KG,Itaka training,Expat Intern SL,Omilos UNESCO Neon ThessalonikisFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2016-3-FR02-KA205-012167Funder Contribution: 238,255 EURIn relation to the Europe 2020 strategy, the project addresses the themes of social inclusion, employability, the active participation of young people in the civil society, training and youth work. In particular, in relation to the seven flagship initiatives for the European contribution to the Europe 2020 strategy that aims to stimulate progress in terms of growth and employment, our project is based on the second flagship initiative “youth on the move”. The target of our project is made up of young people who lack of basic competences due to social, economic and geographical barriers. Hence, the target may include young individuals involved in training or young Neets. Developing mobility paths abroad and improving basic and transversal competences is particularly difficult for this specific target. The project had multiple objectives. First of all the project tried to develop the 8 key competences in the emotional, cognitive and social field among young low-skilled Neets while ensuring an intellectual, inclusive and sustainable growth. Moreover, one of the main objectives was to promote the mobility of young people aboard in order to increase their employability, allow them to have the same possibilities as the other young people, reduce the social gap between the different groups, acquire the fundamental international and intercultural vision for the development of life skills and guarantee the validity and the quality of these people’s employability. The project involved 15 partners belonging to 6 different countries with expertise in the fields of education, social inclusion, youth employment and in the relations with local businesses and organizations. Under a quantitative point of view, more than the 882 originally planned participants were involved. The main activities that were implemented are: -the creation of a network: contact and research of training entities, companies at the national level and training agencies able to organize and support the various steps -the development of a platform in order to manage the network and create a link between young people, social entities and businesses. -the organization of 14 multiplier events in the 6 countries involved in order to present the 2 IOs.-in the framework of the second IO, 11 creative meetings took place with the participation of young people and training managers in order to understand how to organize the mobility for the project target; creation of the content of the guide-the organization of 5 days of training on the content of the guide dedicated to youth workers and to those responsible of the aspects related to the training. -the organization of the mobility of 16 young people in order to put the methodologies into practice. The initially planned results were achieved. Under a qualitative point of view, we have created a working group and we have established a dynamic of exchanges between social entities and economic organizations in order to organize and plan mobility projects dedicated to low-skilled young people, thanks to European and national funds. The young people who participated in the mobility developed their life skills and triggered a mechanism of innovation and qualification that is reflected in the territory of origin. Finally, there has been a professional development of those who work or are active in the fields of education, training and youth through the training period that took place on the basis of the guide established within the project. The feedback that we received through the analysis of the resource sheets provided by the guide was very positive. The impact generated was both short and long-term. In relation to the short-term impact, the most important effect was the one on young people and on youth workers who participated in the mobility and in the training. For the social entities, being able to get in touch with other European organizations and to get to know other businesses willing to welcome a young NEET was fundamental. As far as the long-term is concerned, the impact mainly concerned the creation of a mechanism of development and activities production that aims to promote social inclusion and the employability of low-skilled people. Another impact to be highlighted is the one on the project partners since it allowed us to acquire further competences, to develop new collaborations and design new project proposals in order to ensure a follow-up and sustain the ongoing actions. The project results reflect the EU strategy for youth by 2027 as well as its priorities. Thanks to the instruments designed within the project, we can promote a youth work that promotes quality, innovation and the recognition of youth work in order to support the young Neets in their journey towards inclusion.

It followed up on VET Mobility Charter 2017-20 in response to the Internationalization Strategy's Lepido Rocco Foundation. It pursued the aim to specialize: * nr. 150 training students - Apprentices/selected from students attending the III-IV the year 2018-19, in the ""ICT/Robotics-Mechanics & Electronics, Tourism Management, School of Hospitality, Agri-food, graphic design, Hair-Beauty"" of the CFP Lepido Rocco in Veneto Region; - Apprentices/selected by a National Call to students attending the III-IV the year 2018-19 in the ""ICT-Robotica"", ""Economics-touristic"",""Mechanical/mechatronics"", ""Electronics-electrical engineering"", ""Tourism Management, School of Hospitality"" of the Italian Technical-Professional Institutes. The target was represented by young people, in possession of Lev.B1/CFP LRocco and Lev. The profiles chosed throuth the mobility ""S.HARM"", reflecting the new legislation (DPR. 87, March 2010) that redefines the technical Education and the most recent developments of Science and Technology in the development of knowledge aimed to give its students the knowledge, skills and abilities that characterize today, an Industrial Expert (Liv.3-4 EQF) by Upskilling Pathways. In addition,-in line with Future Developments-First year 2018 VET Mobility Charter- It had to play a key role in the economic recovery, the Smart Specialisation strategies tailored to the specific characteristics of the territories. In addition, ""High-performance apprenticeships &Wbl: 20 guiding principles"" points out that the creative and soft skills ability of a company is inversely correlated to the age of its employees. In line with ""Riga Conclusions 2015 on VET"" and the demands of the market that imposes a growing bond between schools and businesses, the Lepido Rocco Foundation developed close cooperation and strict relations and focus groups with the world of work and in particular with the SMEs of reference of its based students. The participation of several stakeholders, policy makers (ANPAL, INAPP, dr. Perulli for validation of competences, President of Campania Region; Responsible of Schools involved..) and entrepreneurs in defining and planning of training promoted the skills mismatch abroad. Businesses often complain of young people, their lack of flexibility and adaptability, entrepreneurship and personal autonomy. The project SHARM therefore assumed great importance since it allowed beneficiaries to a direct comparison with situations linguistically, culturally and technologically different from their local context stimulating their curiosity and self-study, in EU/International dimension. The experience even in terms of personal commitment, was a great opportunity for Staff and students: it substantially affected on their future professional life, given their location in an area (VENETO Region, Italy All), on subject to strong pressures and in need of new ideas and initiatives. The beneficiaries showed of fitting in different realities, very productive and characterized by a rapid evolution, both from a technological point of view and of the organization of work. In the course of the mobility experience abroad, the beneficiaries acquired those concrete knowledge, basic skills (cross and professional), what a strategic practical experience, integrated into the school curriculum: they experienced with different cultures; they created synergies and team cooperation processes. They acquired experience in innovative organizations and social content very fruitfull for the employment. Many students received a concrete opportunity to stay abroad for working. All of them received Learning, agreements, Europass Mobility validated by the Authortities involved, here in Italy and in the EU 11 Countries involved by SHARM project. SHARM project received the EU logo'DG Employment; it has been presented during the Helsinky-VET week, last 15 October and in Rome on 18 October during the ""TCA ECVET Seminar's INAPP with Apprendship and the FRIGOPOINT Company, TV Campania 11.10.2109, RETE VENETA on 3 June 2019, Job Orienta in Verona, last 29 October 2019."

Developing and supporting an entrepreneurial culture, especially among young people, represents a driving force for the modern economy and a way out of the unemployment problem, as reiterated in the Europe 2020 strategy. Moreover, given the critical moment, particular attention will be given to the support of young migrants present on the European territory and in particular in the countries involved in the project (Italy, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Serbia, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, France and Bulgaria).A web platform was created within the ItsTIME project, with the aim of changing the way of conceiving the matching between job demand and offer and formal and non-formal learning. The overall objective of the project was to support skills and qualifications transparency and recognition, by creating an innovative system that could be used in several EU countries, such as the ItsTIME web platform. The ItsTIME project was conceived around a transnational strategic partnership aimed at real cooperation, synergy and complementarity, between different organizations. The project partnership represented 10 EU countries, plus 12 organizations, some of which in recent years have collaborated with each other in the drafting and implementation of previous projects in the field of youth policies and in the promotion and development of similar interventions as ItsTIME. The partners were identified on the Eurostat basis on youth unemployment/employment data and on the presence of young migrants (such as refugees and asylum seekers). ItsTIME is a project on business culture, in order to raise awareness among young people between 21 and 35 years of age in developing the necessary skills to reach more easily the world of work .With ItsTIME you can familiarize yourself with the topics of self-employment and self-employment and take advantage of information and training tools in order to translate ideas into business. The project activities developed over a period of 24 months, beginning on 12 December 2016 and ending on 11 December 2018. Three Transnational Project Coordination Meetings were held, with the partecipation of one representative from each partner organization. The first TPM should have been implemented in Messina, but following the substantial reduction of the project budget (around 100 thousand euro), it was decided, after having obtained the authorization of the NA, to realize the first coordination TPM via skype conference, which served to plan the project activities. The other two coordination TPMs were held regularly, one in Sofia (Bulgaria) in November 2017, where the reports on the socio-economic mapping of each participating country were presented and discussed. Furthermore, was given space to the planning and organization of the Intellectual Output activities to be carried out throughout the second half of the project .The last TPM took place in Messina (Italy) in November 2018, where were presented the results of the activities carried out over the last two years, a preview of the platform realized within the project and were made agreements for possible developments and future collaborations. All this made it possible to evaluate the project according to the quantitative-qualitative data collected and to express an analysis of the results and objectives achieved. During the same period, the ""Take Your Future Now"" multiplier event was held, which saw the participation of over 4600 participants, including over 10 foreigners. Two Learning, Teaching and Training Activities sessions (Blended) activities were also carried out, both in 2018, carried out in the reference countries of the CCIE partners, and involved about 40 participants. The Blended mobilities intended to make participants aware of the CCIE system and to support their work, in the dissemination activity among the associated companies, of the project and web platform. At the same time, it was given the task of identifying and contacting potential national stakeholders, capable of supporting the development, even in the future, of ItsTIME.The added value of these activities was that of allowing participants to develop their personal, professional and transversal skills, and to know in the countries in which they were located, the methods of business creation, business planning and social innovation. At the end of each Blended, the participants acquired the know-how and worked to create informative material about the creation of a business, especially in the field of social innovation."

SMEs are very diverse in terms of business models, size, age, and entrepreneurs’ profiles. They range from liberal professions and microenterprises in the services sector to middle-range industrial companies, from traditional crafts to high-tech start-ups.The transformative impact for SMEs to embrace and drive sustainable development is on the rise. This shift is associated with long-term economic growth and minimal ecological damage. SMEs should carefully consider the social and environmental risks and threats to their long-term existence. The idea that SMEs play a relevant role in addressing the world’s complex social and environmental problems is widely recognized. Although the environmental footprint of individual SMEs may be low, their aggregate impact is significant.Following the assumption that organizations can be a force for positive change, the project aims to create a network of organizations interested in tackling sustainability issues and help SMEs in the green transition. Since all SMEs can play a key role in contributing to the SDGs, regardless of their size, shape and field of interest, they have to be supported in acting responsibly and pursue opportunities to solve social challenges through organizational innovation. SMEs are deeply woven into Europe’s economic and social fabric. They provide two out of three jobs, bring training opportunities across regions and sectors, including for low-skilled workers, and support society’s welfare, including in remote and rural areas.Competitive sustainability is Europe’s guiding principle for the future. Achieving a climate neutral, resource efficient economy requires the full mobilisation of SMEs. For this, tailor-made measures are a prerequisite to develop a thriving SME layer of economy as well as to give opportunities for growth to those SMEs that wish to scale up. Project partners observed a lack of concrete, clear and tailored tools for supporting SMEs and BSOs when it comes to environmental sustainability. Too often the environmental sustainability of business is only taken into account when observing corporate business and large companies. On the contrary, in line with the EU “SMEs strategy for a sustainable and digital Europe”, it is essential to support SMEs in this process and equip them with instruments to understand environmental risks and mitigate those covering specific sectors.Considering the profiles of project partners, the Business 2030 proposal will help partner organizations acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for supporting SMEs and BSOs by innovating the continuing VET educational offer. The synergies with BSOs and SMEs will help the partner organizations understand the needs of the stakeholders and in turn adapt the way their support and training is delivered to them. We believe this approach will be the most effective way to reduce the gap between training and the changes in the labour market. The creation of a framework for effective SMEs involvement (Project result 4) will be the crucial tool for achieving the project objectives with a mutual benefit for partner organizations and SMEs involved.Business2030 aims to provide organizations across Europe with tools useful to facilitate the understanding of the transformations to sustainability and assess the changes needed to meet environmental and social targets. A third of SMEs report that they face complex issues when trying to make their business more resource efficient (“An SME Strategy for a sustainable and digital Europe”). Yet, as awareness of risks related to climate and other environmental pressures increases this transition to sustainable business practices and conduct is key for SMEs’ continued competitiveness and growth. It is vital to support SMEs in this process and equip them with instruments to understand environmental risks.<< Objectives >>Considering the background of this proposal, the general objective of the project is to develop simple to use and effective tools aimed at upskilling staff members of BSOs and SMEs so that in turn they will actively engage in the sustainable transition. By tackling environmental sustainability from different perspectives (energy efficiency, mobility, management efficiency, circular economy, waste management, etc.) the proposal intends to address current gaps in the staff members of BSO and SMEs in order to successfully manage labour market transitions. To this end, the role of VET institutions is pivotal. The Business2030 project sets the following specific objective (SO):SO1: To develop professional skills of the staff of SMEs and of the organizations providing support to SMEs (BSOs), with a special focus on environmental sustainability;SO2: To support SMEs and BSOs in self-assessing their needs with regards to environmental sustainability and take action to reduce their impact;SO3: To increase capacity building of SMEs and BSOs and better address their staff needs and synergies with VET providers;SO4: To develop structured guidelines for involvement of SMEs and all stakeholders in their sustainability transition;SO5: To develop guidelines to support VET providers’ ecosystems and the way they engage with stakeholders and in particular the labour market actors;SO6: To create aware, sustainable and connected learning and working communities able to generate educational and business value and local growth through sustainable strategies.<< Implementation >>The work plan and activities of the project are designed to ensure the effective achievement of the results and objectives and covers all activities necessary for this purpose: preparation, implementation, communication and dissemination, as well as cross-cutting activities related to management and quality.Phase 0: Preparation (prior to project submission)Before the submission of the project, a preliminary research was conducted to collect relevant information regarding the readiness of SMEs and BSOs in the field of environmental sustainability. All project partners were involved in the design phase (several online meetings were organized) to establish a common ground for working.Phase 1: Kick-off and collection of data (M1-M5) - R1During the preparation phase of the project, a research will be conducted in the 4 partner countries that will carry out the pilot activity and at European level in order to analyze the training gaps and identify the areas to be improved addressed by the Self-assessment tool. A desk and field research will be carried out in each country involving stakeholders and setting the basis (Joint report) for the next phase.Phase 2: Implementation - Elaboration of Business2030 Self-assessment Tool SO2-3 (M46-M10) - R1Based on the research report developed in the previous phase, the project partners will work together to produce the methodology and develop the content that will constitute the Business2030 Self-assessment Tool, which will then be translated into the 4 languages of the project partners. All partners will participate in the development of the Tool under the leadership of People 2050. The finalized tool will be administered to the SMEs and BSOs.Phase 3: Implementation - Production of the Toolkit and development of the platform SO1-3-4-6 (M11-M20) - R2&R3By analysing the results emerging from the Self-Assessment Tool, project partners will proceed with production of the toolkit in parallel with the development of the platform for the MOOC. The delivery of the first version is planned for M16. Following this, the platform will be integrated with the Self-Assessment Tool and the toolkit content. Then all partners will work on populating the platform and promoting the participation of learners (M15-M20). The full and operational version of the platform (second milestone) is planned for M20, and will host the training course based on R2 addressed to SMEs and BSOs staff.Phase 4: Implementation - Piloting of the MOOC SO1-6 (M21-M23) - R3In order to ensure the proper conduct of the training activities, we have planned the involvement of 2 tutors for each organization that will carry out the pilot action in support of learners: these will be trained on the use of the platform and toolkit during the LTTA scheduled in Marseille in M18. The pilot action will involve at least 10 participants in each partner country who will complete the MOOC.Phase 5: Implementation - Analysis of results, update and production of the Framework SO3-4-5 (M22-M28) R4Partners will analyse the results of the pilot action which will be the basis for the Framework thanks to a cross analysis with the results of the research and the Self-assessment Tool. An entry and exit questionnaire to the MOOC will be proposed to participants in order to collect qualitative and quantitative data. CCIFM will then coordinate the development of the framework, the guidelines and the policy recommendations. In this phase, if needed, the platform and the MOOC will be updated.Transversal phase A: Management and Quality Assurance (M1-M28)All partners will perform actions aimed at ensuring the proper management of the project and the quality of results (please see management and monitoring sections)Transversal phase B: Communication and promotion of project results (M1-M28)All partners will widely promote and exploit the results of the project among European stakeholders beyond the partnership.<< Results >>Business2030 aims to upskill both the staff of SMEs and of the organizations providing support and training and at giving them the necessary skills and tools for guiding the sustainable transformation. To support organizations and SMEs facing demanding challenges and helping them shape new sustainable development paths, the Project plans to implement 4 results aimed at accelerating the transition. In order to achieve the aforementioned objects the following specific results will be produced:R1 Business2030 Sustainability Self-Assessment ToolThe tool aims to help organizations determine their performance across the major areas of sustainability. It will be a tool for investigating SME sustainability performance (i.e., environmental stewardship, labor and management practices, product responsibility etc.) It will focus on the SME internal policies and practices and reveal where existing practices support sustainability and where improvement is needed. The creation of the Self-Assessment Tool will be based on an initial research needed to analyse the current specific needs of SMEs and BSOs in each context.Project result 1 will support the achievement of the project specific objectives 2 and 3.R2 Business2030 Online Toolkit for VET providersBased on the results emerging from the self-assessment tool, the partnership will select the most relevant areas to be developed and will design a toolkit aimed at providing VET providers and BSOs staff with efficient tools for supporting the green transitions of SMEs. The toolkit will include original and innovative material developed by the partnership as well as Open Educational Resources (OERs). The final toolkit will result in an open course for SMEs and BSO.Project result 2 will address the specific objectives 1, 3 and 4.R3 Business2030 MOOCBoth the Self-assessment tool and the toolkit will be integrated in an online platform that will serve for the delivering of the online course. The Business2030 MOOC will guarantee accessibility, sustainability and scalability of project results: the format of the course, online and self-paced, will allow for replicability of the course during the project and beyond its duration. Moreover, the open format will allow for integration and future updates making possible to deliver further courses to SMEs and BSOs staff.Project result 3 will support the specific objectives 1 and 6.R4 The Business 2030 VET Framework for business sustainabilityThe document will present a framework for making SMEs strategies effective for environmental sustainability. The framework will be the result of the consultations with SMEs and BSOs matched with the findings emerging from the research and the piloting of the course. R4 will have a two-folded aim:- facilitating the participation of SMEs and BSOs along the path for sustainability and green transition- supporting VET providers in bridging the gap between the educational offers and the labour market needs.Project result 4 will support the specific objectives 3, 4 and 5.In addition, the Business2030 project will produce the following outcomes:- at least 5 SMEs and BSOs external to the partnership in each country involved in the project activities (research and testing, consultation)- at least 10 SMEs and BSOs staff members trained through the MOOC in each country- realization of the project website and graphic identity- creation of promotional material (in English and national languages) for increasing the visibility of the project- organization of one multiplier event in each country for the direct involvement of stakeholders at local/regional/national level- creation of synergies at transnational level between several actors that might results in future collaboration and opportunities both in the educational and professional sector- at least 2 staff members per partner organizations taking part in a transnational training mobility aimed at acquiring skills to support SMEs and BSOs.
