ART & CULTURE FEEDS

Description

"<< Objectives >>Objectives of youth exchange ""ART&CULTURE FEEDS"" set by project participants are following: Learn about folk cultures and encourage innovation and creativity, intellectual and artistic freedom, research and cultural exchange between Portugal, Ukraine, Slovenia and Georgia; Build bridges across the cultures; Build life-long learning skills for better self-expression, self-realization and self-development and promote youth interactions, networks and partnership.Accordingly we expect that participating youth will share among each-other their folk cultures, this becomes more interesting because we will have different ethnic and religious minorities, which is an added value of this project. Participants will be encouraged to use innovative and creative tools during the learning process, such as video making, song lyric and melody writing, drama performance, short fictional story writing and etc. This will help them to freely self-express their talent and self-realize during and after the project. Each activity has its concrete aim relevant to the main objectives as mentioned above, but in addition, these activities will promote such values like tolerance, respect of cultural diversity, gender equality and equity, mutual understanding, respect and solidarity, which by itself will build the bridges between cultures. The project will also promote youth interactions, networks and partnership through creating life-long friendships and through improving their competencies in project management, in ICT, in talent self-realization etc. << Activities >>The whole project will be based on non-formal and informal methods and will be run by participating youth itself (such as working in teams, role plays, drama performing, painting, song creating, story writing and etc.).<< Impact >>We expect participants’ raised awareness on art and cultural diversity topic and strengthened capacities to share this knowledge back to their local communities. Additionally, through the planned activities and working methods mentioned above, they will: gain new knowledge and different experience about cultural diversity and its expression; gain intercultural experience in singing, dancing, story writing, presentation making as well as small event organizing; develop cooperation and communication skills by working in international teams; improve organizational skills by planning and leading project workshops and activities; improve argumentation and persuasion skills. Besides this, they will exchange experiences, opinions, good practice examples and inspiration by working in international teams that will lead them to find out more about different working cultures and life-styles. Based on all of this, we expect that new competencies gained during the project will help participants in self-development and in finding/creating job easier.New knowledge of the European projects, EU values, European Citizenship and increased motivation for taking part in other Non-formal trainings will be another impact on project participants, as well as on local community of Portugal. Youngsters involved in the project will learn about Erasmus+ Programme and such opportunities like EVS, Training courses, Youth exchanges and at the same time, after first and positive mobility experience they will get inspired to look for different opportunities under Erasmus+ or other programs. During ART& CULTURE FEEDS Event , which will be organized by project participants, locals will be also informed about these opportunities, radio broadcast will also highlight that programme was funded by Erasmus+ and that these opportunities are given to youth for free. Partner organizations will also benefit from the project with experienced and strengthened cooperation. At the regional level, all participant partners will acquire active Youth, who will be empowered to exert impact at the regional level by participating in the new projects and by being initiators of positive social transformation. At the international and European levels, this project sets a good example of how it is possible to achieve many changes in a short time span. The outcomes of this project will also encourage other partner organizations from Europe and beyond to work on the art and cultural diversity topic with diverse groups covering not only the Europe."
