"<< Objectives >>The initiative to carry out this particular project at this place, this time and with these partners was born as a response to the current needs that the key persons of this project have experienced during recent years in various contexts. The applicant - the non-governmental organisation ""Get on board"" - consists of enthusiasts, who wants to empower the youth workers and young people with a media tool (a web based budget radio channel) which would help them with their activities on a daily basis. Young people in different countries - the target group of the partner organizations - definitely have a high potential, but often lack skills, tools, ways for self- expression, as well as sometimes the motivation and support.The partners agreed on the following objectives responding the common needs in their work with young people:- to support the educational choice of young people, adapting to new forms of cultural expression, new challenges, new opportunities in terms of self-establishment, growth and professional success;- to innovate the forms of aggregation, increasingly concerned by the social media phenomenon, succeeding in reaching young people in their path of life;- to help young people to influence the society in which they live, making them protagonists of change through the language of radio;- to aggregate the peers on the basis of common interests;- to contribute to entrepreneurship and creativity of young people and in the web-radio field;-to share technical skills and necessary methods for creating horizontal and democratic shows;- to improve the ways of communication of partner organizations.The objectives are directly linked to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme: including and empowering young people, raising young people's social engagement, contributing to life-long learning and self-establishment of young people. Besides, the project objectives correspond also tothe local NA priorities, such as contributing to young people's activity and exploring artistic skills and new technologies.The project aims to share experience with the partner organizations involved and to discover the web radio as a tool to improve communication with their target groups, of empowering young people, giving a possibility for better self-expression. Hence the name of this project: R.R.R. - Raising Radio Reaction - meaning - we are raising a reaction of the community, of the youth, of the youth workers, of Bulgaria, of Europe and the powerful tool is the radio media. All united in transmitting the essence of who we are, without filters, without mediation but respecting ourselves, our community, and others.The training course ""R.R.R.-Raising Radio Reaction"" will take place in Bulgaria, provisionally in September 2019, uniting 26 youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Spain, Slovakia, Macedonia, Lithuania and Luxembourg.<< Activities >>The training will take place in Lovech, Bulgaria in September 2019 gathering 26 youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Macedonia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Poland. The project is designed for youth leaders over 18 years old, who are involved in partner organizations' work and who have an interest in and dedication in carrying out a web radio throughout the duration of this project, responding the needs and challenges of their work - to improve communication with their target groups. It is also important, that the final target group is young people, as the project participants - youth workers - are supposed to apply the new skills and competences after the project in their daily work, dealing directly with young people within various fields, such as volunteerism activities, open space for local young people,social work. Each organization will select 3 participants, while there will be 2 participants and additional representatives from Italy and Bulgaria for providing logistics and organizing training. Each organization will select participants according to the canons, with regard to gender balance, open for people fewer opportunities (such as cultural, economic, social, educational obstacles) and special needs (specific diets, food requirements, the need of extra attention, care and support because of the specific background). With pleasure, we will welcome participants with less opportunities.The activity will be carried out using the following methods:""What about participation"" is about to debate the issues of participation, through Hart's scale analysis which in turn rankings, youth participation. The activity therefore aims to define the concept of youth participation not as abstract concept, but as a policy to pursue to make the young people independent and responsible for their success;""What about Web Radio"" provides a brainstorming on the knowledge that participants have on web radio. In this way, giving space to everyone, the trainer along with their participants will define the characteristics of this mode of transmission and participation;""CC policies"" will enable, through appropriate slides prepared by the trainer, to provide information to participants on the content in Creative Commons. In this way, the radios are viable, legally sending without cost;""Study Visit on Radio E-Volution Veliko Tarnovo"" The participants would have the opportunity to learn about the hosting radio studio .Since it is run mainly by EVS volunteers, they will briefly present themselves and their work in the radio. The E-Volution radio is part of a network consisting of 3 web based radios run in 3 towns in Bulgaria. The studio in Veliko Tarnovo is the newest one - established in October 2018. It is part of the Project “Radio E-Volution - Mission Veliko Tarnovo” which is a long-term EVS project funded by Erasmus+ Programme. At the end the speakers and the director will answer the questions of the participants, to help them understand the dynamics of the web based radio.;""Discover a web radio"", during this activity, the trainer will introduce the concept of server, asking participants to help them define the concept. The trainer will skip the Caster.fm login page (extraordinarily similar to Facebook) and explain in basic way, the opportunities that Caster.fm reserves for free; Subsequently, the group will be divided into groups of 4 and hardware and software management will be shown, leading to the creation of a Web Radio. Afterwards, you can proceed with ""Create your Own Radio "", where for the national group will be created the web radio that will be part of the network;""Strategy for a Successful Broadcast""; In this activity, introduced by a brainstorming, we will focus on how to attract new ones listeners, how to encourage the participation of young people through webradio and what responsibilities do they have in editing in send certain messages. For this purpose, a video will show bad and correct communication examples.;""Creating Jingles"" It is important for both fundraising, as well as for increasing the visibility of programs, initiatives and opportunities.""Creating Broadcast""; The session will include a clip that will allow participants to locate the various program genres radio (from the present, to the groundwork, entertainment,etc.), emphasizing concepts of ""durability"" and ""radio times"", by identifying the characteristics that can be found in any radio program. Groups of 4, will create programs following their strategy;""Simulating to Brodcast"" and ""R.R.R. on Air"" will allow you to get used to ""radio times"" and get acquainted with the medium and later, to manage a day of participating programs.Follow up planning (for strengthening cooperation between organizations we will organize the so-called organization EXPO and later discuss not only participants' individual plans for applying the new skills and competences in their daily work, but also to plan together some follow-up initiatives.<< Impact >>The project impact on participating youth workers is:-deliver to participants necessary technical and practical knowledge on web radio, in an autonomous and effective way in order to manage any technical problems that may occur;-improve skills and abilities youth workers in create Participated Broadcasts; specifically, they will be able to create, organize and broadcast programs together with young people in their community;- be more active and inclined to influence society and at the same time be a reference point for young people; through the ""Strategy for a successful broadcast"" sessions, they will be able to promote and encourage social and/or political changes by encouraging a more mature, responsible and central role for young people in their society;- acquire entrepreneurial skills in the field of web-broadcasting. - help participants to express themselves with innovative language; The whole R.R.R. project aims to make youth workers and every single member of the organizations present, a valuable person among young people, communicating more efficiently and positively through a web radio;- be able to attract other young people for achieve a common purpose; this will affect not only the partner organizations but also the young people themselves, which will be able to start a radio career and establish a mature relationship with a target audience determinating success of their radioproject;- raise up awareness on other cultures, learning how to relate with other national groups involved; the project aims to create the conditions for a stable collaboration between organizations within the network and above all, provide organizations' members of new tools for educate young people to appreciate the other's point of view and pacifically live in touch with different vision of the world;- raise awareness of the rights and opportunities Europe offers them; During the ""Create Jingles"" session, will be created jingles that advertise initiatives within Erasmus Plus, but it is the experiencein Bulgaria that will favor a different conception of Europe, close and ""friendly"", precious alley in education and young people's personal growth;- stimulate in young people the feeling of tolerance and altruism, contrasting and rejecting the birth of discriminatory and xenophobic attitudes; the project provides an atmosphere that allows everyone to express themselves without hesitation and without fear of being discriminated or criticized for their own opinions. It also fosters reflection on communication, making young people responsible for the messages they will send;- improve their communicative and organizational skills; the improvement will interest language skills (be confident speaking in English) and communicative effectiveness as well (being able to communicate their emotions and needs).- stimulate creativity and increasing propensity to get involved, understanding own attitudes and limits.The project impacts on organizations:- increasing the competences of the organizations involved, in the specific field of web radio, but also in terms of their ability to relate to young people and influence them positively;- to innovate the communication of organizations, giving them an attractive picture and in line with today's needs; - strengthening forms of cooperation with other European organizations, which will be effective in building up new partnerships for future project ideas and mutual support;-once organizations can manage the methodologies of this project, they will be able to place the web radio as a useful project activity in the ""Erasmus +"" field and beyond;The final target group of the project are the youngsters, with whom our partner organizations and the participating youth workers deal within various fields. The foreseen impact on the final group is:-better communication possibilities;-increased motivation;-opportunities for self-expression and changing mind of the society they live in.At national level, the project will be an opportunity to raise awareness on other organizations present in each of the participating countries, on low budget web radio, bringing them to an European Projects reality, growing the importance of expanding its organizational horizons abroad and not just at exclusively local or national context; encouraging Mobility of young European citizens for several and effective training opportunities, for their professional and human growth offered by Europe.At the European and international level, the project's impact at the local and national level will be extended throughout Europe, in order to allow the diffusion of Creative Commons and web radio, low-cost participatory methodology, making young people protagonist in the field of information and culture.From this project, we expect that more organizations in Europe can use Web Radio as a means to increase their own visibility and be more incisive in the reality in which they work."
