Growing social diversity in Europe (shaped by the refugee and migration crisis, as well as by the economic crisis Europe is facing last years) is combined with xenophobia and growing nationalism, especially among young generation in Europe. This situation creates a need for NGOs to actively involve in actions promoting diversity and social inclusion. In order to do so, we need specific knowledge and working methods. The project consists of two activities – seminar and a training course. They are both designed to meet needs of partner organisations (and their members – project participants), diagnosed at the initial stage of the project. The main objective of the seminar, first activity of the project, is to equip partners with complex knowledge about diversity and social inclusion of minority groups in Europe, situation of young people in Europe in general, problems and situation of young migrants and refugees, and about strategic importance of social inclusion for European society. The seminar will also provide space for exchange of good practices, networking, and planning future activities in international cooperation. As a result of the training course participants (and their organisations) will be equipped with practical tools of working with minority groups and young people in general, using theatre related methodology (mainly, but not exclusively, forum theatre). The training course will be oriented on practical tools of youth work. Participants will exchange, learn and use in practice theatre related methods of youth work, learn about methodology of forum theatre, and link those methods to problems and issues diagnosed before.<< Activities >>The project consists of two activities – seminar and training course. The seminar will be held in Braga, Portugal, in August 22nd-29th 2019. The training course will be implemented also in Braga, Portugal, from 28th of November till 6th of December 2019 (including travel days on both). The project gathers 11 youth organisations from 11 different European countries (Portugal, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Lithuania, Romania, and Spain) and foresees in total 65 mobilities of youth workers (for both project activities). Participants of the project will be workers, co-workers, volunteers and local leader from partner organisations, engaged in their activities at a local level. Project methodology will be mostly based on “learning by doing” principle and based on non-formal education methodology. During the seminar we will use mainly presentations, discussion, working in groups, analysis of documents, meetings with guests and experts, and theatre related methods (also for ice-breakers, energisers, and team building). The training course will be run mainly using non-formal, learner oriented and theatre related methods. We will base mainly on theatre related methodology, supported by presentations and active non-formal methods of exchanging ideas, experience, and knowledge. Such attitude to the learning process will enable engagement of all participants and provide them with space not only to learn, but also to share their competences with others<< Impact >>As the project is designed to provide new competences to direct participants, they are expected to be the group that is influenced by the project the most. Through acquiring new competences by them, also capacities of partner organisations will grow, which in turn will affect young people in their local communities, especially young refugees and migrants, whose problems are at the core of the project.Participants – group of members and co-workers of partner organisations will acquire new competences related to supporting and working with groups of socially excluded youth using theatre related methodology (including forum theatre method). Through acquiring of new tools of youth work and better understanding of situation of young people in Europe in general, and also by changing (or strengthening their attitudes) they will be ready to implement new activities on local, regional, and European levels. As the project will consist of two activities, seminar, more oriented on knowledge and exchange of experience and good practices, and very practical in its shape training course, impact on participants will be multidimensional. We expect it to be slightly different for participants from different social realities (for example different experience of the migration crisis between participants from for example Poland and Greece), but as a result we expect to create a group of highly trained and motivated youth workers, able (and willing to) to work as a group and cooperate internationally to solve problems of young people in Europe.

Associazione Eufemia chose to support them with the experience in writing European projects and involving some partners of local and international networks. Description of the project: Urban Sustainability aims to be an opportunity to confront peers from different countries on lifestyles and on the influence of the social context in which you are. Sport and physical activity, nutrition and the approach to cultural integration change according to the geographical area in which they live. This is why it is important to confront each other and find mutual incentives to inspire good practices and virtuous behavior. The reflection becomes an opportunity to discover something more about their potential and the ability to take care of themselves, but at the same time also of others and the environment in which they live. Urban spaces become the scenario in which to experiment, increase and improve their soft skills. Aims: - promoting youth mobility and cultural integration - enhance the resources of the urban periphery and the skills of those who live it - promoting a healthy lifestyle, sporting activity and sustainable nutrition - promote the values of the Erasmus + program Participants: 5 participants aged between 16 and 20 for the 6 participating countries + 1 adult Group Leader (2 for Italy). At least 50% of the participants come from social contexts with fewer opportunities (social, economic, geographical, NEET or drop out risk, unemployed) and gender equality is guaranteed. Place: Turin, Italy. Fourth most populous city in Italy, former capital of the automobile industry, in recent years has faced major transformations in the urban and social fabric. The activities will take place in Turin and surroundings, in public or private spaces that can provide adequate support and equipment. Dates: YE - From 10 to 19 July. The exchange will last 10 days, one of which is considered a travel day. Methodology: The project will combine various methodologies and tools: techniques that refer to non-formal education, role and team games, sports activities and creative workshops, linguistic animation and moments of individual and group reflection. Participating countries: Italy, Bulgaria, UK, Hungary, Macedonia, Portugal.

Designed based on mutual learning is beneficial current topic because background they come participants is important in the interaction between them for coming from different culture, each with a different education and different values and will influence each other so that formation as leaders will include one small footprint of each other's experience, which will make them unique The experience and knowledge that participants already have and the desire to share will be created in the project right environment to communicate, to learn things and new, but also there will be tools to make a comparison between the approaches and perceptions. Leadership in itself implies compliance with certain principles, but a person can not become a leader by meeting a predetermined formula, but by the amount of experience they live. Such an experience is the ""Lead Life"". As a result of this project we will create a platform for discussion and information where young people can find opportunities for mutual learning and interacting with other peers who have the same interests."
