Abstract

Om de kwaliteit van leven te kunnen verbeteren, is het van belang mogelijke gebeurtenissen te verkennen, invloed op toekomstige ontwikkelingen te kunnen uitoefenen en een verantwoorde keuze uit de handelingsmogelijkheden te kunnen maken. Kennisinstellingen hebben de taak om onze vermogens op deze terreinen te vergroten. In deze bundel presenteren LEI-onderzoekers visies op de toekomst van landbouw, voedsel en groen. Zij geven een eigen visie in de vorm van een beschouwing, parabel, brief, redactioneel commentaar, column of iets dergelijks. Waar vaak nog gedacht wordt dat het LEI vooral staat voor cijfers over het primaire agrarische bedrijf, zal de lezer verrast zijn door breedte en aard van de visies. Mogelijk leidt deze kennismaking met ons werk tot vragen naar meer informatie. Daarvoor kunnen we verwijzen naar bijvoorbeeld de werkvelden op onze website. Wij houden ons graag aanbevolen voor op- of aanmerkingen, zodat wij onze visies waar nodig kunnen toetsen en aanscherpen.
