Bursa Uludag University (BUU) affiliated with National Textile University (NTU) in Pakistan and Kabardino Balkarian State University (KBSU) in Russian Federation in 2018. Thanks to this partnership, the students and staff of the universities had a chance to study and work/job shadowing in different universities of different cultures. Besides these, BUU helped set up an Erasmus Office in KBSU. After setting up the office, the first students of KBSU came to BUU to study. One student for Faculty of Medicine and one student for Faculty of Education were hosted in Bursa. The rector and teaching staff of NTU had a chance to visit BUU. They visited the laboratories of BUU and gave lectures to the students. the teaching and administrative staff of BUU went to NTU for teaching and job shadowing. These exchanges were very useful for both universities because Turkey and Pakistan are leading countries in textile and both universities are the leading ones in terms of undergraduate and graduate programs in textile engineering in their countries. Three NTU students were hosted in BUU for one term to study.Unfortunately, after the arrival of the students (NTU and KBSU students) the COVID-19 spread in Turkey and the universities started to give lectures online. Due to this, the students couldn't have chance to meet with the students of BUU but they had a quality time despite pandemic. The partner universities would like to continue the partnership with BUU under the Erasmus program.
