In the meantime, we are convinced of the effects on employees with disabilities of the USE gGmbH. Individual results were noticeably achieved with regard to the self-confident handling of impairments, the ability to communicate and self-determination.The Europeanization strategy of USE gGmbH not only promotes the equal participation of all European citizens (within the meaning of the UN CRPD), but also contributes to more democracy and cosmopolitanism by raising awareness of cultural differences. The USE gGmbH is willing to continue to transport the European idea into the company and thus the connected networks. The goal of the project Keep an eye on - Our way to Europe was for the USE gGmbH to make a start in promoting the short-term mobility of employees, who are in preparatory courses for education and training. In addition, trainers should be given the opportunity to learn how education and training of people with disabilities in the UK is structured following the government-mandated closure of workshops. The project was attended by 12 persons with disabilities who gained work experience through internships in a vocational training in Wroclaw. In addition, 17 professionals were able to hold seminars on the topic of inclusion in Wroclaw and London. The beneficiaries of the stay abroad were supported on their way to training and the professionals broadened their knowledge of the importance and practical work of people with disabilities in Europe. The stays abroad have meant that the team as a whole can better classify their own work against the background of experience. The own structures are thereby perceived much more positively. For the company, we expect further orientation towards European cooperation.
