The Galician territory needs young Europeans who move in a single market and contribute to the creation of a more open and integrated European labor market, as well as a balanced professional training and in direct contact with the labor and business world of Europe. The School of Hospitality Álvaro Cunqueiro, belonging to the Provincial Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of A Coruña, Hospitals of Europe I (2011-12), as well as, for the instruments of validation and recognition of competences ECVET produced in the project Transfer and Innovation Learning results-oriented mobility placements to gain transparency and recognition of qualifications in the field of Tourism and Catering - LEOqualTC (2013-2015) of which the School was a partner. The profiles to which the project was directed were:- KITCHEN- BASIC KITCHEN OPERATIONS.- BASIC OPERATIONS OF RESTAURANT AND BAR- CAFETERIA SERVICES- RECEPTION, EVENTS, COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING- BASIC FLOOR OPERATIONS IN ACCOMMODATIONS (floor manager). The main training objectives were to achieve:- Provide participants with greater competitiveness in the labor market, or stimulate their interest in order to undertake a course of higher education in the sectors of reference. The total mobilities foreseen were 18 with a duration of 2 months each. Finally, 13 mobilities have been made to 4 participants countries:1- Portugal (1 participant),2 - Malta (4 participants),3- United Kingdom (4 participants),4- Italy (4 participants)The intermediary and host partners are in their back composed of entities that have collaborated in mobility projects [LDV-PLM, Erasmus + KA1] as well as collaborators in the project of Innovation Transfer -TOI that the School of Hostería the period 2013 -15 as a key partner. The present mobility project was carried out from 01/09/2015 to 08/31/2017 with a total duration of 24 months.NOTE: We would also like to point out that one of the participants from Malta (Brais Quintana Bolón) returned early from their stay in Malta because a local catering company asked the School's management to carry out the professional internship with them once he started the mobility in Malta. It served as a probationary period as they were interested in hiring him at the end of training/probatory period. The boy asked for the returning since the company was not ready to wait until the end of the mobility. This is why this participant only made a mobility from 27/06/2017 to 07/15/2017 as it appears in the mobility tool.

PROJECT CONTEXT AND BACKGROUND. The 3DGoldSkills project was born within Arezzo’s GOLD AND SILVER DISTRICT, which is one of the most traditional and historical sectors of Tuscan industry and that represents the Italian excellence in the world of jewellery. The current difficult economic situation, however, has resulted in a sharp change in the competitive landscape that had hitherto supported the growth of the sector. 3DGoldSkills aims at facing these issues by RAISING THE LEVELS OF DIFFERENTIATION AND INNOVATION within the industry. This will be possible through the YOUNG’s training and specialization in the field of process and product innovation for the jewellery industry, as they will be able to support the companies’ process of modernization (lacking of technology) as well as the process of development of advanced services, in order to compete in an evolving market increasingly invaded by competitors.3DGoldSkills aims at contributing to the increase of employability for students or young people who have recently completed a course of study in a professional school. This target will be achieved through two actions: students mobility and high school graduates mobility. The participating schools are professional-technical schools that have included in their curricula: courses related to chemistry applied to the gold sector (galvanic processes), courses related to rapid prototyping and new 3D technologies, courses related to design and art applied to the gold sector and to marketing / sales.OBJECTIVES. The project’s main objective is to carry out mobility actions in the field of gold and silver for the young living in Arezzo. The planned activities are aimed at improving the participants’ life and soft-skills, that will help them to be included in the labour market and hard skills, which could be useable in the GOLDSMITH field. In this way, the local businesses will be able to find, within the local labour market, trained and highly Europeanized young people, who will be able to support their business decisions of high strategic impact. The project will also recognize and validate the LO through linear and clear procedures in compliance with the ECVET. This will be possible thanks to the use of skills and credits recognition methods and tools through Learning units, which shall be capitalised and turned into education and / or training credits.PROFILE AND NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS60 STUDENTS. 16/19 years old students attending State High Schools in Arezzo.20 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES / QUALIFIED.
