Nowadays, ecological issues have become extremely significant. One can see a huge need to educate in ecology issues, but also a great interest of young people in this subject is observed. During the event, we will show how each field of science (technical and engineering, humanities, natural sciences, health sciences) can support ecology. See how scientists are building ecological solar vehicles, visit Sky Lab observatory, which enables observation of space debris, check how eco-friendly supercomputers work, discover what a green city of the future should look like, learn how to create ecological packaging. You will find that scientists are ordinary people and their work is really fascinating. The NIGHTFOREARTH builts on the expierence from the previous ones realised within last 13 years, with 2 new partners on board and new science fields invoved. Topics at individual Partners were selected in terms of the main message of the project which focuses on showing how we can care for the Earth in our every-day -life. Environmentally friendly solutions will be also adapted in the project's promotion and management. During each subsequent Reserachers' Night, public interest has been growing successive and new generations have become interested in science and scientists. This year's project aims to strengthen previous ones and shed light on new aspects of science. We want to spread the idea to the public at large, but specially to the young people that the work of scientists is a noble mission to save the planet, and it is worth learning from them. And all this thanks to science presented in a direct playful way (edutainment). We want Researchers' Night in 2020 to be a great feast of science, family fun (edutainment), as well as an attractive alternative to traditional Friday evenings activities.

We want to show that although the Earth's climatic situation is very difficult, science offers hope to save it. This slogan "in science we trust" will be the main motto throughout the entire event. Its objective is to make public at large, and especially young people look at science as a source of strength, opportunities and hope for the future. During the event we will show how each field of science (technical, humanities, natural sciences, health sciences) can be a source of hope for saving the planet. The subject matter of the program will point to the importance of the European Green Deal for Europe and its citizens. See how to live in an eco-friendly manner every day, see what an ideal city of the future should look like, take a look at the plants that feed the world, learn to care for the ecosystem, find out how knowledge about trees can save lives, learn about environmentally friendly technologies. You will find that scientists are ordinary people and their work is truly fascinating. And all this thanks to science presented in a completely playful way (edutainment). The SOSNIGHT project is a continuation of projects from the last fourteen years, nevertheless presenting a lot of new things. Basing on the positive response from public during Researchers' Night in 2020 we want to include in this year's programme in addition to stationary events also online events, which sparked great interest in 2020. A significant advantage of the project will be its flexibility. We are able to modify the program and the way of organizing its events in response to changing situation in the world. Topics of individual Partners have been selected so that they are in keeping with the overall message of the project. We want to show that the work of scientists brings hope for the planet, and it is a lesson that is worth learning from them.

Researchers Night project covering two editions of Night 2024-2025 will continue the earlier themes, although focusing on topics related to sustainable development. The motto of the project is: "Scientists from different fields work together for the sustainable development of our planet". Researchers and public at large will tackle important issues related to the European Green Deal and the EU Missions. By bringing the world of scientists closer to people we will gain more interest, understanding and appreciation for their work. On the contrary, revealing research achievements will lead to arouse interest in science among young people and encourage them to take up scientific work. All these will be achieved by organisation of two editions of Researchers Night and Researchers at Schools initiative together with pre and post-events creating all –year long promotion of research careers. SUSTAINIGHT is a continuation of the projects of the last 17 years, but presents novelties. The diversity of projects partners ensures covering wide range of research issues yet complementing each other showing how different fields affect the sustainability of our planet. We will show Zero Waste Chemistry, Ecological vehicles, Quantum computer, Will global warming harm us?, Visit the Meteorological station, Eco-friendly consumers and others. All these presented in an entertaining way (edutainment), tailored to wide audience. This project aims to strengthen existing ones and shed light on new aspects of science, taking into account gender balance, inclusiveness in science with a focus on Responsible Research and Innovation. We want the Researchers' Night to be a great celebration of science as before!

This Partnership will deliver a RD ecosystem that builds on the successes of previous programmes by supporting robust patient need-led research, developing new diagnostic methods and pathways, spearheading the digital transformational change connecting the dots between care, patient data and research, while ensuring strong alignment of strategies in RD research across countries and regions. Structuring goal-oriented public-private collaborations targeted at interventions all along the R&D value chain will ensure that the journey from knowledge to patient impact is expedited, thereby optimising EU innovation potential in RD. To support its ambition and missions ERDERA has been designed as a comprehensive and integrated ecosystem of which structure can be compared to an institute encompassing three main parts: (i) funding, (ii) internal (in house) Clinical Research Network that implements research activities targeting clinical trial readiness of RDs and accelerating diagnosis and translation of research discovery into improved patient care, and (iii) related supporting services (Data, Expertise, Education and Training) as well as an acceleration hub that serve external and internal RD community, all supported by all-embracing coordination and strategy and foundational (inter)national alignment.
