    In project Erasmus+ Trasnporta and Telecommunication institute (TTI) perform student academical and administrative personnel mobility. Students according to Erasmus+ project has been given a chance to visit some of the partner universities for study period or traineeship. Also this chance is given to administrative and academical personnel where they can gain experience for work specifics in the partner university. The aim of this procet is to develop international cooperation with partner universities also the chance to gain international experience for project participants. In academic year 2015./2016. there has been 32 mobilities performed. 25 of them was student mobilities and 7 was for academical and administrative personnel. All students has finished their mobilities also gained ECTS has been assimilated and transfered to TTI system. Students shared they experience and filled the experiance story form. For academic and administrative personnel there was seminar for sharing their experience also they filled form for experience story. Students after return of the project willingly share their experience also recomends for other to use this chance. Also we hear from students will to participate one more time. This positive experience promotes Erasmus+ project and the interest for this project is growing. TTI foresees that interest will keep growing and this will let as more mobilities. If interest in going in mobility grows, also grows the interest for coming for mobility to Latvia. It promotes not only Erasmus+ project but also the interest for cooperation in other projects and science.

    This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from EU Member States and third countries associated to Erasmus+ to any country in the world. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.

    "Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, JSC ""Transport and Telecommunication Institute"" (TSI) implements the mobility of the students, as well as of administrative and academic staff. The students are offered an opportunity to study or work abroad and representatives of the academic and administrative personnel an opportunity to deliver lectures or participate in the professional training, organized by partner-universities abroad.Minimum duration of the mobility is 2 months and maximum duration is 12 months. Participation in the programme is also offered to the recent graduates of TSI. During the 2017./2018. academic year, 35 mobilities have been implemented, of which, 19 were student mobilities and 16 academic and administrative staff mobility. Study or traineeship results, gained at the partner institution, have been fully recognized and transferred into the study program of the respective student by replacing a certain period of studies. Students, on their return to Latvia, expressed their excitement for having an opportunity to participate in the mobility abroad. They were also happy to share their mobility experience and recommended the programme to the other students. In addition, students, who had already taken part in the programme, expressed their interest in the other types of the mobility, prolongation of the study period abroad or going abroad after graduation. This positive experience promotes the ERASMUS + programme and gives rise to increased interest in studying, traineeship, lecturing or training abroad. TSI predicts that the number of the participants will grow and it will increase and strengthen an internationalization of the institution."

    Within the project was realized student and staff mobility. Students within Erasmus+ project mobility were able to go to one of the TTI partner universities to study or to practice. Staff mobility included the teachers and administrative staff mobility. The project goals were to encourage the strengthening of cooperation with partner institutions and to give students and staff the opportunity to gain experience in the international environment. In 2014 / 2015 study year within this project where realized 18 student and 13 staff mobilities. All participants of Erasmus + project successfully completed their mobility, student’s grades were transferred and practice recognized, staff mobility participants shared their experiences, filling in questionnaires and they also reports in seminar on the experience they have gained. After returning from Erasmus+ mobility students willingly talks about their experience with other students, thus increasing the interest among students who have not participated in this project. TTI is expecting that the interest from the students and also from the stuff will increase and we will be able to realize more mobility’s. With the increase of outgoing students and staff number the partner institution interest about TTI is also increasing. Already, there has been more interest from students from partner universities who would like to go to TTI within studies exchange, as well as partner universities teachers and administrative staff are more interested in cooperation opportunities not only for the exchange of personnel, but also for joint scientific projects.
