The CAZE project helps CAZE young people and youth workers to learn entrepreneurship with all modern and digital tools. The young CASES will be trained by experienced youth workers who are entrepreneurs themselves nowadays and share their current knowledge and experience with them. The intellectual result will be that both CAZE young people and youth workers will develop their basic skills and confidence to create and develop their own business and will know how to use digital tools for this. The target groups of our project are young people aged between 18 and 35 from rural areas, immigrants, young people with reduced opportunities, youth workers, youth organizations. In our project, we stimulate and practice the use of digital skills in 21st century e-commerce, including literacy skills such as 3D printing, virtual reality, website and store design, and media literacy through e-learning and publishing, learning such as conceptual and creative thinking by collaborating in a team and with other independent professionals and communicating through modern channels.<< Objectives >>The project is a strategic partnership aimed at promoting social integration and inclusion by retraining youth Caze facing social exclusion and who can capitalize on their basic skills in EU countries and develop activities that lead to improved practical skills through an innovative educational format. Through the project we will develop tools to provide integrative support for cross-cutting, entrepreneurial and trade skills through an electronic platform to sell their handmade ethnic and traditional products. For about two years, the coordinator of theAsociación de cooperación al desarrollo ABARKA project has focused its activity both locally and at EU level, on what is the process of social inclusion for people with integrative difficulties and the promotion of entrepreneurship, being in a continuous development at the same time being noticed at local level thanks to the Erasmus projects. Our project aims to start a way of integrating youth at local / national and European level, meant to increase the value of cultural differences. According to the need identified by the experts of our organization, namely that the vast majority of youth come to Europe with a set of valuable but unused craft skills. The cross-cutting and entrepreneurial skills of “CAZE” TARGHET GROUP will remove barriers to entry into the EU labor market by providing educational alternatives and digital tools to help them capitalize on finished products. We appreciate that the transnationality of our project and the online media coverage of digital tools, the idea of entrepreneurship, will transcend the boundaries of the consortium being a plus for youth from target group from other EU countries that are not involved in the partnership. At the moment of identifying the partners for the establishment of the consortium, the common vision of each potential country to be part of our project was analyzed and the analysis of the situational context was started. In the past year, there was an improvement both in internet user skills (at least basic digital skills) and in advanced skills (ICT graduates and ICT specialists). In 2019, the percentage of people that have at least basic digital skills reached 58% (up from 55% in 2015). A large part of the EU population, however, still lacks basic digital skills, even though most jobs require such skills. In 2018, some 9.1 million people worked as ICT specialists across the EU, 1.6 million more than 4 years earlier. Nevertheless, there remains a shortage of ICT specialists on the labour market: 64% of large enterprises and 56% of SMEs that recruited ICT specialists during 2018, reported that vacancies for ICT specialists are hard to fill. The problem is even more widespread in Romania and Czechia, where at least 80% of enterprises that either recruited or tried to recruit ICT specialists reported such difficulties. There is also a gender balance issue as only one in six ICT specialists are female. The purpose and objectives of the project:1. Developing the capacity for self-entrepreneurship for youth from target group a sustainable and independent life;2. Promoting the social inclusion of youth target group “CAZE” in EU countries by empowering them to enter the labor market through newly acquired skills.3. Development of digital skills in the field of new technologies, promoting interaction between participants and specialists-mentors in the digital field;4. Enhancing the capacity of organisations to work at international level by implementing a European projectTarget group and needs addressed:Young people from rural areas working in crafts, migrant, young people with limited opportunities, all of them form our target group ""CAZE"".Youth workers and specialized staff in the field of integration of youth, especially at the local level of the participating organizations, specialists in the digital field<< Implementation >>19The project partners will produce the following intellectual outputs in the 24 months period of the strategic partnership. The methodology of the creation of each project result is explained below.PPR1 - Ethnicraft training format for up-skilling youth CAZEDescription: partners will organize an international seminar in Turkey to develop a new training format for the up-skilling of youth CAZE with handicraft skills in basic and transversal skills the lack of which constitute a barrier to entry to the EU labor market. Without embarrassment, there are various serious challenges, including those of the climatic climate, consumption and unsustainable production, as well as various forms of contamination. As indicated in the ""Ambient Descendancy Index"" - https://epi.envirocenter.yale.edu/ -, France occupies the 2nd place, Spain occupies the 12th place, Estonia occupies the place 48, Italy occupies the place 16, Moldova occupies power 112 and Russia occupies power 52. , empowering citizens and supporting key action like industrial policy, finance or investigation, while guaranteeing social equity for a just transition. The global climatic change and its impact on the people and resources of the plant are serious social challenges. The actions that we take are influential on the truck of the future. It will also affect our ability to respond and adapt to the changes and reduce the vulnerability of people and places to potential deaths. It is imperative to educate future generations about the causes and effects of the global climate change climate by implementing solutions dependent on an informed public. It is necessary to make an efficient intervention in micro-realities in order to build a bridge to a large spectral process directed to macro-realities. The ECO-life project proposal for a Successful Society nation of the Consorcio's social co-operation was totally in agreement with the ABARKA ONGD objective to inspire, potentiate and elevate the general and ambient climate change and the conscience between the young. Vocational education is a process that allows individuals to explore environmental issues, participate in the resolution of issues and take steps to salvage the mid-range environment. As a result, people develop a deeper understanding of environmental problems and have the ability to make informed and responsible decisions. The components of ambient education were:• Consciousness and sensibility make the medium ambient and ambient challenges.• Knowledge and comprehension of the ambient medium and ambient challenges.• Ability to identify and help resolve ambient challenges• Participation in activities that lead to the resolution of ambient challengesECO-life for a Successful Society (ECOSS) been an opportunity to learn, debate, analyze and engage both young workers / educators on current topics. ECOSS is a multiple activity that will involve a Capacitation Course (TC) and a Youth Interchange (YE)With the TC ""United Youth Workers to Environmental Education"", we involved a total of 20 youth workers of 6 countries (3 for each country and 5 from Spain). Lugar: España (Errenteria) The objectives of the capacitance were:- Propose to young workers knowledge, skills and resources to raise the awareness of the ambient environment and climatic change between young people and also educate the young people about the problems and aspects of the sustainable and changing medium environment.- Stimulate the initiative of young workers to create conscience and educate young people.- Participation in activities that lead to the resolution of ambient challenges- Propose to young workers knowledge and skills in digital narration to start a co-creation process between them and the objective of the young people to create a cortometry of educational animation. The final result of the TC will be the ""ECO-Education 2050"" gift game. In addition, the participants will establish a Social Awareness Campaign with content created during the mobility. With the YE “Say YOU AND ME to healthy LIFEstyle” we involved a total of 36 youths of 6 countries (5 participants + 1 leader of each country group). Lugar: España (Errenteria)The objectives were: - Try the methodologies / tools created during the TC with young people- Educate young people about environmental issues and climate change- Estimates participants to be invited to ecological exchanges between their parishes and communities- Estimate the sentiment of initiative and active participation of the participantsThe final result of the YE been educational animation record based on the specific objectives pursued by the Erasmus + program in the effort of the youth working of KA1. In addition, it respects the priority of the EU Commission on ""Energy and Climate Union"".<< Implementation >>RATIONALEAs the United Nations stated by the 2030 ‘Agenda for Sustainable Development’ goals, environmental aspects are one of the top priorities to act on our planet. There is an urgent need to focus on combating climate change, to adopt sustainable production/consumption and management of natural resource. In the environmental crisis we are currently facing, it has become a priority to educate and make people aware of the necessity to change through environmental personal, educational, and community practices. We want to promote students as active and responsible citizens with environmental awareness, allowing them to identify environmental issues and act constructively and sustainably, becoming the changemakers for a more environmentally friendly society. We truly consider that young people play a vital role as peer-educators, and it is fundamental that they have the suitable training to inspire the change that our world needs, now more than ever.ECOSS OBJECTIVESAwaken participants’ environmental awareness so that they can act as facilitating agents for students, inspiring the participation of the educational community in solving environmental problems; Provide participants with knowledge in the field of environmental education (hereinafter – EE) to sustainable development:(a)Concepts and types of EE [formal, non-formal, informal];(b)Evidence-based information and statistics about environmental problems;(c)Importance of the efficient use of natural and manufactured resources, and minimization of pollution and waste production;(d)The impact of every action on the environment;(e)Two types of economy: linear and circular economy and comprehension of the life cycle of consumer goods;(f)The 6 R’s of the environment (Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot) as a tool to simplify environmental education.Promote the research, sharing, and application of creative strategies in an educational context that promote environmental sustainability:(i)Educational tools and resources, including evidence-based information, statistics, videos, and practical exercises in the field of EE that participants can adapt to their context;(ii)Creation of EE activities and their use in educational context inside and outside the classroom;(iii)Reflection in large groups and subgroups, according to their subject areas and educational levels, on the best strategies for children and young people to experience and acquire environmental awareness skills.Lead the path from environmental awareness to action.Empower participants to carry out “hands-on” upcycling (creative reuse) low-budget activities. These activities using recycled materials will act as a starting point for ongoing work to raise awareness in children and young people about environmental issues.Real examples on how to change consumption patterns and reduce waste production.ECOSS METHODOLOGYInstead of snowballing negative discourse, we consider that a solution-based approach is much more successful. Considering this, the participants experienced an action-oriented and practical activities’ based course, with clear solutions to implement and “hands-on” activities. Throughout this project, participants will be able to learn first-hand experiencing related to environmental education. They were able to share their experiences and discuss how to approach this problem with fellow youngsters. We believe that small actions can have a big impact and that every effort counts. Therefore, ECOSS project motto is that the world needs millions of imperfect environmentalists, fighting for our planet with small (but effective) everyday actions.MAIN COMPONENTS OF ECOSS PROJECT ACTIVITIES(a)Awareness and sensitivity to the environment and environmental challenges (b)Knowledge and understanding of the environment and environmental challenges (c)Attitudes of concern for the environment and motivation to improve or maintain environmental quality (d)Skills to identify and help resolve environmental challenges (e)Participation in activities that lead to the resolution of environmental challengesMETHODS OF FACILITATONG EE WORKSHOP GOALS (i)Understand the needs and backgrounds of diverse learners to create an inclusive learning experience. (ii)Gain skills and resources for managing groups, creating the learning environment and dealing effectively with safety issues. (iii)Introduce inquiry and other teaching methods to meet a variety of learning styles and to guide the development of EE planning. (iv)Explore age-appropriate concepts and programming/workshops. (v)Gain skills in writing program and EE objectives and introduce basic assessment strategiesBoth TC (2021) and YE (2022) had daily motivation activities, self-knowledge, self improvement, working in pairs and groups, simulations and networking not only in the project venue but also in outdoor activities. The project activities have been structured on practical, funny and very motivated activities. The methodology transformed every participant in an environment conscious human who cares about their development but also about how to create a better and more fair society. Both TC and YE had interactive lectures, seminars and workshops to ensure full comprehension and every day assignment support. In addition, participants worked and received a carefully selected amount of documents as course’s material to implement the subject of the ECOSS project.TC & YE MODULES:[1]Educational practices across europe & the european environmental targets[2]Critical and creative thinking for sustainability[3]Evaluation of current practices of the ee[4]The ‘green’ 6 rs (rethink, refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle, rot) as a tool in environmental education.[5]WAEW: the 5 areas of environmental crisis (water, air, energy, waste)[6]Raising awareness[7]Taking smart eco-action[8]Measuring impact[9]Outdoor EE[10]Eco-stem activities and upcycling[11]Networking and future projects, presentations and assessment.ECOSS PROJECT PARTICIPANTS’ PROFILEThe participants that took part in the project were young people 18-30 who: (a)Are geographical disadvantaged and have challenges to engage the natural environment [for urban or industrial areas] (b)Young people from rural and natural areas who needed motivation and inspiration from their European peers to reconnect to their local area. (c)There are limited resources and services for them yet they required specific and tailor made activities just for them so they can develop their own skills and awareness’. (d)This in turn encouraged young people to support and participate in environmental protection and increase their connection ""Into the Nature"" as we believe the two can coincide and work together.<< Results >>This project had substantial impact on the participants, the partner organizations and the target groups (youth and local communities). The impact of the project in each of these organizations were the following:In the participants:youth workers• Skills to use in their daily activities as the youth operators acquired NFE knowledge and tools to promote environmental and climate change awareness and educate young people about the social and environmental effects/consequences of climate change;• Increased confidence and skills in delivering sessions through NFE media, with a focus on environment and climate change issues;• Greater understanding of environmental problems, climate change and its facets;• A better understanding of the design of the Erasmus + project, with a specific focus on the Youth sector.Young people• A better understanding of environmental problems, climate change and its facets;• Ability to act as ambassadors among their peers to promote environmental awareness and changeclimate. In associated organizations:• Acquisition of NFE tools aimed at increasing environmental and climate change awareness andeducate youth about the social and environmental effects/consequences of climate change;• Improvement of internal human capital through the training of staff members in the TC project, as well assuch as internal dissemination and follow-up activities operated by the participants;• Greater competence in the management and implementation of international projects in terms of preparation, management, cooperation, problem solving, administrative management, etc.In target groups:• Young people in the local communities where partner organizations operate will benefit from thisproject by being able to rely on more competent and active youth operators capable of involving them in experienceseducational. The impact will be further amplified as YE participants implement local activities toact as ambassadors to their peers and their communitiesRESULTSAfter completing our project, the participants have acquired the following competences to:(a)Improved environmental competences(b)Knowledge about innovative methodologies of teaching sustainability(c)Knowledge about research results on the effectiveness of individual habits regarding climate change(d)Increased awareness of the impact of collective environmental initiatives(e)Increased knowledge and skills on permaculture and ecological gardening(f)Increased environmental consciousness and awareness about alternative consumption patterns.(g)Knowledge about how to reduce consumption and change consumption patterns.(h)Skills on how to deliver upcycling workshops in order to increase environmental awareness.(i)Skills on how to design activities using recycled materials.(j)Intercultural competences and enhanced cultural awareness(k)Ability to create a stimulating and open learning environment and foster collective learning.(l)Ability to do networking and create professional and personal relations with teachers from other countries.IMPACTImpact evaluations seek to assess broad, long-term changes that occur as a result of a the ECOSS project. An impact evaluation may, for example, show that lower rates of community-wide solid waste accumulation were the direct result of our project activities. Impacts of ECOSS project included:EDUCATIONAL IMPACTSEducational impacts contributed to ECOSS long-term education goals. These impacts included long-term effects on our young participants and their learning environment. Examples of educational impacts include improved:(a)academic performance overall or in specific subjects(b)rates of graduation, college entrance, or employment(c)teacher retentionEducational impacts also consisted of enhanced conditions for learning and teaching, such as improvements in the physical learning environment (e.g., the addition of habitats) and improved relationships between students, teachers, and the community.ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTSEnvironmental impacts are positive environmental changes. These impacts included improvements in environmental quality and prevention of environmental harms. Environmental impacts of the ECOSS project occurred as a result of changes in participants’ behavior (e.g., lifestyle changes, participating in environmental action projects, etc.). Environmental impacts, like other impacts, can be small-scale (e.g. decreased litter in a neighborhood) or large-scale (e.g. increased community recycling rates).HEALTH IMPACTSPositive changes in human health and health care resulted from the ECOSS project. Human health outcomes included lower rates of disease, disability, injury, mortality, and greater wellbeing. Health care outcomes included environmentally healthier facilities for health care, improved rates of correct diagnosis of environmental health problems, and greater communication of environmental health risks between doctors and patients."
