Le Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle est un établissement public à caractère scientifique culturel et professionnel. L’enseignement fait partie de ses 5 missions fondamentales. Le Muséum offre une formation pluridisciplinaire organisée en six spécialités qui forme des chercheurs, experts et professionnels dans 4 champs de compétences:•Description et inventaire des entités naturelles et interprétation historique de celles-ci.•Compréhension des processus intimes du vivant, de son évolution et de sa dynamique, de l’échelle moléculaire ou génomique à celles des biotopes•Compréhension de l’histoire évolutive et culturelle de l’Homme, des relations passées et actuelles entre sociétés, milieux et écosystèmes•Diffusion des connaissances auprès de tous les publicsTrois des six spécialités sont impliquées dans des cursus Erasmus Mundus, http://formation.mnhn.fr/fr/enseignement-superieur/master-evolution-patrimoine-naturel-societes/international/formations-internationalesLe Muséum gère un nombre assez conséquent de mobilités, 25% du nombre total d’étudiants inscrits en Master 2 effectuant une mobilité internationale, dont une majorité dans le cadre des cursus internationaux qui accueillent une part significative d’étudiants non boursiers de la CE.Plus de la moitié des mobilités sont intra-européennes (63% en 2018/2019, 50% en 2018/19) (et donc relèvent de l’Action), ratio assez stable depuis quelques années et qui résulte de la pérennisation de nos 15 accords établis avec les universités Européennes et de 3 parcours internationaux (Erasmus Mundus).Au cours de l’année 2018/2019, 24 personnes ont participé au programme Erasmus + au sein de 10 organismes Européens: 17 étudiants (11 en mobilité d’études et 6 en mobilité de stage), 6 enseignants et 1 personnel.Les mobilités d’études ont eu lieu principalement dans les universités partenaires du consortium de l’International Master in Quaternary and Prehistory (existant depuis 2004 et récemment renouvelé sous le label E. Mundus). Les enseignants interviennent dans les universités avec lesquelles des accords inter-institutionnels ont été signés. Les mobilités enseignantes se déroulent pour partie au sein de partenariats universitaires délivrant un diplôme conjoint (associés à des accords bilatéraux) et pour partie dans le cadre de simples accords bilatéraux. Leur objectif premier est d’apporter aux étudiants de l’institution hôte une expertise complémentaire enrichissant les enseignements, et de permettre en retour aux étudiants français de profiter à terme de pratiques pédagogiques étudiées par l’enseignant en mobilité. Dans le cas d’un Master conjoint, l’objectif est en plus de permettre, à l’échelle d’unités d’enseignement spécialisées, une meilleure connaissance réciproque au sein du groupe d’enseignants. Certaines mobilités sont réalisées dans le cadre de l’organisation, à l’étranger, d’unités d’enseignement internationales communes, dont l’impact est toujours bénéfique pour la communauté étudiante créée et pour l’équipe pédagogique.Les mobilités de personnel sont en petit nombre au Muséum : elles concernent presque toujours des collègues chargés du suivi pédagogique des étudiants impliqués dans un cursus international, leur permettant de se former aux pratiques pédagogiques développés par les partenaires et à la mise en place de pratiques communes à plusieurs institutions européennes : le savoir-faire ainsi acquis a un impact bénéfique évident sur la préparation et la mise en place des mobilités étudiantes entrantes et sortantes.

The National Museum of Natural History is a public institution with scientific, cultural and professional vocation. Its mission is to conserve, to enrich collections and also to facilitate the applied and fundamental research, education, expertise and information?s sharingThe participation the National Museum of Natural History in Erasmus Programs during 2014/2015 allowed students to include one period of studies during their Master. This mobility allowed to enlarge their perspectives by participating in many activities and to be in touch with world and to enlarge their network.Participants of these programs are generally from Master 2 students and most of them are girls. They received monthly allowances. Our establishment apply the European system about transfer and accumulation of grades (ECTS) in all of Master programs since 2004. Documents for the Mobility Erasmus include list of provisional activities (courses, practical teaching, internship) associated to their grades ECTS. A grade in ECTS validated in Partner University is calculated based on scale adopted during the signing the bilateral agreementThe National Museum of Natural History received a limited number of students (about 200 for Master degree), but the investment in international partnership is particularly high. This institution is a partner of three JMD and between 2013 and 2015, 14 bilateral agreements new Erasmus was signed.It continues the efforts for promoting the international mobility, both incoming and outgoing, for students and teachers. It research not only within Erasmus + Programme, but also via other sources (for instance scholarships in international mobility from Com EU University of Sorbonne) for ensuring the best funding possible for student?s mobility.

This mobility has given them the opportunity to enlarge their perspectives by participating in many practical activities, develop languages and expand their network in the perspective of their professional project.Students participating in these programs are exclusively Master 2. Eigth out of 10 participants received an allowance and the majority of them are women.Our institution applies since 2004 the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) in all Master programs. Erasmus mobility documents include a provisional list of activities (courses, practical teaching, internship) associated with their ECTS credits. The marks accompanying the ECTS validated in the Partner University is translated based on a scale adopted at the signature of the bilateral agreement.The National Museum of Natural History receives a limited number of students (about 200 for Master degree). Its investment in international partnership is therefore even more important. This institution is partner in three JMD and several bilateral agreements with European universities.It pursues the efforts for promoting the international mobility, both incoming and outgoing, for students and teachers, not only within Erasmus+ Program but also via other sources (for instance scholarships for international mobility from ComUE Sorbonne Universities) in order to ensure the best funding possible for student’s mobility.
