Description

This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from EU Member States and third countries associated to Erasmus+ to any country in the world. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.Mobility consortium descriptionur Consortium was established with the partnership of strong universities and sectoral representatives of the two largest cities (Istanbul-Ankara) of Turkey, which have the largest numbers of industrial developments and need for qualified labor force. The main objectives of the Consortium are to refresh University-Industry collaborations in the region and to introduce students into business life through high quality placements and thus help advance their careers. The main activities of the academic partners will be towards pioneering regional, national and international University-Industry partnerships through enhanced relations with companies and NGOs in the region. NGO partners on the other hand will carry out activities to direct and supervise the internship search process and help to prepare the students for intercultural exchange as well as supporting their presence in the sector and will have an advantage in correctly employing these students in the right sectors and positions. Moreover, academic partners will help and support quality personnel education through information dissemination and personnel training and lecturing of academic partners. Each academic partner will also benefit from the staff mobility to improve exchange of information and best practices between European institutions supported by the funds of the consortium.As a result of the planned mobilities, our consortium aims to provide qualified and experienced workforce to “Entrepreneurship” atmosphere in Istanbul and Ankara regions. With the mobility to certain areas related to entrepreneurship the envisaged impact of the planned project is to bring the outside knowledge to our country as well as building strong connections to enable to establish new business opportunities for individuals of both parties.
