    EFTA - Escola de Formação Profissional em Turismo de Aveiro, Lda. is a private secondary school founded in 2006, specialized in the area of tourism and leisure. Since 2013 she has been involved in several European projects and has successfully implemented 5 LdV / Erasmus + projects with a total of 100 mobilities. This new project pursues the objectives of the educational project and strategic plan: EFTA internationalization strategy, students' training and employability, tourism and leisure dynamism, and human and organizational learning. Likewise, it will continue to be implemented using good practices recognized by the National Agency during the year 2016. Participants attend Professional Courses (Level 4), are between 16 and 21 years old and reside mostly in Aveiro. They come from families with low / medium socioeconomic backgrounds, with unemployment or precarious work in the household, which increases the risk of dropping out of school. The general objectives are: - Encourage students to get involved in their own training - Ensure quality training that meets the needs of students and society - Creating cooperative networks of thought / action on training and employability - To know and participate in a global Europe, beyond the neighbor countries In relation to the specific objectives we highlight: Students and recent graduates: - Provide them with an international internship - Support the development of transversal competences that favor the labor insertion - Support the training specialization of graduates - Enhancing young people's contact with the world of international work - Make mobility a motivating element in relation to school and studies - Raise awareness to a wide range of career opportunities - Contributing to European citizenship Teachers and non-teachers - Ensure a more up-to-date faculty capable of introducing new pedagogical practices - Establish partnerships with European schools in the area of tourism and leisure - To know more deeply the training references applied in a European context - To allow the exchange of experience and good practices among European trainers on training and educational principles - To know, to implement, new specific practices in regular contact with the outside - Enable more effective school management - Bring the EFTA school context closer to the European reality - Improve the capacity of vocational accompaniment of students and their integration in the labor market The planned activities are: - 8 students to carry out 14-week internships in Tourism, Restaurant / Bar and Cooking / Pastry courses and 4 accompanying persons - 4 new graduates to carry out 14-week internships in: Cooking / Pastry, Restaurant / Bar, Tourism - 2 teachers in shadowing job: technical area and socio-cultural area - 2 non-teaching staff on shadowing job: head of administrative services and psychologist DESTINATIONS - Austria - Spain - Italy - Greece - Slovenia - Czech Republic - Finland (staff) - Denmark (staff) Participants will receive the following certificates: - EFTA certificate - Certificate of internship - Europass mobility document In relation to the impacts we can highlight the following: Students and Recent-graduatez - Integration in the labor market - Betting on new horizons, with better perspectives and motivation - Greater competence in intercultural contact - Promotion of continuous training - Internationalization as an enriching experience Impacts on staff - Greater pedagogical competence and ability to work - Greater proximity to the EFTA mission, values and identity - Increased ability to work in teams and in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments - More motivation to invest in quality and excellence - Adoption of habits of continuous assessment and systematic review of procedures and training content - Exploring the realities, practices and trends of tourism and leisure at European and international level for the classroom - Use of mobility and globalization as tools to convey sensitivity to languages and interculturality Impacts on EFTA - Reaffirmation of EFTA values - Greater capacity to respond to the needs of the county and region - Updating of pedagogical methods and techniques for improving training references - Improved school and professional orientation process - More competent and up-to-date teachers capable of motivating students - Reducing dropout rates - More efficient school management - Establishment of a wider network of contacts at European level - New international partnerships between EFTA and tourism and leisure organizations - Validation of ECVETs established for this program - Europeanization of EFTA, contributing to its promotion

    In 2014 the first project was presented in the scope of the XPTO + Consortium and the success that demosntrated its implementation was born the desire to give it continuity, presenting a new project in 2015. The entities that participated as sending entities in this new project were: Agrupamento de Escolas de Santo André, a Escola Profissional de Fafe, a Escola Profissional de Rio Maior e a Academia Total-IEDP. EUROYOUTH acted as a mediator between schools, providing the human resources and expertise needed to coordinate an ERASMUS + project.The project was defined around 4 objectives:- FAVOR EMPLOYMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALIZED AND QUALIFIED CAREERS OF NEWLY-DIPLOMATED PERSONS IN THE SEARCH OF THE FIRST EMPLOYMENT- GUARANTEE THE QUALITY AND UPDATE OF THE TRAINING OFFER AND VOCATIONAL ORIENTATION- PROMOTING ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONALIZATION- CONTRIBUTING TO THE SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF PORTUGAL AND EUROPEThe participants of this project were 60 graduates of the sending schools: Grouping of Schools of Santo André, IEDP - Total Academy, Professional School of Fafe and Professional School of Rio Maior, of the following training courses, level 4:Agrupamento de Escolas de Santo André - Management Informatics, Graphic Design; Receiving; Child Support- Academia Total-IEDP - Tourism; Electro-technology; Child Support- Escola Profissional de Fafe - Multimedia; Electronics, Automation and Computers;- Escola Profissional de Rio Maior - Renewable Energies; Health Assistant; Environmental and rural tourism; Electronics, Automation & Computers & Transportation & LogisticsThe students were between the ages of 18 and 24 and were mostly males (33), compared to 27 females. The students came from the municipalities or from the bordering municipalities of the sending schools, being, in the majority, students with a medium-low socioeconomic strata.Through this project, students performed their first professional internship with a duration of 68 days, with the students of the group 1 countries having access to the OLS courses and the participants who went to the countries of group 2, allowed the accomplishment of a Language course at the destination.The host countries were: the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Spain, Poland, Malta, Germany, Austria, Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.The impacts achieved were:The impacts achieved with this project were as follows:Participants- Strengthening of language, personal and professional skills- Knowledge / approach to the European labour market-Opportunity to know new cultures and acquire a greater cultural awareness- Higher entrepreneurial skills and competences- Approaching Europe by strengthening the sense of European citizenship, participation and identity and the interest in what happens in the different countries of Europe and the worldEducational and school communities- Greater proximity to the international market- Increased motivation and dynamism of work teams that acquired competences in the scope of the capacity of teamwork, ICT domain, structuring and planning of work- Coordination between institutions or organizations offering learning opportunities- Greater appreciation of the benefits inherent to professional, personal and linguistic experiences in an international context;- Knowledge of the opportunities and advantages of mobility in Europe;- Improvement in the quality of activities to be carried out and projects to combat school drop-out- New and different ideas to complement the training of graduates with European-level programs of excellenceConsortium partners- Reinforcement of skills at international level through networking and constant cooperation- Reinforcement of knowledge at the level of international projects, for example with the introduction of the ECVET recognition system in the XPTO + IV project, approved in 2017- Increased networking between vocational training schoolsInternational partners:- Increasing the network and networking at international level- Higher working capacity- Updating of working methods and techniques

    Eurojoven Castilla y León was created to answer the needs and level of employability of young people in Castilla y León. Different VET institutions in our region working with the Regional Authority of Youth and companies in other countries by providing training to 55 graduates of intermediate degree at placements in the professional sector in which they studied . The mobilities have a duration of 12 weeks in countries like United Kingdom, Ireland , Poland and Czech Republic. Professional fields covered by the project are: hairdressing , nursing assistants , image, mechanical, electrical , construction , business management , administration and catering .All participants will work on the basis of a training agreement with identified learning aims , the tasks to carry out during the workplacement and develop skills . These competencies include specific aspects of intermediate level qualifications obtained as specific aspects of labor and common to all fields world. Likewise, they will gain greater autonomy and improved their social skills and personal level. The intercultural aspect of the experience is guaranteed through the daily life of the participants in another country and another culture .The personal and professional enrichment of 55 young people from Castilla y León will take place through this project. They will be able to carry out new training experiences and initiatives after their participantion . Participants will be able to asume as their own their learning outcomes living in another country and sharing different lifestyles, history ... and in short everything that brings us to understand ourselves as part of Europe . The close collaboration between different sectors of youth, formal education within educational institutions such as regional authority in youth and companies provide the project a high quality.

    “Startups-Developing entrepreneurial skills and mindsets based on modern web technologies”.The startups is a new business model based on innovation and fast development and can contribute decisively to the massive creation of new, quality jobs.In many European countries, startups were proved to be very important for the growth and creation of jobs. The European Commission realized the significance of startups as a tool for strengthening the competitiveness in the European economy and has implemented the Jeremie program to fund startups. Mobility that exists in the area of startups is an important optimistic fact for Greece, trying to overcome the economic depression. The startups are important for young people who have vision and ideas to implement as well as the eagerness and temper to fight and struggle to make them real. The most important goals of the project are to:1) enable students to increase to offered vocational education by our school in the field of youth entrepreneurship2) enable our students to be aware of new prospects in their professional horizon in order to face their future with more optimism3) acquire skills and abilities, new attitudes and positive thought in this kind of youth entrepreneurship4) have a complete aspect of the startups ecosystem so that in future to be able to take initiatives in this field5) develop, improve and use digital and web skills The program proposes two students streams of:1) 15 students of IT sector with two companion teachers. Students are trained in the development of web applications, and software and hardware product sales. They successfully participate in student’s computing and robotics competitions.2) 15 students of Administration and Finance sector with two companion teachers. Students are trained in business management, marketing and accounting. They participate in nationwide business simulation contests. The project activities include:1) three-days workshop in startups development methodology specialized to participant's needs,2) Visiting incubators, startups and professional associations in Greece and Czech Republic.3) Seminars with key target the activation of participants in the European Dimension and operating parameters of startups. The expected results and benefits of the project are:1) Increased motivation for innovation, creativity and initiative.2) The development of entrepreneurial skills and improving employability and career prospects of graduates3) Growing positive attitude towards the employment prospects of the organization's alumni in Greece and other European countries4) The development and improvement of digital skills online and the application of these skills to promote entrepreneurship.5) The acquisition of Europass.6) Improved skills in English7) Development of social skills through living in another country in Europe and interaction with the people and culture.

    The Municipality of Torres Vedras, as an entity that participates in the definition of the educational strategies of the county, proposed the creation of the Moinhos consortium with the main objective of creating sustainable and lasting partnerships, fostering networking among schools in the county that offer vocational training.The MOINHOS consortium was set up in 2014 by the Municipality of Torres Vedras and the professional schools in the council, following the unofficial collaboration that already existed in the Leonardo da Vinci Program as a first experience in the ERASMUS + Program.
