With this project, we've started to implement the ICM project for the first time. We hosted one student from the University of Free State at the Spring Semester of 2019-2020 Academic Year. We have created guides and information packages about type of mobilities, application procedure, requirements and general objectives of the ECHE. The responsible specialist, Mr. Kanego, for Erasmus mobilities at University of the Free State was planning to visit us but it got cancelled due to the pandemic. As we have created all the templates and info packages, we are now more ready for further actions in the KA107. It has been understood and confirmed that The University of the Free State is dedicated to put this partnership forward and benefit from EU Comission's funding projects in the future as well. We have shared our organisational support with the partner university to support them with the administrative processes. The UFS achieved to create a sustainable system and an EPEC comission to take care of the Erasmus program applications.

KA103 project, from 01 June 2017 to 30.09.2018, has managed to perform 158 individual mobilities with and/or without financial support. 126 out of 158 happened to be SMS and 20 out of 158 are SMPs. 10 students of ours were from different nationalities other than Turkish. We see this as a result of 1 to 1 academic guidance and also a result of raising the awareness of the importance of academical planning and the significance of research and self- familirizing with various education systems and social- cultural environments- prior to their selection and during the outgoing students orientation sessions. Placement mobilities (traineeship) have been more of interest this year as well, especially among the students who have very limited opportunities to do SMS.Also, 14 Staff mobilities were carried off succesfully except one mobility, 8 of them visited our partner universities under STA and 6 of them visited our partner universities under STT. Thanks to staff mobility programs, we managed to start new agreements and enlarge the disciplines and numbers of quotas within the Erasmus+ existing bilateral agreements. One of the STT mobilities was invalid and is not granted. After the result of 2016 project, we focused on international weeks held by HEIs and send the staffs to these international weeks and it was much more efficient. Thanks to outcomes of such participation, we are now on a phase to organize an international staff week in the upcoming years as we have started to have many incoming staff applications. It is understood that the financial support is a big feauture for the participation but on the other hand the applicants’ focus is becoming more and more related with social, cultural and academical exchange as the international opportunities and general process of ‘abroad experience’ are becoming more advanced, easy and organized due to the implementation and practice of Erasmus+ that is improving continuously every year. Erasmus+ is becoming more and more attractive for every prospective beneficiary within our university and it is one of the most efficient and beneficial elements concerning the strategies of internationalization. It is great to see and understand that Erasmus program is being well known not only by HEIs but also by companies, entrepreneurs all around the world but especially Europe. This is also making the implementation easier.
