The exchange of people between Higher Education Institutions and also enterprises promotes new forms of learning, teaching and work, linking the formal to non-formal learning, acquisition of best practice, new ideas, new visions and concepts, news experiences. Erasmus project is a bet for our institution, it promotes motivation, responsibility and maturity to our students through the knowledge of new realities, new cultures, new languages and new mentalities, allowing the open mind has citizens of the world. The practical aspects promoted by Erasmus are the benefit for an adoption of an innovative education image and forms. The participation in European values, associated with the access to new methods, technologies and practices used in other countries, give students more attractive profile for a future job. Beyond these positive aspects of mobility exchange, Erasmus allows the increase of interinstitutional cooperation between different universities and higher education institutions and their effort for modernization, cooperation and similar recognition of learning and outcomes, the transparency of qualifications and competences become a reality.At the same time the integration of enterprises in this sphere, contributes to the practical learning concept and an easy way for students and new graduates to get in labor market and in a global economy. Allowing them to test innovative approaches, develop new academic and professional skills and developing new visions of cultural and personal profiles.In this project we achieved the mobility of 116, where 107 are students from different areas of our institution and 9 staff; undergraduate students are the huge number of candidates and their preferences goes to Poland in 1st place, where three institutions takes a big percentage of our students. Czech Republic is the 2nd preference between our students for studies and Spain for training mobility. The average of length is around four month and 24 days between students and 5 days between teaching and staff mobility. In this project all students’ mobility length was cover by the project’s grant, initial grant for studies was for 72 mobility and we achieved 87. The impact of Erasmus program between students and staff are always positive and spreading contagious, those who tried, request for another opportunity. Students try to spend the maximum of mobility allowed, requesting by extension of its period. Staff makes registration every year. The Erasmus mobility is so positive that the report of the experiences between students and staff are the biggest and best promotion that can be done to the program.

Likewise, mobilities were defined for the teachers of the coordinating institution in the partner institutions, in order to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and, at the same time, to bring experiences, networks and research projects between the IPVC and the partner countries.The project aims to strengthen cooperation between the countries of the IPA and East ENI and the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC) to promote the internationalization of higher education and know-how by sharing the best teaching, learning and research. This project will allow more and better opportunities for the bachelors, masters and teachers to meet with new European realities of learning and research.These objectives are related to the internationalization strategy of IPVC, which is based on the three main pillars:1. Providing quality teaching, research and teaching, enabling your students to access the best available resources covering the international faculty and international student community (including bachelor's and master's level as well as exciting teaching / learning experience in the exterior;2. Establish new and improved strategic alliances and partnerships - take them to the next level of collaborative activities;3. Encourage collaborative projects, research activities and management experiences with our current and future partners.In addition, this project will support the EACEA's vision of:• Develop and enrich societies by improving the skills and qualifications of women and men through mobility.• Promote multicultural awareness and a multicultural environment within higher education.• Contribute to the reinforcement and deepening of the recently created cooperation network between the IPA and the eastern countries ENI and the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, participating in processes of knowledge sharing and capacity building.• Promote European higher education, especially in the Western Balkans and Eastern Caucasus region, and work towards the creation of internationally transferable educational policies and standards.• Training not only academically speaking, but also in terms of its ability to participate as a key partner in a large-scale mobility project.• The project will strengthen cooperation between our partners and the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo and promote the internationalization of higher education and know-how by sharing the best teaching, learning and research practices.
