Winner of the 2008 Quality Award for the management of the Leonardo da Vinci project for the mobility of university students in 2006 and finalist in 2006 for the 2004 project. Since 2007, FEUZ has also coordinated the mobilities of student internships at the University of Zaragoza. The main OBJECTIVE of the project is to integrate the graduates of the University of Zaragoza and other graduates in the labor world through the host organizations involved, as well as to support initial professional training by improving cooperation between the university and the company.Participants have been able to put into practice all their theoretical knowledge while learning new aspects with great usefulness for their professional future and increasing their employability. The internships have helped the graduates to get in touch with the labor market, adapting the ""know-how"" acquired during the studies to the new technologies and methodologies applied in the companies and host organizations: Hospitals, Research Centers, Chambers of Trade or Professional or Cultural Associations. All the parties involved in the project have achieved great benefits: the participant as a main part of the project, and the host organization as recipient of the ""know-how"" of the host and their culture. The European atmosphere and the personal and professional experience that surrounds this internship program in companies is the most valuable of the whole process.PARTICIPANTSThere have been 16 mobilities, all of graduates (for that reason there is no option of recognition of the mobility in the academic record / supplement to the degree, although there are other recognitions). 2 are graduates of the Master's cycle, 2 come from Superior Studies in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Goods, 3 are graduates in Architecture and the remaining 9 are graduates or other fields. This project does not include participants from Higher Degree Cycles, who were included in the 2017 project, who was alive in the same period, since after the intermediate report of the 2016 project, the number of mobilities initially awarded was reduced to 16.As for the sectors: 4 participants come from veterinary studies, 3 from architecture, 1 from tourism, 2 from conservation and restoration of cultural goods, 2 from science, 1 from economics, 1 from nutrition and 2 from teaching. Each of the participating training centers selected the candidates before finishing their studies. The offers had their origin both in the institutions that FEUZ has in its list of companies and in the continuous search we carry out in collaboration with training centers and according to the profiles of the beneficiaries and their temporary availability, which is the most complicated issue to adjust.ACTIVITIESContact with the possible host company and reception of their offer in practices, communication to the interested parties of the offers, reception and review of profiles, sending them to the company, documentation and insurance management, support prior to mobility, request for an intermediate report and follow-up, email, final reminder of internships, economic and financial management. In addition we carry out transversal activities, mainly diffusion (informative talks in centers)We have also start to introduce the participants in the host institution searching process . We organize periodic meetings with guidelines for each participant to carry out a self-analysis in relation to their preferences (countries, activity sectors, company size ...), their needs (strengths and weaknesses), email drafting tips highlighting the advantages for the entity to host an Erasmus + participant, etc. As all the participants carry out their internships as recent graduates, these workshops are focused on promoting their employability and providing them with resources that will be valuable when facing the search for employment. In fact, we have had several resignations because they got a job before starting the mobilty, as a direct consequence of the techniques treated in these workshops.RESULTSThe internship suppose for the participant an international experience at a personal and professional level, a change in their mentality and in their point of view of what the business reality is, making them more competitive. For the host institution implies an improvement of its transnational capacity. The indicators of success are reflected in the number of companies that re-apply for participants, in the ease of incorporation into the world of work by graduates, and in the degree of satisfaction with the practice reflected in the surveys."

The students came from Intermediate VET from the technical fields of IT Networks, Electrical Installations and Health Care. Wellcoming companies have been provided by our counterpart partner in Lavelanet (France) and our intermediary partner in Brescia (Italy). An educational teachers’s mobility has also been made by one of our teachers, in the way of job shadowing. For this mobility we have wroked together with our intermediary partner in Brescia. With this mobility we have achieved a double aim: the teacher has fullfilled the 5 days mobility in an italian Company from his professional field and on the other hand, the teacher has accompanied and authorised our students in their last week in Brescia. In the case of 5 of the students, the training period has been a part of his Training in the Workplace Module (FCT), compulsory to obtain their VET certificates. In the case of the other 3 students, they have carried out an extra curricular training, similar to the ones they carried out in their FCT in Spain. It has been achieved, with these mobilities, for all the people involved (students and teachers), the following:-To improve professional skills-To improve social skills through teamwork in multicultural and multilingual environments-To improve the learning of foreign languages applied to the technical and professional fields-To Foster the entrepreneurial spiritFor our teachers, it was also intended:-To increase management skills concerning projects and international initiatives-To increase didactic tools and resources by comparing other VET systemsIn the management of the mobilities, our two partners have been in charge of managing things as the search of proper companies to carry out the training periods, providing student’s acommodation, trips to the workplace, the follow-up of the training and the day a day advice in the country when it was needed. The selection process of the candidates, their previous to the mobility preparation, the insurances management, the follow up and evaluation as well as the certification of the moblities have been carried out by the CPIFP Bajo Aragon. The shortlisting process has been carried out based on three aspects: the student’s academic records, their knowledge of the target language of the wellcoming country and the candidates’ capability and attitude towards to carry out the training. Prior to the mobilities, a series of activities related to the preparation of the project have been made mainly by the teachers belonging to the Erasmus+ Work Group of the centre. There have been talks related with the different destinations and wellcoming companies, as well as about different topics related with the mobilities. There have also been informative talks with the students’ families.During the training period, the FCT students’ tutors (also of the students carrying extra curricular trainings) have followed up the Erasmus+ training period, with the support of the tutors in the wellcoming companies and the staff from our counterpart partners in the wellcoming towns. For the teacher involved in Erasmus+ job shadowing training, it has been the Work Group from the centre who has carried out the follow up and evaluation of his mobility. We consider the participation in the project very beneficial for students, teachers, our educative community, town and environment. It helps us in the middle and long term to wide our students’ laboral horizon, because they can be conscious of their professional development don’t have to be restricted to their area but it can be expand to other countries in the EU.Projects such as this one can also increase the quality of our educative offer and can help the people in our environment to have a more positive visión of our centre.

Our students in HCN courses have been offered Erasmus training period since 2007, and for the last four years with our VET students using Erasmus+ grants both for teachers and for students in vocational training. In this sense, the Erasmus+ official calls of 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 have provided us with a useful feedback in the management of these projects. We intend to carry out training mobilities in companies for a period 5 weeks with 11 students, four from them will go to Brescia, four of them to Malta and three to Lavelanet. They are students of VET courses in the technical fields of Cars Maintenance, Electrical Installations, IT networks, and Health Care. Our partners in our welcoming countries are ""friendly"" educational centres and companies provided by intermediary organizations. We also intend to carry out 2 training stays for teachers, in the job-shadowing modality and for take our students. For these stays, we rely on the collaboration of a German partner, which is a counterpart centre. With these teacher’s mobilities we would like our teachers to learn new working methods and new ways of organization, improve their linguistic skills and have the opportunity to apply all they have learnt in their area of knowledge and with their colleagues as well. In the case of our students, this training period forms part of their Module Training in the Workplace, compulsory to obtain their VET certificates. For those students who are already certified, they will have a training project similar to the Erasmus+. What is intended with these mobilities, for all the participants (both students and teachers) is: - To improve professional skills. - To enhance social skills through teamwork, taking benefit from multicultural and multilingual environments. - To advance in the learning of the foreign language, applied to the technical and professional field. - To foster an entrepreneurial spirit. For our teachers, we also intend:- To increase our management skills concerning projects and international initiatives.- To increase our didactic resources by comparing other VET systems. In the management of these mobilities, our four partners will be in charge of providing students’ accommodation, their journey to the workplace, the follow-up of the training and the search for companies. The organization of the shortlisting of candidates, their preparation prior to the mobility, their insurance, and, of course, the follow-up and assessment which is needed to certify properly will be done by the CPIFP Bajo Aragón. In order to do this, a shortlisting procedure will be done based on the students’ academic records, their knowledge of the target language and the capability and positive attitude of both students and teachers to carry out the training. As it concerns teachers, we will also appreciate their active participation and involvement in the Erasmus+ project.Afterwards, there will be a preparatory period to organize the mobility, then, the training period will take place. During this training period, the students’ mentors in Spain will carry out the follow-up of students together with the welcoming country’s mentors and the support of the people involved in the project in both countries. In the case of teachers, it will be the coordinator for Erasmus+ in CPIFP Bajo Aragón the one who will assess their training. We consider the participation in the project as very beneficial for our students and teachers, for our educative community, our town and region in general. It helps us in the short and in the long run to increase our students’ professional horizon, as long as they realize that their professional development and career can take place not only in their own country but also in any other country from the European Union. Projects like this one also help us to increase the quality of our educational offer, and makes the people from our region to have a more positive view of our educational centre too."

In total, we intend to accomplish several training mobility periods with a duration of one month in a company each. These are for fourteen students, six of them in Derry (Northern Ireland), and the rest of them in Plymouth (UK). These students are doing different VET courses: Cars Maintenance, Business Administration, Electrical Installations, Computing and Nursery VET courses. All of them are doing Intermediate-level VET courses and their level of English is Elementary/Pre-Intermediate. All of them are eighteen years old or over that age.We also intend to carry out four training periods of five days each. These addressed at teachers and in the job-shadowing modality. For these training periods, we count with the collaboration of two associated members, one in Derry and the other one in Plymouth. They will be in charge of managing the training and the accommodation in the already mentioned cities. For all this, a selection procedure will be made, and it will take into account three aspects: the students? school records, their command of English and their attitude and skill to carry out the training period, both of students and teachers. Afterwards, there will be a period in order to prepare the mobility training, and then, the training period will develop. In the case of students, these training period, will be part of what we call ?Module of Training in a Working Company?, which is compulsory for obtaining the official certificate for their course. We intend that participants ?both teachers and students- in these formative periods can attain the following aims:-Improve their professional skills.-Improve their social competences through integration in teamwork of multicultural and multilingual nature.-Improve the learning of a foreign language in a technical and professional environment. -Foster an entrepreneurial spirit. More specifically, for teachers doing the mobility we intend that they can:-Increase the management competence for projects and international initiatives.-Increase the tools and didactic possibilities by comparing other Vocational Education systems. We consider the participation in the project as extremely beneficial, both for teachers and students, and for all our educative community and hometown. It helps us in the long and in the short term to broaden the employability possibilities for our students, since they become aware of the possibility to develop professionally not only in our hometown, but also in other EU countries.Projects like these also help to increase the quality of our educative offer, and to improve the external image of our school, which is perceived as a modern and efficient institution that takes active place in European projects.

It was awarded the 2008 Quality Award for the management of the Leonardo da Vinci University Mobility 2006 project and it also was a finalist in 2006 for the 2004 project.Since 2007, FEUZ has also coordinated the mobility practices of students at the University of Zaragoza. The final objective of the project is to integrate the graduates of the University of Zaragoza and superior graduates in the labour world through the host organizations involved as well as to support the initial professional training improving the cooperation between the university and the company. The participants have been able to put into practice all their theoretical knowledge while learning new aspects with great utility for their professional future and increase their employability. . As in recent years our institution has come to have current projects of 3 different calls and priority was given to the oldest projects, to complete the mobility granted. That meant, on one hand, a significant time lag with consequent management problems, and on the other hand, that in the approved projects we were unable to complete the approved mobilities, The beneficiaries of a year used mobilities granted in previous projects (for example in 2016 there were still graduates who completed mobilities of the 2014 project, there were mobilities left of the project of 2015 and of 2016 already approved). In 2016, after completing the 2014 project and after consultation with the National Agency, we decided not to use more mobilities of the 2015 project, whose report we are now doing, and to use mobilities of the 2016 project (of which we have already executed more than 70%). This fact was properly communicated so that funds that were not going to be executed could be reassigned to other entities. Although it is a fact that the degree of implementation of the mobility activities is very small, it has allowed us to ""catch up"" in the activity. That means that the mobility flows of the projects correspond to the reality.Among the 7 participants (3 were women and 4 men) the profiles are varied, but the graduates with veterinary training predominate (4). There are also 2 teachers and 1 graduate in Biotechnology. Each of the participating training centers selected the candidates before finishing their studies. The offers had their origin in both, the institutions that FEUZ has in its stock market and in the continuous search task we carry out in collaboration with the training centers as well, according to the beneficiaries profiles and to their availability, which is the most complicated item to adjust.ACTIVITIES performed:1. Contact with the possible host company and reception of their internship offer.2. Communication to stakeholders3. Reception and review of profiles4. Sending to the company, which makes final selection5. Generation of documentation and insurance application6. Pre-start support7. Request for interim report and follow-up8. Send final reminder of practices9. Economic and financial management (documentation checks and payments...)We also carry out a series of transversal activities, mainly for dissemination (informative talks in all centers)RESULTS: the traineeship gives the participant an international experience on a personal and professional level, a change in their mentality and in their point of view of what is the business reality, making it more competitive. For the host institution it implies an improvement of its transnational capacity. The indicators of success are reflected in the number of companies that request trainees again, the ease of entering the world of work by the graduates, and the degree of satisfaction of the practice carried out that they reflect in the surveys."
