Description

Erasmus + (Key action 1, Mobility Project for Higher Education Students and Staff) project conducted at WSB University in Toruń was aimed at organizing students’ mobility for studies andtraineeship as well as staff mobility for teaching and training purposes. The objectives of pursued mobility were as follows:-the ability to pass the part of a degree course abroad instead of studying in the home country-developing the competence, knowledge and skills of the participants (students and staff), especially in terms of their areas of education, skills in foreign languages, attitudes, entrepreneurship,-the maintenance of existing partnerships and development of the new ones in order to raise the quality of education (research projects, students and staff exchange in the new training areas);-developing new partnerships in order to make training practical and to adjust the profiles of the WSB graduate to meet the requirements of Polish and European labour market;-shaping the pro-European attitudes, the promotion of integration;-raising opportunities on the labour market for project participants-using the experience of foreign partners and project participants in order to create new training programmes at WSB;-making education at WSB University attractive to foreign students and graduates.During the project was carried out, our students were sent abroad 8 times for studies, 8 times for traineeship and 1 time staff member was sent for teaching and 4 times for training.Participants went to 10 European countries (United Kingdom, Holand, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Portugal, France, Lithuania, Malta).In terms of mobility, most of the quantitative and qualitative objectives were achieved. Students and the staff successfully raised their competence and knowledge realizing their learning and trainingprograms abroad. The lecturer ran classes in the areas of administration and management. Administrative staff observed the work of the partner Universities from the perspective of management of education sector, new technology, financial management and international cooperation.The results of the project and the long term benefits for both the University and the participants of the project involve:-closer cooperation with a foreign partner, which has been submitted to the joint project within a single sector of the Erasmus programme.-the implementation of experience gained during the project into the develop internationalisation;- continuation of the project concerning introduction of complete degree courses in English into WSB University studies portfolio;-the use of the experiences of international students and staff participating in the exchange and their independent activity on international projects.
