the end of the year 2019 and the beginning of the 2020, creative, after-school and tetral workshops were created. Inside the structure, the participants will carry out some activities and organize an evening to experiment and test, with the local population, some of the activities, initiatives and best practices of the strategy. In line with the Lisbon Treaty and with the objectives of the Erasmus + program, the project aims to:- encourage the active participation of young people in democratic life, creating a more cohesive and inclusive society;- promote the sense of belonging to the community;- promoting the social integration of the most disadvantaged groups;- create a European cooperation network in the youth field, promoting the shared strategy, foreseeing the possibility of being able to extend it to other associations in the future. Finally, according to what is also present in the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, we believe that our work with young people with economic and social difficulties can have positive effects as regards the fight against social exclusion. The specific objectives of the ""ColtArte"" project are:- Define a strategy, common to several associations at European level, of activities and good practices for the reuse of disused public spaces;- Approach the new generations to the care and management of their territories;- Include young people with fewer opportunities within this strategy definition process;- Stimulate the participation of young people in concrete activities that promote social development;- Promote the concepts and practices of active citizenship and European citizenship among young people;- Involve local populations in activities and projects for the reuse of abandoned goods;- Involve local institutions in shared urban redevelopment projects;- Enlarge the strategy that will be defined to other European organizations, with the aim of creating an ever wider network.<< Activities >>The main activity of the project is an exchange, scheduled from September 03 to September 14, 2019 in Caserta. During this period, participants will take part in workshops managed with non-formal education methods, role-playing games and simulations on the themes of active citizenship, participation and European citizenship. They will also acquire knowledge on active citizenship, social inclusion, respect for the environment, involve young people in culture, using the experience of partners. The participants of the international groups, with the support of the leaders and the facilitator, will write proposals for activities, initiatives and good practices to be applied to the reuse of abandoned structures and areas, especially in peripheral areas and popular housing, to return them to the community. Finally, the proposals, through a group discussion process, will constitute a shared strategy, which will be presented for the first time during an evening open to the population and local authorities during the exchange, in an abandoned structure entrusted to the host association . During the exchange, participants will also define a common dialogue strategy with the institutions, as well as shared guidelines for the dissemination of the project.Furthermore, before the exchange, during the pre-departure preparation phase, the participants will conduct research on active citizenship and the reuse of goods, within the communities of origin, gathering ideas and suggestions.During the dissemination phase, finally, the participants will involve other young people, secondary school students and local communities.A total of 32 people will participate in the exchange: 24 participants, 8 leaders, of whom 1 will be the facilitator.12 of the 24 participants have fewer economic and social opportunities and come from peripheral or popular housing areas. More specifically, these are young people aged between 16 and 28, belonging to the NEET category, with economic and social difficulties. The young people in question come from urban suburbs, in some cases they have not finished secondary school, have never taken part in European programs, have had little or no chance of traveling abroad and have difficulties with the English language. They have no ideas about their future and have never been recipients of work orientation activities. For these participants, additional preparation and support measures are provided, in order to ensure full inclusion within the activities. The other 12 participants, however, are young people aged between 16 and 28, who have an interest in the issues of active citizenship and European citizenship, active in their community and who have already taken part in voluntary work experiences local or international level, also with the organizations involved in the project. In some cases, they are young college students. They have a medium level of English, however sufficient to guarantee a fruitful discussion of the project themes. The group leaders, aged between 25 and 35, are active members of the partner organizations and have already overseen the planning and management phase of some of the local activities organized by the partners. They have experience in managing groups of young people, have notions of conflict mediation and active listening. They have in-depth knowledge of the issues that sending organizations deal with and have knowledge of non-formal education methods: this will make them an active part of the facilitation process during the exchange. One of the two leaders for each organization will have the particular task of supporting participants with fewer opportunities more consistently (even during the workshops) and monitoring their emotional state.
